I like his books alot. I have read Sieze the Night, Icebound, and a couple others and I like how he blends horror and suspense. I think that Sieze the Night was very good. Ill have to get to the book that comes before it, though.

I have quite a few Dean Koontz books, they're pretty good. I wouldn't say absoloutely amazing, but still pretty good lol. I really can't be bothered to go and see which ones I have on my shelf, but I know I've read Odd Thomas, Forever Odd, Brother Odd, The Face, Velocity, The Good Guy, The Taking, Life Expectancy, and probably a couple of others which I can't remember.

Well, I would recommend Sieze the Night and its predicessor if you haven't read them. They are better than many of his books, in my opinion.

That's one thing I love about his writing- the plots are okay, but it's the language that's truly amazing. I mean the descriptions he comes up with are incredible :D

yes u can picture everything that he writes which i think that if u are a good writer then the reader should be able to picture it and the reader should be able to feel like they are there and sometimes even wonder is this real or not? :-k :-k

Me too, I keep forgetting to do that, because honestly it's not that high on my priority list. I'm a little more concerned with passing school, and not bungling my college registration...

I want to read that Brother Odd book, though(when I make it to the library)

I have that book, it's pretty good :D But it's the same for me, I've practically stopped reading because I've got to get so much work done. I'm only online still here because I'm doing coursework between posts lol.

I feel bad for Christopher Snow in Seize the Night, though. I mean, living in the shadows. But it would be kind of cool to have that relationship with the night. But for life. hmmmmm...

I just finished False Memory, it was quite good. Has anyone else read that one? The descripition of the different phobias was fascinating to me. The one near the end was kind of funny...(Keanu?) But it's interesting if what the doctor did is actually possible...

I finally read Odd Thomas the other day, and it is my opinion that the book (series now I guess) is his masterpiece. If anyone's looking for a work of his to start on, I highly recommend it. And I never saw the end coming.
