Jadier frowned as she looked at the sands, they seemed endless. She had enough supplies to get through it, but she had no idea where to go. She'd been following the sun and the stars, but still had no idea if she was anywhere near getting out of the desert. She knew many people died here, and many people tried training here. Jadier wasn't afraid, but she was lonely. The egg had been pestering her much more often lately, and it was starting to get really annoying. Jadier had half a mind to just leave it there in the desert so she'd be left alone, but she knew it would never work.

Once a while ago, Jadier had tried to get rid of the egg, but it was like a wort that was impossible to get rid of. Sometimes it was quiet, but most of the time it wasn't and that was really starting to get on her nerves. Jadier side, the egg had gotten heavier, or at least she thought it did. She kept on tracking over the hot sands, hoping for some sort of oasis soon.

After around an hour of plodding through the heat, she finally spotted a patch of green and sighed in relief. She moved to it, quickly. She was eager for a break, and some fresh water, not the stale stuff that had been in her bag for days. She smiled as she could practically feel the cool water rushing down her throat, but something felt off...very off.

By the time Jadier had basically crawled to the water, she no longer cared if she was leaving herself out in the open, a perfect target. She normally would've picked up on the fact that there were others around, trying to figure who she was, but the desert had done an awful number on her and she had barely enough attention to focus on anything but the water. Jadier knelt by the spring and began to drink from it, she didn't drink too much, but soon she laid back against the cool sand and shut her eyes for a moment.

The shade and the water felt great, she didn't even care that there were bugs biting at her exposed skin. After a few moments she sat up and pulled the egg out of her bag. She grazed her hands over it before she set it in the sand. "Alright, we're here, resting, can you please leave me alone for five minutes?" she pleaded, almost as though she were crazy.

Of course in her mind she wasn't, and soon the pestering egg quieted down and she smiled with relief. She brought the egg closer and once again felt the appreciation for it as it kept quiet. Jadier knew it wanted to hatch, but she was almost afraid of what might be in the egg. If it was this annoying as a baby in the egg, how much more could she handle if it did hatch? She was confused, but knew that she did hold a fondness for it.

Jadier slept, not feeling the other two presences as they came close to her. Finally something ran down her cheek as a voice whispered in her ear. Jadier woke instantly, snatching the egg and holding it close to her as she bolted up and looked about wildly. She hadn't imagined it, and as soon as her vision cleared and she looked around, she saw two figures. Jadier nearly growled as she reached for her blade out of instinct.

"You do realize waking an elf is bad luck?" she hissed, eyeing them. She quickly sifted through their minds, long before they realized she was in them. She didn't find anything that would show that they meant her harm, so she lowered her blade, cradling the egg against her body as she sighed. "Next time, you'll have your head chopped off," she muttered, falling into a foul mood as she quickly stowed the egg in her sack and closed it up, the egg no longer visible.

OOC: I'll join in. Plus Erais, you will get to see my dragon character for the first time.

Bahamut was flying low, right above the sand dunes. He was looking some place to get a drink. The past few weeks, he has been drinking the pools he could find dry. He normally didnt intend it, but because he was so big and the desert is unrelenting, he couldnt help it.
Ugh, it just irriates me being here sometimes.

Eventually he saw one and began heading for it. He landed with a giant thud. The titanous bipedal dragon knelt down and lowered his head near the water and began drinking. When he finished he looked and saw a pair of two-legs and a wolf. He was actually curious why elves were all the way out here.

Ooc - Yeah that's fine, this'll be fun!

OOC: I'd like to join, if you don't mind.

IC: Solarae lounged about on the hot desert sand, snoring a little in her sleep. The sun felt so good on her scales this time of year, so she decided a little nap was in order. Suddenly, everything went cold and dark, and she mumbled uncomfortably as the wind rushed chillingly over her.

Erm-meh... wha's... wha's goinon? she said, still half-asleep, as her eyes slowly opened. The shadow that had passed over her was gone, but she could still see the dragon who had made it. Solarae sighed. Him again? Ugh, of course he'd wake me up. Oh well, he's usually up to interesting things. I'm gonna check it out, she said to no one in particular.

Solarae stood up, yawning and stretching her limbs. She flapped her wings a little to loosen them up. She still felt sleepy, but she'd wake up. She wanted to see where Bahamut was going. The last time she had gone with him someplace, she had had an excellent adventure. Maybe that would happen again.

Solarae flapped lazily from the ground, her miniscule orange form zipping quickly over the sand dunes. She spotted Bahamut not far away; he wasn't hard to find. She quickly caught the scent of a few two-legs and a canine as well. Hey! Bahamut! What's up?! she called, somewhat obnoxiously. Solarae had little reserve, and almost no caution whatsoever. She didn't really care if she had startled the dragon, or if she was intruding.

Ooc - Yeah, it's totally fine! This should be interesting!!

Ic -

Jadier felt a huge presence cross the land and instantly jumped to her feet, her sword drawn. She hadn't ever felt something so huge and massive before. She spun about, unable to see the thing until she felt her whole body tremble and she was forced to the ground. Her pack was jostled away from her and she scrambled for it, clutching it tightly to her as her eyes looked about wildly. She hadn't personally seen a dragon before, and this one put fear in her bones.

Not only was she feeling great fear for this dragon, but to top it off, another one crashed the small area, though it was very small compared to the larger dragon. Jadier clutched the sword with one hand, protectively holding the bag with her egg in the other. Leave me alone, I need to think, she hissed, not realizing she hadn't blocked her thoughts from the others.

Jadier looked wildly at the others, still holding the sword tight, but the egg tighter. What if they weren't friendly? She knew she'd never be able to hold off any of them, except perhaps the elf, that was if he were alone. She frowned, staring at them as she felt her stomach knot. Her whole life for the passed years had been revolved around keeping the egg with her, and keeping it alive, now she was stuck here and could possibly be killed. Jadier gritted her teeth, keeping her stance.

Jadier looked at all of them, clutching her bag tightly to her. She knew the power behind the ancient language, but she still didn't feel comfortable around the dragons. She finally lowered her blade, but almost held the egg closer if that was possible. I am honored to meet you great dragon, she nodded to both, giving the same greating. She still felt uneasy, and her mind was put on the defensive.

She looked up, once again frightened at the new comer, she held her sword up again, she could feel herself grow annoyed as the small presence in her mind began to cause a rather annoying background to her own thoughts. She grew irritated, but attempted to ignore it for now. She looked at the newcomer, her heart racing as she had never encountered so many powerfully stable being before. All in all, Jadier was at loss for words, simply trying to keep her wits about her.

Ooc - We are, but I got the okay from Daidrea to go ahead as he's been a bit busy, sorry I hadn't put that in my post.

Bahamut was getting annoyed with so many others showing up. After finishing taking another drink, he expanding his wings and took off and went to a nearby plateau to take a nap. He laid himself down and glanced back at the oasis.
Lowering his head he shut his eyes.
