Reb's chest pounded with the struggle to breath. She was gasping for breath after having the flat side of a sword slammed into her chest. She had been litteraly knocked to the ground and flat on her bottom. Thankfully her soldiers were fateful and had killed the man, but her soldiers wouldn't last very long. Not with the thousands of urgals and Shrukien there. She hadn't seen a single sign of Star Gazer for a fortnight. She was worried. She and her dragon had split up and went separate ways, because they were being followed. She regretted that greatly. And her thoughts were cut off by the sound of a brute slamming a sledge hammer in the ground next to her. She rolled out of the way just as it landed. It nicked her in the side, but she ingnored the pain. She drew her sword and thrust it in his abdomen, and then two other men came and slashed at her with their swords. She jumped back and then an axe came down upon her head. But someone came to her rescue.

"Reb!" with only a split second left before his companion was choped in half Talais swinftly shot an arrow completely through the attacking urgal. "are you ok?" Talias looked up. "this is bad, very bad." "re-" Talias was cut off then a hammer slammed into his back. pain shook his whole body and he fell to the ground. just before the urgals hammer smashed into his face Talias drew hs sword and sliced the urgal in half.

" Thank you." Reb said and then kicked the urgal with the hammer away. She then rolled away as an axe hit the ground infront of her. The urgals were renetless. She had to get out. Fire sprang from her hands and swalled the aproaching urgals whole but that didn't stop them all.

Faefnir was rampaging through the forest with the White Stag guiding him. Faefnir hadn't been in the forest for many years, so it wasn't a very good welcome after being away for so long. He sliced an Urgal in half while the Stag impaled another one on his flank. Reb, we must regroup! Star gazer and I got seperated near the Crags. I think I know where she is, but we must regoup. The Stag will give you an image of where to go and how to get there. The Stag acknowledged this, then immediately sent Reb an image of a large clearing where they were to regroup. Be wary of magical traps the elves set. Follow that exact route and you should be able to navigate through them without much harm. The clearing isn't too far away, but still be cautious. Faefnir will lead you to a safe haven and possibly Star gazer's location from there.

[color=#400000]Reb was cycloned into a tornado of fire, and a portal opened up. She fell to the ground in the clearing. She stood and brushed herself off. She looked around waiting for the stag and Faefnir. She wanted her dragon back despratly.[/color]

ic: Talias took command of the men as Reb left and rallied the shattered ranks to him. he quickly gave out commands to the troops and started to fight off as many urgals as possible. Talias fired shot after shott and soon he had very few left. better save these for latter. he drew his sword and sliced throug an approaching urgal. urgals started to sorroumnd him. overwelmed, Talias suffered several wounds and if it werent for the crude work put into the enemies wepons we would surely be dead.

Reb smiled at Faefnir, she knew how much Star liked him, so she respected him as well. " I have no idea." She said and then looked around for him. In the pit of her stomach, she could feel the dread of knowing what could have happened to Star Gazer. But she pushed the thoughts away, and concentrated on the great dragon before her.

IC:Eriel gasped as an axe sliced her back. turning around, she saw a kull. She lost no time, she unfastened the cloak she was wearing and threw it right into the kull's face, blinding him. Eriel quickly kileld the kull with a quick sword thrust. seeing their leader fall, the urgals turned around and retreated back into the south, never to return again. She thought to herself,"Well, im glad that's over." Then, she asked her dragon, "Emrhyst, where are you?" After a short pause, a voice came, Flying above a clearing in the forest, there is a group of people there. "Oh? its just scouting then? Okay, come back to me, I hear a company of men fighting against a battalion of urgals." Ok young one, just wait for me. Eriel retrieved her cloak, all tattered and torn from the kull chieftain. She quickly healed her back and proceded to mend her cloak. Just as she finished, her ears detected wing beats. Within afew seconds, a green dragon landed next to her. Hello little one. "It's good to see you again Emrhyst." She said as she mounted her dragon. "Well let's go, head west."
As they approuched the battlesite, the sound of blades clashing, flesh torn, bones cracking, grew louder until Eriel finally spotted the company of men she heard. Emrhyst let out a great torrent of flame as Eriel slipped off the saddle and started hacking her way through the urgals until she reached the leader, giving out orders, desperately trying to regroupthe men.

ooc: no its faefnire, star, you then me

ic: Taias mananged to clear a path for himslef out of the front lines and found Eriel. ''Good to see you here Eriel, long time no see." "The main urgal army is moving in from the east, Reb and Feafnire are looking for Star so I'm the commander until they get back"

IC:"Sounds delightful." Eriel raised her sword to the salute. Emrhyst acknoledged{sp?} him with a friendly roar. Out of the corner of her eye, Eriel spotted an urgal spying on them, or rather, her. Her eyes turned darker, "Excuse me Talias." Under her breath, she muttered, "Draumr Brisingr." The Urgal started to convulse in pain caused by the illusion. Its agonizing screams awoke the entire camp. The men started at her with hatred and fear. Eriel established a mental link with Talias and asked him, "Why do they look at me in that manner?" Her ears twitched as it heard the sound of a blade. Looking back, she used the hilt and jabbed it into the man's gut, then she turned around and struck him with the flat of her sword, all in less than one second. "Magic user! Kill her!" The man roared out. Instantly, the camp was filled with the sound of swords being drawn. She touched Talias shoulder and said,"I may have to kill some men here, forgive me." She merged her mind with Emrhyst and started hacking her way through the men, dodging and striking. Emrhyst fought with tooth and claw and tail, obliberating men with every attack. Eriel fought with all the dignity and grace you could expect from an elf ranger, her cloak flying wildy as the elf performed complicated moves, the sound of the wind being cut by her sword.

Songar thundered out of the tree cover. His black head thrown back in a cry of fear. He was in danger. He bolted right past an Urgal and ran smack dab into a clearing full of dragon and riders. His eyes bright red with fear. He cried out into the forrest again. An arrow burrowed in his flank. More arrows flew down and struck him. He collapsed to the ground. But then all who were around him, saw his mane turn to fire and his tail do the same. The urgals knew what that meant. They turned and fled.
Reb was sitting with Faefnir when she heard Songar's cry. Her steed was in trouble. Zantya took control and transformed into her fire outfit. Songar transformed into the fire steed and her wolves materialized from the forrest like gouls. She turned and ran to her horse's side a ring of fire burning around her. She was way beyond poed.[/color]

"I don't know" he told Eriel. "fools! stand down what is wrong with-" He was cut off when he relized he was under atack to by his men. "Something isn't right here," he told Eriels. He rushed to Eriel were they could fight them off together. "If we kill all of them we might have have a bigger problem on our hands" he told Eriels, looking at the hoardes of approaching urgals. Talias reached into the mind of a injured man but all he found was cloads, which was very unusual.

"Oh no... Talias fly!" Eriel's scar started to burn. She could not do anything except fall to her knees and endure the pain. Emrhyst roared with irritation and then agony when the pain travelled across their link. Between breaths, Eriel told Talias, "Mount my dragon, we're going to Reb." She forced herself to her feet and made a run for her dragon. She waited for Talias to mount Emrhyst. Her scar still burned and it took all her determination not to scream in agony.

ooc: hmmm scar let me look that up. *goes to eccepted bios* hmm shades and mages. interesting.

"Comming!" Talias imediatly bolted to Emrhyst were Eriel was waiting nd they took off. "That was close," Eriellooked looked like she was in great pain. "Hey Eriel are you ok? you look hurt?

Faefnir looked in the direction of the haven that he knew about. Talias, get on my back, quickly. Star, get Reb and take flight. Don't forget to grab Songar. I know it won't be comfortable for him or you, but it's the best way to get him to my safe place. Eriel, Emrhyst, get out of there quickly. Everyone, follow me! As he took off with Talias on his back, he looked at the Stag underneath. My friend, it pains me to leave you there. I trust your knowledge of the forest though, so I shall see you at the haven. The White Stag nodded in reply. You need not fear for me, great dragon. I will see you at the haven. With that, the Stag ran into the trees.

ooc: ok now let star gazer go

OOC:I was thinkin you should go first.

IC: Emrhyst roared out her agreement and then started to follow Feafnir. They were travelling fast, but not fast enough to put that distance between Eriel and urgal's mages to remove the pain. The wind howled in Eriel's ears as Emrhyst gained speed, then, the pain vanished. Looking back, she saw the urgals stopping and setting up a camp. She heaved a sigh of relief and memorized the location.

OOC: hey do you mind if I join in?

ooc: sure i guess so you post then i go.

OOC: Welcome to the Rp! So... the chain is....Faefnir>Star>Rpm>Me>Aeraldi...?

OOC: i guess so. we'll go by that formula from now on.

Faefnir turned towards the new presence. Stop! Eka fricai un skulblaka. He knew it would be enough to stop the two from attacking him and the group.

ic: Talias flew on feafnire next to Eriel, Emrhyst, star and Reb. Urgal archers came out of the forest from every were and rained arrows at us. "It seems the urgals have won the battle we have to get out of here." Talias managed to draw his bow while riding on Feadnir and shoot some arrows at the urgals although it was difficult while in flight.

Emrhyst watched the oncoming pair with caution. Looking for something to give away the rider's or dragon's intentions. Eriel scanned the urgals for a mage. There was none. Relieved, she shouted, "Thrysta!" The arrows flew back at the urgals.

"I serve the elves. I am against Galbatorix and the Ra'zac and I seek to kill them, well... More so the Ra'zac." Eriel said with a smile. "Welcome to our little travelling party, I trust that you have to ill intentions whatsoever." She then said, "Draumr Adurna!" The Urgals froze in their tracks. They imagined water pouring forth from their eyes, nostrils, mouth and ears. They started to convulse in agony, their screams of pain shook the very foundations of the earth. Emrhyst turned around and sent a torrent of flames at the trees, effectively stopping the urgals though she mourned for the lost beauty.

ooc: did i desapear from this because not only did you skip me feafnir forgot to mention me.

OOC: o, sorry about that. i totally forgot to put you in. I naturally put in Eriel and Star because we RP together a lot. forgive me. I totally forgot you were there.

Faefnir nodded his head as Star gazer turned around to get Reb. OK everybody. Follow me. We are almost there. As faefnir started descending, he saw the al-too-familiar hut on top of the lonely plateau. The White Stag was standing in front of the hut with two other figures, one of them quite large. He had a missing leg. As Faefnir landed at the Crags, he bowed his head in reverance to the great Glaedr and his Rider, Oromis.

IC: Eriel smiled as Keralin replied. Emrhyst said to her, "Mmm... You find him interesting yes?" Eriel blushed a little then said, "No secrets from you Emrhyst, none at all." Emrhyst snorted with delight. Then, they saw Gleadr's head pop-up above the horizon. Afew minutes later they saw the famed stump and Oromis' head. Before Emrhyst could land, Eriel jumped off and bowed deeply, reciting the traditional phrases. "It has been a long time Oromis-Elda."

Faefnir looked at Keralin as she walked towards them. Oromis, this is Keralin. We just met her on the way here. "Greetings, Keralin. It truly is an honor to see another live dragon here." Well met, Keralin. I am Glaedr. As these pleasantries were exchanged, Faefnir walked towards the Stag. What's the matter, my friend? The Stag looked towards him sorrowfully. Faefnir, when can we leave? Faefnir looked at him quizically. Dear friend, I thought you wanted to return. This whole adventure was your idea after all. So what's troubling you? The Stag sighed. I'm sorry, Faefnir. I can't tell you.

OOC: ah, sorry. i'll remember that from now on.

Emrhyst roared at the shades, who cringed in fear. She positioned herself beside Keralin, with Eriel in the saddle, an arrow on the string and taking aim.

ooc: pass im having one of those so called 'writer's block' lol

OOC: then it's my turn.

Faefnir, Oromis, and Glaedr heard the roars of the Urgals. "Don't worry Faefnir. Me and Glaedr will alert the elves." Then Oromis mounted Glaedr and they took off towards Ellesmera. Faefnir saw Emrhyst and Keralin fly next to each other and prepare for battle. He took off towards them and joined their little circle.

" We will hold them off as long as we can untill you get back, now go!" Talias drew his bow and started to fire a flurry of arrow with the limit of his skillsas the emeny ranks fell.

Eriel nocked an arrow and let fly at a shade who blocked it easily. He stared at her. Emrhyst roared as the pain from Eriel's scar started to traverse across their mental link. Eriel grit her teeth and strode forwards, every step was like driving a nail into your foot. She stopped infront of the shade and let an arrow fly with inhuman speed. The shade colasped as the arrow went through his heart. He let out a cry which caused the other shdes to look at him, then Eriel. Their icy gazes bore her down. Her knees buckled as the pain became unbearable.

Talias, being one of the greatest archers in Algasea, shot a arrow right through the heart of a shade and then another. He started to noticed that some of the dwarves were losing there mind control and started to atack the urgals but were slaughtered by the feirsome urgals almost instantly. when almost all hope was lost, on the horizen, he saw what might havve been Glaedr.

ooc: orry about the short post, i got this confused with 'another mission in the dessert' which took out a large chunk out of my post

IC:Emrhyst blew over to her unconcious rider. She nudged her gently then roared as five shades approuched her. She looked at them in the eye, waiting for them to make a bad move,one that would cause them their life.

Eriel quickly recovered from the attack then ran to the elves leading Zantya away. Emrhyst landed behind her and growled. She said to the elves Take her away, and you wil have both me and my rider to contend with.

ooc: thanks for waiting for me

this rp is pretty much over i guess.
