The wind was still. It was cool in this spot of the wood, despite the blistering sun above.
Drania had just wakened. She looked around at her surroundings, taking in the deer that was feeding not far from her. That doe would make a few good meals, Drania thought as she began to reach for her bow tucked beneath her pack. Then a fawn suddenly appeared beside the doe.
Better not, there are few enough animals in the forest without killing a young one.
Drania stood, and as she did the doe & fawn ran off. She stopped and looked where they had been for a few minutes, alowing herself a few blissful moments of peace, then started to pack up her few belongings. She pulled her dirty hair back with a piece of twine and thought Ugh, I really need to wash my hair the next time we come across a stream, villagers might start to get scared of me she chuckled softly to herself. All of a sudden, there was a rustling in the bushes behind her. Drania, suddenly alert, drew an arrow from her quiver and put it in her bow pointing it toward where the sound had come from.

Raign stepped through the bush. seeing the girl pointing her bow at his head. "Why are people so jumpy lately?" he asked alloud, as though he didn't care who heard. He looked at the girl then sat down on a stump, pulled out a peice of wood and began to carve it "So...what's your name?" he asked as he split it in half.

in the dark part of the forest Reb sat on Cobalt like a ghost. There were others in this lonley forrest, and she wasn't keen on meeting them. She dismounted and left her black steed tied to a tree. She scooted forward, and looked into the clearing. A shade stood, with a girl. " Better not go near, I don't like other shades." She thought then quit moving because she thought they heard her.

Keeping her bow trained on the shade, Drania replied, "People are jumpy beacause of all the danger around, it is good to be wairy. Safe." she said in a strange way, then as if suddenly remmebering what she was doing. "Tell me your name stranger, and I might be pleased to tell you mine."
Drania looked around to see if there were any other unknown people around.


OOC: I didn't get to type all that I wanted to on my first post so I edited it some.
It won't change your replies though.

"Well my name is Raign." he said "It's pretty sad when the world has become so full of hate, and violence that we must be aware all the time, noone trusts each other anymore." Raign looked at the sky with a longing gaze. "It's been too long." he said "since I have been in contact with the real world."

D'ran landed on a branch beside Rebekah and wispered into her ear, "Are we just going to stay here and listen? You saw the mercy she gave the doe..Maybe it would be safe to advance." D'ran made himself more comfortable and turned his head to Sundavar. Sundavar kept his head on the girl and mumbled under his breath, only loud enough for D'ran to hear, "I think we should keep our distance till we see how the lass will act towards the other." D'ran nodded at what Sundavar said and readied his dagger in his left hand.

"Yes, it is sad." then she hesitently putting her bow down. "Nice to meet you Raign, my name is Drania. What are you doing travelling through the forest?" still keeping an eye on him she went back to packing up her things. "I heard a noise in the bushes a minute ago, too noisy for an animal. Even the forests are untrustworthy these days." All of a sudden she whistled and a pure white falcon came and landed near her.

D'ran stop your bird. I don't want him making trouble with the falcon. I don't think I will go into the clearing. I am not keen on other shades." She wispered back. She began to back up. Cobalt spooked. He ripped his reins off the tree, and bolted into the clearing where the girl and the shade were. Reb cursed under her breath. She circled the clearing. If either of them hurt a hair on cobalt they would feel the wrath of her shade half.

Drania was still packing when suddenly her ear started twitching a little bit.
She cursed under her breath and spun around, pointing her armed bow at a moving bush close by. Seeing it was just a horse she pointed it back at the ground & sat on her haunches.
"This place is starting to give me the creeps" she stated.

Occ: Cobalt is a black stallion, breed friesan.

OOC: Shouldn't y'all wait for Hadenblowers?

IC: D'ran sat on his branch and tried to keep Horal from flying at the white falcon. "Quiet boy," he told the bird, "Or else they will surely capture you like that hunter." D'ran thought for a bit before releasing Horal to the clearing. Sundavar gazed at the sprite-kin when he did that. "Its an excuse," He told Sundavar. "Maybe they will forget us and we can watch for a bit longer." Sundavar only shook his large head and added a coil around the tree branch. "Quiet ye oaf!" D'ran grumbles at the wyrm before he slapped his hand over his own mouth.

Raign laughed at the sudden alert in the girls eyes "Don't worry, the people watching us are nothing to worry about. You can come out now D'ran, Sundavar, and Rebekah. I won't hurt you."

" I am only worried about my horse. That girl can not be trusted at this point Raign." Reb said stalking up, and grabbing cobalt's reins then glared at the girl.

Drania glared right back, "You knew they were there? Why should I trust you when you wouldn't even tell me that little bit of information." Drania then continued to pack, keeping her bow close at hand and an eye on the strangers. "Angel, come!" she said firmly, and the falcon cam and landed on her shoulder. She was finished packing, with one last glare at the stranger she shouldered her pack and started to walk off.

D'ran and Sundavar only stared at the shade called Raign then at each other. "How did he find out?" D'ran asked Sundavar. Sundavar rolled his eyes and said, "Maybe it was from all your talking." D'ran glared at the wyrms reply and flitted out to the shade. "You know to much for your own good," He said as he flew by, "Horal, come on." D'ran placed his dagger back in its sheath and flew off in the derection the maiden went, calling Sundavar without looking back. Sundavar lanched off his perch and circled the shade before following D'ran.

Raignl looked at Drania. "Maybe I would have told you if you would have asked." said Raign with a smug smile as the lady walked off. "maybe I should follow her" he thought, then turned to the others "you can follow me if you would like." then started to sneak off.

"Hah, your a clever one aren't you?" Drania said and rolled her eyes stopping in the middle of the road. "Wait, why are you following me?" she ask the sprit-kin as she noticed him.
Then, all at once her falcon noticed the other bird.

as the white falcon flew at Horal, Reb raised her hand and the bird stopped in mid flight. " Not a well mannered bird is she?" Reb asked, then sat the bird down at the girls feet, and released it.

FYI: i didn't say she flew at him, only that she noticed him.

Drania picked up her bird and stroked her, "Quite a show off aren't you?" she said raising one eyebrow. She soothed her ruffled bird and realesed her into the air.

No I am not. I just am used to using magic in every day life." Reb answered.

Suddenly as if out of the very air they were breathing came a crash, then an explosion. "What was that?" asked Raign turning his head toward the noise, then out of the brush came a dark red demon, it's skin smoldering showing that it had just arrived into the human world. "well what an interesting occurance." said Raign as he drew his blade, and rushed the demon.

OOC: Finally! something interesting! lol

Drania started to say something curt to the girl when a sudden crash startled them all.
"What the...?" but she was cut off by a sudden demon coming out of the woods.
She gasped, and drew her bow pointing it at the strange creature.

" Shade it is time to do your duty." Reb thought, then she lost control of her body, and the shade took over. The shade looked fierce. It was dutied to destroy demons ocaionaly, and she had been cuped up for way to long, she needed rage, and she needed it now. The shade drew her blade, that glowed bright red, and Cobalt's mane and tail lit on fire. The two rushed at the demon. Reb landed a blow on it's head. Then she put her blade away, and stood stock still. She took a deep breath, and fire ran up her arms, and legs then formed the shapes of vipers, and curled around the demon. They constricted, and squeased the demon, and lit it on fire.

D'ran sat back and watched the fight with glaring eyes. Sundavar and D'ran looked at one another and flew to the sky. D'ran flew until he reached a cloud. The cloud was dark gray and lightning flashed all around, banging with the thunder. Sundavar cried over the sounds, "D'ran, its now or never! If I stay in this cloud to long I'm going to be fried!" D'ran heard the wyrm's words and began to play a song. As D'ran played, the cloud compressed around the sprite-kin and the dragon. Lightning flashed faster, crackling and turning the water in the cloud to steam. Thunder boomed and rolled. D'ran's song stoped abruptly. In Sundavar's place flew a great five headed being much like a dragon, each head being a diffirent color, red, white, black, blue and green. D'ran jumped on the dragon's back and attached his body to it and fell asleep from over charge. Sundavar's new body turned a head to make sure D'ran was fused in the right places before charging down at the demon. Sundavar swung a great claw and missed the demon by inches. The demon counter attacking with a foot to Sundavar's green head. "This body cannont fight like my own." Said Sundavar's blue head in a mighty voice. "Perhaps I should try to fight another way then.But how am I to do that?" Sundavar thought quickly then called to Raign and told him to jump on.

" Would my magic help?" The shade asked, then put it's hands together, and a ball of white fire rose and landed on the dragon. The dragon lit on fire. " That is Rebs power source, I still need mine to fight." the shade said then fought the demon

Raign leapt upon the five headed being, and pointed his blade to the demon, he then called upon the invisible water spirits in the air to douse the demon's fire. The demon yelped as his fire turned to smoke, and the forest was once again safe. "Well I stoped his fire from spreading now we only need to take care of the beast." said Raign to his companions.

Drania just stood by and watched them, annoyed, but in awe.
Magic is a deadly tool she thought. Drania put her bow back around her and ajusted it untill it sat confetably. She went over and stood where the monster had been.

Ghansor was walking down the trail that lead to a group of strangers. He was glad that he had made Sinak go up in the air for now. His weapon was close to his leg in case he needed to pull it out. "So hello fellow travelers, what brings you this way?" Ghansor asked.

Reb gained control and turned to Raign drenched in water. " Good job raign but you doused my fire as well." Reb said spitting out some water, then smoke came off her. She laughed, and shivered.

"Just passing through." Drania said as yet another stranger entered the clearing.
Where did they all come from, since when do so many ppl gather in the forest? she thought.
"Now if you will excuse me, I really must be going on." Drania started to continue down the trail

OOC: I'm making an order, plz try to post when it ur turn only. If some1 doesn't post for like 3 days the next person can take their turn. new ppl, just jump in.

OOC: That's going to take forever though.

IC: "Well I'll be off, don't want to stay too long in this forest" said Ghansor and left to go on. He went deeper into the forest where the shrine was.

OOC: ok fine, we don't have to do the order, but don't just continue the adventure with 2 ppl posting right after each other, that isn't fair to the other players

"Thats probably a good idea" Drania whispered to herself as she watched the stranger walk away.
She glanced back behind her at the others wondering if they were going to follow her again, then shrugged and continued down the trail. I should be able to reach the next town by tommorow if I pace myself right, she thought. I'll need to stop by a river or stream so I can wash my hair. Perhaps there will be some work there for me.

Ghansorl kept along to the opposite way of where he said he was going to. "I'll get to the middle of the forest where the shrine is to do the offering." said Ghansor. "I'll get the human I left in the brush and take it to the middle for the offering and then true power will be mine" said Ghansor and kept on.

OOC: ok since no1 is posting...

Seeing the others were not following, Drania shrugged and continued down the path. It was around noon now, but she could not stop for a break because she had already wasted so much time.
She hurried her pace to a jog and set off. I hope I can make up some time before dark she thought. She looked around, gathering in her surroundings as she jogged. That when she noticed the bushes along side her, twitching with movement...

Ghansor was close to the middle of the Forest. He was about to gain true power by offering up the body he carried in his arms. "This body will give me the power to destroy all my foes and allow me to kill all" said Zayl as he walked deeper into the forest.
