Once upon a time, there were a bunch of stragglers online. Then one had a brilliant idea, and all the others flocked to it over the next six years or so. But what made this one idea so extraordinary, it brought everyone else here?

What were we all like back then?

What was our motive by joining SF?

Well, here's my story: I found SF while looking for an eragon avatar for my avirtualhorse page. I clicked a pic, and ended up here. At first I was like, "my current parents don't allow chat" and then I was like, "I'm going to join, if only to piss them off". Then I suddenly made a goal. I saw the DR rank, and thought, "I want to achieve it. Achieve it, then I'll quit". Then, something unexpected happened: I fell in love with the site. I made a better goal: Get to D rank within my one year mark on this account.

Unfortunately, that will be impossible, but I may be able to do it by my two year SF mark. I wanted to be like SJ. Sadly, I'll fail, as I'd have to make more than 30 posts a day, every day, until February 20th.

But I did it for the challenge.

And my personal confessions? I personally though Kotorchief owned the site andAalex was a mod up until this past July. :oops:

True story. I also swore this would be the one place I'd never get muted or banned from. I'll be darned, it's only happened once. Over a misunderstanding :lol:

Makes me feel better, knowing it wasn't the admin being sick at me. And finally, this site served, along with Vroengard Academy, as the inspiration for Wac Forums.
