Hrothgar was too tall. And in the book Hrothgar wasn't a magician, but in the movie he closed the rock wall behind Saphira when she landed inside the cave before Ajihad and Hrothgar with Arya on her back.

Saphira didn't grow full size in like 2 seconds magically, she grew over a long period of time.

eragon's armor was scale armor in the movie in the book it was mail.

They didn't follow the book and it was too short.

urgals didn't have horns and they weren't ugly enough

PS In the book it was under the the dragon hold that eragon killed durza and arya broke the star rose which is the floor of the dragon hold to get down to eragon. What do you mean by 'in the ir'

Roran left home to escape being sent to the army.

Katrina isn't mentioned.

Fathen Dur isn't so tall that dragon's can't fly in.

They do but they are more hills than mountains.

Eragon wasn't saved from the shade mind attack by Oromis.

Brom is killed by Durzza not by the Ra'zac

they crippled basically everything that carrys the plot fowards.

but ı think they can correct all mistakes by using small memories scenes from eragon

I think that they got a low budget.........

What went right with the movie would be a shorter answer.

Everything was wrong saphira's scales were feathers, she grew to full size in seconds, no werecats, and so many more that it would take me all night to write them all.

Q: What went wrong in the Eragon movie?
A: Everything :S

Alright, I may start an uproar here, so please I ask to control yourselves. I was barely able to when I found out what I'm just about to tell you. . .

Eragon the Movie, was an intentional SCAM! A fraud to get at the money of the hundreds of loyal inheritance fans out there.

How did I found this out?

I watched the bonus features on the (Relatively rare) Eragon Special Edition DVD. It turns out, the artists and animators were not only fans of the series, but had originally made it so that a LOT MORE was to the books!!! With 5 full deleted scenes that top it all off.

Two of the scenes involve Katrina! One talking about Roran's relationship with her! (Though even Katrina is messed up slightly, she has brown hair instead of red)

One scene had Elva! Her full blessing, and ERAGON'S MISTAKE in the Ancient Language was in it! (Though Saphira didn't place the star mark on her forehead, Eragon did.)

Another was a scene with epic foreshadowing. Murtagh admiring Zar'roc while Eragon slept, saying the phrase "I could get used to this. . ."

And last introduced new characters that played an important role in Eragon. . . THE TWINS! And apparently out of all the characters in the movie, these guys were the closest to the books. Bald, scary, ominous looking, mischievous, and robed in purple and gold. The scene was about them investigating Eragon's mind (The only mention of searching into a mind in the whole movie!) when he was found by the Varden. Though, looking back, their shrill voices and posing were kind of overdoing it. . .

Though, after I saw these scenes, I looked at the documentaries and unfortunately found the truth that sealed my hatred against the director, screenwriter, and producer. The animators had put everything they had into making it like the books. I shall list some of the things that they were going to put in. . .

Arya had pointed ears, emerald eyes, and black hair.
Saphira looked more like a shiny-scaled dragon and less like a feathered dull chicken lizard.
Her appearance greatly insulted me.
The Urgals had horns and grey skin, and did not look like sweaty fat men.
The Razac were going to look like the Razac in the books. Not bug-mummies.
And the plot was going to run more like the books.

But what did the dastardly trio do? They took one look at the concept art, the animations, the propositions, all the hard work that these guys did to make the best movie of all time, and said, "We don't like it. Do it over."

*screams on the inside* And even worse, the freaking director turned to the camera in an interview and said on this subject, "I think it fits better that way"

Honestly, I want to dump a great big steaming load of dragon dung on this director to prove my point. Are you asking for volunteers on who will be doing the dumping? Hehehehe. . .
