 Sony Vegas 8.0 Pro, Vegas Movie Studio, Vegas 7.0, etc... Okay if anyone is good with Sony Vegas (Pro 8.0 preferably) I could REALLY use some help. I am so bad with it. I'm trying my first avatar amv with the program and it is SO complicated. For one, how do you add effects?  And is it possible to merge two different audio clips so that they sort of blend together and flow from one audio to the other?
I'd really appreciate it if someone could help me out since I am completely clueless

Your not just able to sick to audio pieces right together underneath your timeline? If you cant you may need to combine the pieces in another program like virtual Dj..... i dont know if this helps at all but....
as for the effects, there isnt like a drop down menu for them, Like under insert? that would be weird if there wasnt... but you can also use the programs help .... it helps me sometimes when im clueless like this lol

Re: Sony Vegas 8.0 Pro, Vegas Movie Studio, Vegas 7.0, etc... Yeah I did stick the two pieces together under the timeline but you can sort of tell where the gap is, I don't think there's a way to merge them all that much. At least with this program.
There's this whole thing of effects but if you add them to a clip, it's just a still picture. So I figured out that you have to go to the clip and click the little effects symbol on it in order to access the effects directly from there...
I kinda gave up already though. It's just....too hard....lol. But my sis (Arya) downloaded some other program...Adobe Premiere Elements 4.0. Apparently it's a lot simpler, like WMM, only it has some really good effects. But thanks for the help elve king
