I found out on http://www.brisingrforums.tk that Eragon's true name is supposed to be Du Djúnr Vferna. A guy who claims to be CP's cousin told us, but he could be lying I guess. He says it is supposed to be something like Utgard, Helgrind, and Ellesméra combined. It means the Striving One. Cool huh?

Is it possible that if Du Djúnr Vferna is trully Eragon's name; would CP simly change that name -- you know because the fans is already knew, when it suppose to be a secret until the book released ?

well i think it depends on the personality of the cousin... maybe he was jealous... or maybe he just liked to gossip or something... really if he was bad or good.... but i think CP would know if he could be trusted so... its quite confusing...

I can't get what's the big fuzz around the true name anyway..?
To us at this point it's pretty much meaningless, because it is the STORY of how Eragons gets the name and how could and/or will use it makes the thrill in the book and for us.
No stop fooling around and believing stuff every other "cousin" or "a close friend" tells us all the time.
In my ideal I see this forum more as a place for to disguss the books and details from them, not to drive around gossip all the time...

I once found out what my mom was giving me for my birthday, so I wasn't really excited about it when my birthday came around. She got sad because she thought I didn't like it. And it was this really cool bike. I found the reciept for it, in case you're wondering. It was like, 4 yrs. ago though. And next Monday is her birthday... I think I'll go brainstorm on what to get her...

Hmm..the name sounds really neat actually! But if Cp were to let a few people know about Eragon's treu name, don't you think they would keep it a secret and whatnot until the final book comes out. I wouldn't have thought that someone would have told anyone, if that's supposed to be his true name.
