In Search of the Varden

Star was up above scouting for danger. And Cobalt was lollygagging behind with Shedo and her pup. Reb breathed in the mountain air. She loved to smell the untainted air of the mountain. Unlike all the other places the mountains didn't harbor a lot of citties like the other parts of this land. No it was somewhat serene. And Reb loved it. So did Zantya. Reb heard a sound and looked back to see Cobalt bitting leaves off a tree branch. She rolled her eyes at her horse and then walked to him and dragged him behind her by his reins. He protested loudly and soon Star asked what was wrong. " He dosen't want to stop eating. He's such a pig." Reb answered and she could hear Star's chuckle. Reb looked up as the black form of Star Gazer soared higher over the mountains. She smiled up at her dragon and then slowed down as she came to a ridge and looked down into the valley below her. " We're here." Reb called up to her dragon. They had reached the village they were stoping at. " I'm coming." Star said and a few minutes later the ground shook with her landing. " Is the varden near?" Star asked. " I'm going to go down and ask around. You stay with them." Reb said indicating her wolves and her horse. She then made her way down the steep incline and began her decent towards the village. When she reached it it was like her presense made everyone disapear. No one would come out of their homes and she soon knew why. " Star." Reb called and slowly backed towards her dragon. The twelve kull smiled evily at her. She drew her sword.

He grabbed several Kull with his claws and angled back up, tearing at them with his jaws until there was nothing left but a torso with stumps where the heads and legs used to be. He hoped the surprise would be enough for Reb and Star gazer to dispatch the rest of them. _________________ I LOVE SAPHIRA :D:D:D:D "The worth is in the act. The helpless girl will not live." The kull said angrily and drew his sword. " Surprise." Reb said and black fire hit him full in the chest and he fell back with a shriek of agony. More fire killed the rest of them. She looked up to thank Faenfir. Star launched into the air and went after him. A smile on her face.

Mabe I did and Mabe I didn't." Star said smiling. " Your gonna have to catch me to find out." She said then did a back flip and sped off. Reb laughed as she saw her dragon. She swung onto her horse and then trotted after her. Her wolves running beside Cobalt.

Come now, you have taught me everything you know AND I'm faster than you. No response. Faefnir shook his head, then took off after Star. He quickly caught up with her, but couldn't quite get ahead. Every maneuver she tried pulling on him, he simply copied. Hm, you seem slower than usual, darling. Not all I know." She said and dove under neath him and into a forrest. Hiding herself from his sight. She knew she wasn't slower her was just faster.

Why not use your eye? Because I can still miss things. Even you miss a lot. Besides even if I see someone they would be long gone before I got there. Aeraldi looked across the land, not much to see other than mountains and more mountains. Something moving, something large. He realised it wasn't just one but two. Two dragons flying through the trees. Each one attempting to outmanoeuvre the other. That looks like fun! Thought Aeraldi. How can dodging trees be fun? Nothing a fighter like you could understand. Aeraldi angled down towards the two, swooped past the large golden one and flew towards the direction the others were flying, twirling through the air like a delighted hatchling who had only just discovered they could fly. _________________ For though I move on, I will always remember you I-L-S. " Alright try this one on for size." Star muttered and launched herself in between two trees that she barely made it through then swerved through five more and then went high above the forrest and then suspended in air she waited for him to catch up.

Thought Aeraldi. He put on a burst of speed and weaved through the branches that the two larger ones couldn't. He flapped as hard as he could and managed to catch up to the black dragon. (Yes its star gazer.) Come on another black one. Could be just like me! For our sake I hope not. Aeraldi flew behind the large black one and let his energy return to him before overtaking. _________________ For though I move on, I will always remember you I-L-S.
