- By learning from the different races of the world (See history), Keralin has learnt the art of patience with his smithing and can smith any piece of armour of any density for any race of the world.
- Also for his travels around the world (See history) Keralin has learnt swordplay, archery and hand to hand combat from the different races and has adapted a style all of his own. Keralin has also crafted a sword for his person only.
- By fighting with his weapons for so long Keralin has developed an extra sense for where his swords are and where his enemy's are.
- His elven heritage has helped him with casting spells as the pact between Dragons and Elves has increased his magical potential. By speaking the ancient language for the better part of his life Keralin also has an extensive knowledge of the language. However his knowledge is not perfect and his strength with magic is not the best.
- When visiting a certain castle in his travels he watched other swordsmen use poses and postures. By paying a substantial amount of money and completing a few favors he was trained in the use of certain stances when sword fighting in order to achieve maximum mobility and defense. He developed a few of his own later on during his journey.
- Although hesitant to admit to these powers before Keralin can use Dark Magic which is extremely powerful yet comes at the cost of his spirit. Unlike Nilarek, who can force the damage of the soul of other beings, Keralin cannot as he gave up that power after being separated from Nilarek.

Character Personality: Keralin is a very easy person to get on with. When he's walking around he's usually alert but apathetic. His eyes would be a daylight sky blue. When in battle though his emotions can change dramatically from deep anger to laughter (With his eyes; anger is darker while laughter is lighter). Keralin likes people who fight to protect, to keep fit or to just have fun. When talking to him he speaks unemotionally unless you have said something that offends him. Keralin is a good natured person in that he will help someone in need if he can, however when he must he will do unspeakable things. Keralin would do just about anything to stay alive, even if that means killing a couple of hundred people. However he is very quick to anger if something bad is said about Aelir. His knowledge about a few subjects have very large holes, however he is always eager to learn. During his walks on the ground Keralin would most likely walk straight past you unless he senses an air of dishonour about you.

Character History: Keralin was born in Osilon a town West of Ellesmera. As a boy he was taught how to live honourably and without fear. During his adolensence he displayed a curious affinity for swordplay, he stayed near the duelling grounds for most of the day watching all the fighters. When he came of age he was presented with the dragon eggs, however none hatched for him. A hundred years or so passed and he grew bored with his surroundings, so he decided to travel to the other parts of the country. Under the protection of the dragon riders, Keralin was able to travel about the land freely. But what he saw dissapointed him, there was nothing particularly special about the land that the dragon riders took care of. So Keralin decided to go past the borders of the lands known and find a completely different society. He took a boat and sailed past all known territory.

He returned about 200 years later, a couple of months after Galbatorix had taken over. Keralin was a changed person, he had gained over the course of his travels fighting and smithing skills from all the different societies that inhabited the planet. He also became leaner and more resourceful when he had to take care of himself after a teacher had "roughed him up a bit" as he put it. When walking in The Spine he came across a man, who looked like he was running for his life. Keralin stopped him and asked what the problem was, the panicked man struggled from Keralin grip and muttered something about "They're coming". Keralin thought if they were the guards then he would hand the man over, but if it was bandits then he would defeat them. He held his grip on the man and stood his ground. The man pleaded with Keralin that was he was carrying would destroy Galbatorix. Not knowing who Galbatorix was Keralin questioned the man. The man told him of what had happened, that Galbatorix, an evil dragon rider, had destroyed all of the Dragon riders and taken control of the Human's land and also the elves old capital. He showed Keralin what he was carrying, a dragon egg. He told him that the people after him were Galbatorix's servants and wanted to kill him and take the final remaining free Dragon egg. Deciding quickly Keralin told the man to give him the egg, that he could hold it safer than anyone. Not believing him, the man said that if he could defeat the monsters that were after him, then he would give it freely to him. Accepting that, Keralin sat and waited while the man hid in a cave covered by bushes. Not needing to wait long, Keralin heard the sounds of wings approaching. In order to make his presence known, Keralin let out a battle cry that would unnerve even the most battlehardened warrior.

The mighty beast landed in the midst of the forest, barely a stone's throw away from Keralin. Dismounting, the creature looked hidious, a cloak covered his... It's face and body from being recognised. It walked with a slight limp and a highly arched back. Keralin had heard about these creatures from the older elves when he still lived there. They were called the Ra'zac and held no sympathy for anyone but themselves. Keralin said that if they wanted the egg they'd have to get past him first. The Ra'zac thinking it had an easy feed drew its sword and stared at the intruder, made a remark about not seeing an elf in such a long time and charged. Keralin easily defeated his enemy and killed it. The beast it was riding on roared and hastily made its escape. The man reappeared and reuctantly gave over the egg. As soon as the egg touched Keralin's skin, it shifted. The man looked at Keralin in an understanding gesture and left quickly. Keralin held the egg for a moment, then held onto it tightly and ran northerly, hoping he could get to the land that Galbatorix's men would never search. Outside of the empire's reach.

As soon as he found a place where there was a hiding place he sat down
and rested. Looking at the egg he discovered a crack running down it. His childhood memories came flooding back, of his first run down the eggs, of the dissapointment of not having one hatch. The egg gained more cracks in the shell, and finally opened to reveal a new born blue dragon. Not knowing what he should do, Keralin reached out his hand to the dragon and let the dragon accept him. As he reached out his hand the dragon nudged his hand as if testing it but as soon as the dragon made contact with his skin a chill went up his arm and engulfed his entire body. Falling onto his back frozen Keralin lay in searing pain, of the like that he had never felt in his life. A few minutes later he rose, his hand marked. Remembering his lessons from his mother and father about taking care of dragons, Keralin pretty much knew what to do. After giving the dragon some food it fell asleep. Picking it up gently, Keralin then made his way further north where not even the most cunning wolf would find them. For 5 years Keralin and Aelir made their way throughout the land, learning what they could about Galbatorix's plans and history. What he learned infuriated him! Galbatorix had actually stolen a dragon and twisted it to his evil ways. Keralin learned from an early age that a dragon's life was the most precious thing in the world. During this time, Keralin helped Aelir become a strong, noble and honourable being, while Aelir taught Keralin what the flawed thinking in his beliefs were. At the beginning of the sixth year since Aelir hatched, they returned to the land to rid the land of injustice and cruelty.

Whilst they flew back they encountered a group of fighters, Eriel, Emrhyst, Star Gazer, Reb, Faefnir, in the forests for Du Weldenvarden. He could sense they were honorable and decided to stay with them in their fight against the forces of Galbatorix. During their quests Keralin found himself changing, that he was more bound by emotion than by logic. He began to defend them and all who opposed Galbatorix with his heart and mind. Soon though he began to fall in love with another rider and dragon, Eriel and Emrhyst. When running from a force of Lethrblaka he and Eriel faced them and found themselves in love. The bond between them was unbreakable then, and Aelir discovered his true destiny when he found the final remaining Twilight Sister Crystal.

A year passed with them going together, and while hunting a wanted criminal, Eriel became pregnant. When they returned to the mainland they had the child Hayren. Aelir and Emrhyst also had an egg which hatched for Hayren. Keralin now lives to protect Eriel, Emrhyst, Hayren and Taliear. He also seeks to destroy his evil manifestation, Nilarek.

Weapons: Keralin has two swords crafted from the most pure metal that the world had to give. Forged by the flames of his dragon these swords have a deep personal meaning to Keralin and Aelir. These swords were made by Keralin for himself only, they are 1 meter in length, slightly curved, with a dragon curved around the handle with a Diamond curled in its tail at the bottom of the hilt.

Likes: Honourable people, swordfighting, smithing, the colour blue, generally being with with Aelir, Eriel, Emrhyst, Hayren and Taliear.

Dislikes: Dishonourable people, death, threats, Galbatorix, insults about dragons or dragonkind, insults or threats to his loved ones.


Character's Physical Description: 1.77 meters tall, Athletic, Muscles in good condition. Wears an armour that resembles Dragon scales with a helmet fitted to look like a dragon's head. The armour has a bluish tinge to it. Walks with a slight limp on his left side from where he was struck by a Draconian spear.

Dreams for the Future: To annihilate Galbatorix, to enojoy a life of change and sword duels. To ensure a safe future for Hayren and Taliear as well as a safe life for himself and Eriel.

Reason for Dreams: Galbatorix is a dishonourable opponent who only wants to amass power for himself. He stole a dragon and twisted it, the greatest insult for Keralin. Keralin enjoys change and considers sword duelling a rare pleasure. Because his loved ones are the world to him and he would not be able to struggle through the challenges ahead of him without them.

Nowhere does it say that this forum is based on American English. Also, the creator of the forum's first language (I think) is French. In the language selection screen, it just says English. I'm sorry for posting here- I'll go now lol.

Um. Nowhere does it say it. But everyone goes with the english spellings. And the key word is predominantly. I didn't say it was official, I just said that they should use the american "meters."

Very good! I have one thing to add nothing too big. Change numbers to words? like 200 to two hundred. You never see that in books really is all Awsome bio anyway! hehe sorry for being here, I just came to gloat at the fact that the only language option in board preferences is now British English. LMAO! Ok, now I'm off before the RPG Team b1tes my head off... oops, a taste of me own medicine. ok, bye.

Edited Aelir to male. Not affecting any story plots or character personality. Nobody seemed to be able to get it right that Aelir WAS female so i changed it so everyone was right.
