Character's Physical Description:
-HUMAN: As a human, Ese is tall for his age and makes him look at least five years older. He stands confidently at 5'9'', with pale, almost bleach white skin and ebony eyes that seem to sparkle and glint every time the light hits them. His hair, the main color being silver/gray, has natural black and white highlights in it and is extremely short, barely leaving his scalp in tiny spikes - so the highlights are barely noticeable. Underneath his stealthily misleading meager human appearance, Ese wields the strength of dragon, even in this form. Behind his ears is a set of gills, invisible to the naked eye unless pointed out. Underneath his ears is rough skin, almost like scales reside there. Other area's on his body where this is found include his entire back, forearms and forelegs. He practically always keeps himself covered, not just for that reason, but because large, thin dragon wings reside on his back. He has the ability to press them against his back to the point where they're barely noticeable, being the same color as his skin, even when he wears a shirt, because they aren't that big. Just big enough to carry him through the air. Their length amounts up to about four-five feet each. His bones are nearly unbreakable. His skin is ice cold to the touch.
-DRAGON: Eteo has a long, skinny body, almost like a serpent's. His arms and legs are long and skinny as well. His talons are white and so are the three sets of horns lining the sides and back of his head - two sets on either side of the back of his head and the last set is small, lower on his head, right underneath his jaw bones where they each protrude from either side of his neck. There are also two extremely small ones below his eyes, like stubs (completely harmless). At the end of his tail is a large, plate like shield. Extremely thin and lightweight but nearly unbreakable. It's in an oval like shape, but the tip has three points (I hate it to compare it this way, but think of it as a spork shape with the tip of his tail in the middle). This shield can deflect practically any attack, to an extent, and can even bounce back a few. His wings, like his body, are long, thin, and skinny, but they're still large enough and powerful enough to keep him in the air. His scales are cold to the touch, like his skin, and being silver the way they are, reflect the things around him - like a mirror would - often causing him to look invisible even though he's not. It's just a form of protective camouflage; one of the many unique traits the Mirror Dragon earned it's name from.

Likes: Solitude; swimming; the cold; darkness; just a little light; butterflies.
Dislikes: People; too much caring; heat; too much light.
Weakness: Anything heat related, like the sun and fire. (nocturnal, because of this)
Fear: He fears one thing and one thing only: breaking. He's afraid to lose his mind, or lose himself or a part of himself in any sort of way. If it's a part of him, it needs to stay apart of him. 'Breaking' also includes showing emotion. Showing emotion, in his opinion, is a sign of weakness. And it's all right if other people do it, he just doesn't want to do it and feel vulnerable. To put it simply, change scares him.

Character Personality: Quick witted, extremely sophisticated, and even a little selfish, Ese's personality borders the line of robotic, almost. He doesn't feel, or want to for that matter, because emotions are often the downfall of many great fighters. He believes he literally has a heart of stone cold ice, because he can't seem to feel anything for anyone, even when he's tried to just see what it felt like. He's quiet, not because he's shy, but because he chooses to be reserved for his own and others safety. His words are often unintentionally harmful because he tends to state blatantly obvious facts about people. Truthfully, it's not that he doesn't care, which he kind of doesn't, but it's that he doesn't know any better. Growing up, his mother spoiled him with all the love in the world but not even that could truly reach him. But he never really did anything wrong that needed her to correct him, especially since he didn't spend much time around other people. Avoiding people is how he's been going on for as long as he has been without being captured or eaten or made into a 'friend'. He believes people all too easily trust others and doesn't believe in friendship. He believes that if a person comes along and you end up caring about them to an extent where you'd take your life for them, then good for you. He just wants nothing to do with that load of bull. He has strict rules and laws that he himself made and lives by. Even though he is somewhat open minded, he tried hard not to upset the balance of things. He has a strange way of thinking. So strange, you'll just have to meet him to truly see.

Home Village: He's not sure where he's from, but he lived mostly within or around Du Weldenvarden growing up, which gave him great protection from interaction with too many people (which he isn't too fond of).

Alignment/Side: He prefers neither, but if it comes down to it, he's kind of selfish: he's on the side of who ever is winning.

Character History: Being the son of a Mirror Dragon and a Mage, there was absolutely no way to tell what was going to happen with Ese, if he was going to even survive for that matter. When he was born - as a human - he was pale, lifeless, and cold to the touch and was so silent that Kira, his mother, thought he was dead the moment he'd been born, until he finally opened his eyes. Ese, as a child, never cried, never complained, and never misbehaved. He did all of this willingly, seeing absolutely no point in acting out. He was smothered with love from his mother while growing up with her in Du Weldenvarden, to the point where it made him physically sick to his stomach. On top of that, he never enjoyed playing with any of the other children he seemed to come in contact with. Not only did he look so much older than them, he seemed to obtain some sort of insane reaction that ranged anywhere from running away screaming to calling him names and trying to put him down, mentally and physically. The attempts were futile, of course, because they held no affect against Ese. But it was the fact that he looked and acted so strangely, compared to other people. He knew he was different, and he accepted that with no problem. But he began to truly wonder about himself when he discovered his dragonic powers at the age of six.
It started out with breathing ice that didn't seem to affect him when he blew on himself. Then, at one point, he found tiny little wings embedded in his back and had to take great care to not let them be seen by anyone. About the time he found his wings and began to practice with them daily, his skin began to grow scaly and he noticed his five senses - sight, smell, sound, taste, and touch - began to grow more acute and the world's horizons seemed to grow a little brighter. He began eating more and more because three or four times a day was just simply not enough. Not with the amount of food humans normally ate. And eventually, as a few years went by, Ese found that his body had begun transforming at the oddest of times. Randomly, his ear would become scales and pointed or his arm would suddenly become thicker with muscle and scales, claws where his nails should've been on his hand. He had to hide all this from his mother until it went away every time. When he finally gained control over it, he figured out to shape shift into a dragon fully. It was very hard at first, but being the fast learner he is, he soon got the hang of it. But he wasn't the ecstatic child that someone would expect him to be. He simply accepted it, like he did most other things, and went on with his life.
---Ese was conceived in a way that was thought to be just myth. In a different land, somewhere far, far away from Alagaesia, there is a land where there are the ruins of a city where the inhabitants were known as Mystics and Mystic Serpents. The Mystics were actually people, much like the Dragon Riders of present day Alagaesia and the Mystic Serpents were simply dragons with the word 'mystic' in front of their names. The major difference between the Dragon Riders and Mystics was that, truly, there were no single bonds between any single dragon and human. Every Mystic and every dragon that resided in the city were all a single bond, protecting each other, the city, and the special stones that grew naturally in the caverns and catacombs that surrounded and trailed throughout the city and underground. The stones were special, allowing dragon and Mystic to mate without physical contact simply by touching the stone at the same time. In turn, this created an off breed of human and dragon they called, back then, Androdracons. Which, in Greek, literally translates to "Man-Dragon". The Androdracons weren't able to mate, even with other Androdracons. It was a sort of defect in their system, they just couldn't feel for another creature to that extent and 'bond' with them. The city was destroyed in a great war, but there are rumors of the Mystics' existence still today, protecting what is left of the stones and city underground in a sort of Utopia, oblivious to everything happening above ground.
Nerir, Ese's father, had previously been a resident of the city. And before it was destroyed, he'd taken one of the stones from the cavern he guarded and kept it as a sort of token of remembrance before fleeing the land. He never let go of the stone. Until he found Kira years later in the land of Alagaesia. Their 'bonds' were so strong the instant they met, Nerir 'mated' with her by giving her the stone as a necklace, and thus, the small stone worked it's magic and conceived little Ese. Sadly enough, Nerir died of an 'accidental' rock slide before Ese was born, leaving Kira to raise him on her own and to keep Nerir a secret from Ese.---
Other than himself, he never seemed to care for anyone else. It was as if he couldn't, like his heart was frozen. So, when he turned twelve and his mother passed the special Mystic stone down to him, explaining to him of its secrets, he explained to her why he needed to leave home for a while, if not forever, and she didn't argue. So, he went off in search of a new place, perfect for him, to start a new life. Learning from experience, he quickly found that avoiding Hadarac Desert was in his best interest if he ever wanted to travel across Alagaesia again. But eventually, he settled down in the Beor Mountains, where he frequently and randomly changes the caves he resides in. He's not sure why he does this, exactly. It's instinct. To keep from anyone possibly tracing him back to the child from Du Weldenvarden - who was extremely well known because of his 'specialness' - when in dragon form, he goes by the name of Eteosin - Eteo for short. But he tries hard not to shape shift into a human, these days, unless he's heading into a village or something. But even then, he tries hard to avoid the need to do so.

Skills:
-Fear Factor: Mirror, Mirror, On The Wall, who's the scariest of them all? Eteo. This is an illusion-like ability. Eteo can search any creature's mind, almost silently, and use magic to mirror their fear. Downfall to this is that Ese's presence seems to send a cold chill down someone's spine when he enters their mind. He can only perform this trick twice a day and up to five people at once, max. The affect lasts up until the person either faces their fear and extinguishes it as an actual fear or Ese himself stops it. Example: If a thug's worst fear was a twenty foot long spider, then Ese would use his magic to make the thug see something that was truly not there. His Illusions are so realistic, he's even startled himself a few times, accidentally triggering the Fear Factor while asleep and causing his dreams to become a little too realistic for comfort.

-Ice: Basic control over Ice. Instead of fire, he breathes air that freezes anything the comes within two feet of it instantly. Testing it's strength, Eteo has experimented with his freezing air and rounded its degree to about -10, at least.

-Shape Shift: This is simple. It's Eteo ability to simply revert himself back into human form and vice versa.

-Copycat (Dragon Style): With this ability, to put it simply, Eteo can shape shift into any person or object he wishes and mimic and throw any voice or sound - if he's heard it at least once - like a ventriloquist. Throwing your voice means that if he's a mile away from you, he can growl and make it sound like he's right next to you. He can do this as much as he wants any time he wants. As for the shape shifting into different people and objects and what not, this takes a lot of energy from him and he can only do it 2-3 times a day. And on top of that, he can only hold the transformation for a short amount of time (say. . no longer than an hour).

Animal Companion: None, though he seems to have an unusual fascination with butterflies. .
