Roran didn't join the army, he left home because the army wanted him to join, and he was running away so he wouldn't be forced into joining.

It emphasizes the fact that Eragon cares about who he wants to heal, and adds more magic to the movie.

A scar looks more realistic and impressive than a shiny oval.

i could go on and on with questions...i was quite dissipointed with the movie...having read the book and everything...anyway, here are my questions most are rethorical but just thought i'd get this little rant out of my system.

there are loads of quedtions b out the film u just gotta forget them and just watch the movie. i rekon they just cut out the bits that went nowhere like teirm coz all they figured out there is that the raz'zac are hidden in dras leona and that wasnt reli needed along with other stuff.

i like da movie it was great!!! lol

they did cut out all the nitty grtitty parts but htey cut out the good parts too. like the Urgals getting boiling tar poured on their heads!!!

and how are they gonna make up for Elva!!!! are they just gonna take her out of all the movies??

urm urgals gettin tar poured ova there heads isnt exactly the thing to put in a pg lol.
In the second movie we figure out where ellesmera is(i just figured out that this is a real place lol) and in the second movie(if they do one) eragon will go there as that takes up most of the second book.it doesnt matter that they mist bits out coz they can still carry on the story becoz they still have the main story.

but how can they make up the katrinna thing. that starts the ENTIRE 3rd book. THey go to find katrinna and rescue her. they cant make up for that!!!
and i was talking about we dont find out Arya is a princess untill the second book. that messes everything up...

not reli coz its not reli reli important bout arya being a princess coz we'll still see the relationship between her and her mother so its not reli that bad.

well when they are basing a movie on a book as popular as Eragon they should try REALLY hard to follow the book as closelly as possible. THey cant just thik, well it SORTA follows the same story line so everyones gonna love it and im gonan be rich!!!!!!!!!
ok maybe not the rich part but look how the lotr movies turned out. really long BUT EVERYONE LOVED THEM!!

and they only spent four months fimming. how can they do that with a story of this maginitude and expect it to live up to expectations of people who acctually read the book?

I like the movie too... Yah, I know it doesn't follow the book at all, but the movie itself is good in my opinion^^;
