Somebody told me it did happen, I think IMNC did. He said that the family and him had a fight and that family stole his sword.

Scarecrow, I lost count of the times I have read the books and heard the audios. I can categorically assure you, no such thing happened in the book. It may have taken place in the realms of IMNC's imagination. But not in the books.

Probably, he most likely made it up to make me believe something. Oh well, then how is he going to get his sword then?

IDK. In Shurtagal Carnoc made a pretty extensive analysis on this and other topics. He seems to think the other sword being Eragon the 1st elves, thus being this one to be for Eragon. And somehow it doesn't fit, cause these swords were from fallen Riders.

What happened to the swords of the fallen riders? Did Galby take them?

Then can't Eragon just get the sword from that family?

That would kill off the theory off the theory that he'll get the sword or "weapon" under the Menoa tree which people seem to think is Brom's sword.
Me, I keep questioning, "how on earth would Brom's sword end up under the roots of the tree" when we know he needed his sword. That's the reason he returned to Ruhnon for another one in the first place.

that's what I'm going with. it makes more sense than someone burying a sword.

Yeah, that is true. It doesn't make any much sense to bury a sword.

If the elven families have two swords recuperated from the Wyrdfell, Eragon would then not receive Brom's sword. Clearly Brom was not a "wyrdfell".

I know, the Wyrdafell took it from Brom and they never gave it back to him.

Could be, then it does not belong to the "wyrdfell' as we have been led to believe. Deceiving huh?

Yep, they'd have to give it to Eragon I guess since he does not have a sword and he needs one, maybe he could tell them that he'd borrow it and bring it back or something if they don't right away give it to him.
