 Bridge to TerabithiaI know, it's an old(er) movie, but it's absolutely amazing.
I just watched it earlier tonight and it blew my mind. Almost literally. I can feel my mind rocketing around in space somewhere right about now. The movie, basically, is that two kids become best friends when the girl moves in beside the boy. The girl's parents are writers, the boy's hardworking folk. Different minds. The boy's a genius when it comes to art. The girl befriends the boy, they go exploring the boy's property, and find a creek with an old rope across it. They cross using the rope and the girl starts making up stuff as they go, and soon the boy sees it too. They spend their afternoons in this area together, in Terabithia, as they come to name it, and the girl shows the boy just exactly what can happen when you open up your mind to absolutely anything. There's more, and for those of you who know, you know, and for those of you who don't, go watch the movie, but I'm not about to spoil it. What happens after the synopsis I just gave is probably what seals it for me as the best movie made in the last ten years. _________________ "You can do anything if you set your heart to it." -Keitaro Urashima |

Re: Bridge to Terabithia I watched this in theaters but we never bought it, Wasn't he an Artist and her parents writers or something like that? The ending was nice, like the last 30 seconds (I think, it's been a while
