Siblings: - Kaorin has no blood relatives, which is why it was so importan to keep her safe. With her adoptive family she had a younger brother named Kiren who died when he was five.
Character Personality: Kaorin leaves an impression of being very guarded and indifferent. She is never afraid to make a smart remark and displays alot of masculine behaviors. She seems unconcerned with what is proper and very determined to do whatever she wishes. She is very quiet in her defiance, however, and when she does speak it is almost always sarcastic. But on the inside, Kaorin is very mild mannered, and meek. Her outer personality is simply a facade she uses as a defense mechanism. She feels her whole upbringing was a wool pulled over head and she demands of herself to never be fooled so again. In this respect she is very immature, unable to see the fact that she was just a child and couldn't be expected to see that much of her surroundings.

Character History: Kaorin grew up in a small fishing village to a family that was neither rich nor poor. Her life for the most part was peaceful and she spent most of it playing with the boys in the village. When her Kirin died, Kaorin was but seven years old and she mourned for him deeply. That was when she picked up archery and discovered she was a natural. After she won the contest her life changed immensely as her parents began to talk about things in low voices. Soon two guards from the Varden appeared at her door and her world crumpled beneath her. It seemed she'd been taken from her Varden parents, or rather given away when she was a child because her uniqueness had been so obvious. Her white hair and grey skin were not only unusual but extremely frightening. They didn't know if it was a curse or a gift but her parents loved her too much to keep her in danger at Farthen Dur. When she was reunited with them and her skills were shown with the bow, her history showed no sign of any misfortune she was embraced. The first year was good until she realized that she'd been sent away out of superstition and she began to second guess the affection of her true parents. However she wasn't allowed to visit her adoptive ones because she had a duty to fulfill. When she was 16 she was instructed to touch a dragon egg and she did, a deep bronze colored one which rocked even before she got a chance to touch it. She trained with her dragon until she was 18 then she was permitted to leave Farthen Dur at will.

Weapons: Crossbow. A gift from her adoptive parents. It's wings fold so that it fits in a holster. It is thin but has tremendous power. It shoots two types of arrows, short dart like arrows and long hunting arrows. The short ones are sharper and can pierce mail.

She was given a sword when she became a rider, although she didn't really want it. It has a gold blade and a black handle with scales engraved on it. The pommel is round.

Likes: - Kaorin loves to song and poetry. She loves her Dragon, of course and she loves travelling.

Dislikes: - Anyone who pretends to be someone they aren't, probably because she does that and because her parents were never who she thought they were. She hates meat and only eats vegetables since she came to the varden

Animal Companions: - she loves talking to animals in the ancient language but has never subjected any of them to follow her. Everyone and a while, a familiar bird will land on her shoulder or a rabbit will hop along and follow her.

Character's Physical Description: Kaorin has odd grey skin, white hair and a beauty mark above her lip. She has graceful features, hypnotizing eyes and a straight nose. She wears light colors, and favors a gold hooded cloak. She is 5'5 and wears high boots. She weighs about 129.

Dreams for the Future: - Kaorin isn't yet sure what she wants to do. Being a rider changed her life so much. She will tell people that being a legend is all she wants but in her heart she wishes to raise a family in a small village like her hometown.

Reason for Dreams: - Kaorin just wants to relax and have a normal life. Not that she isn't greatful about being a rider, it's just alot of responsibility she doesn't think she is ready for.

Alignment/side: - she has pledged fealty to the Varden.


Dragon Name: -Goliath
Age: - 200 years in the egg, 3 years out.
Gender:-Male
Parents:- Glaedr and a wild female dragon named Yurima
History: Goliath came to the Varden in the posession of a mysterious traveller. He stayed with the varden for nearly seven years, telling them stories every day as a ritual. When he left he left the egg he'd been carrying for about 15 years prior. Goliath was touched by every varden child and many warriors but none could hatch him.
Personality: Goliath is very, very, short tempered. He is constantly using his size, because he grew very fast and very very big, to intimidate anyone he can. He is very protective of Kaorin and he demands that she ride whenever she can. Goliath has a soft spot for animals even those he must eat.
Colour: - He is bronze with golden claws and horns
Appearance: Goliath is very, very large, taking after his father. He stand about 30 feet and his wingspan is nearly 100. His huge ivory teeth are sharp and forboding and his horns are worse. His body, though, isn't as wide as it is long, he is snake like with very pretty amber eyes.
Armour: (if any) - The varden gave him full body armor but he rarely wears it.
Dreams for future: - He eventually wants to mate but he wishes to be a mighty warrior
Reasons for dreams: - He can be very conceited and proud because he is a dragon and wants to help keep them in glory

Hey. I can't fill in for the RPG Team, but just a few suggestions while you wait. First, "Varden" isn't a race. Races are things like Human, Elf, Dwarf, etc. The Varden would be your alignment. You also gave us two reasons that she had been given away. First, you say that it was because her parents didn't know whether her being unique was a curse or gift and that they were frightening, then that there was a superstition. You should also decide whether her brother's name is "Kiren" or "Kirin." You have it spelled both ways. You also should fix the sentence that says "When her Kirin ied..." I'm also wondering whether the childhood you describe is before or after her adoption. I'll just assume that since her brother, who is adopted, died, this is after. But you also leave us wondering questions like "What contest did she win?" You just need to elaborate on the points of your history overall. The rest of the profile looks good, except for a few typos here and there ("every one in a while" is the one I notice the most, and also note that Varden is capitalized when your talking about the place.)
