Sometimes it is okay though then again it can get a little chaotic with homework and annoying evil people.

LOL, actually yes. sometimes if we don't get stuff done by 3 (my cut-off time, made up myself, lol)
I have to do Xtra stuff, and sometimes I have to do stuff on the weekends.
I don't get as much as u do though (I think)
Right now, "weekends" for me are Sun-Tues.

Fronzz, how can you not call yourself lucky? We start school ( erm... real school- not that homeschooling isn't real, but you get my meaning) at 8:40am (and I know they start earlier in most of America too) and finish at 3:25pm. And I have to wear a SCHOOL UNIFORM!!!

How much time do u actually spend in class tho? or at lunch? And homeroom..ur supposed to study while u have that, not fool around like most ppl do.

I like some things, but hate others. I like band, english, biology, lunch, and going home. I hate going to schoo early (here I get up at 6:00A.M. est and school starts at like 7:25A.M. est), geometry (although it is one of my best classes), and history. I'm not sure about gym or latin yet, because I start those Friday. But I also end biology, and study(if I didn't have any homework it was pretty good, cause I just used to sit around and do nothing) Friday . I also like when my 4th period teacher is out, because then we get to go to all 3 lunches .

lol, I love PSHE. Mainly because I sit next to a friend, he is the funniest person I know. Each week he has something new he's taken from science (the lesson before PSHE) last week it was a pair of goggles, which he sat there wearing, this week it was a timer, he's seeing how long it can stay on lol.

our teacher takes half the lesson to turn up, its great. its best when no1 turns up to take the lesson, which happened today in spanish

And silver rider, I live it when that happens! One PSHE lesson a couple of years ago nobody turned up, and there were things flying all around the classroom!!! We ended up with glue sticks stuck to the clock and ceiling, chairs and tables upturned, and some guy firing a staple gun! That was the funniest lesson ever. You wouldn't expect that from a top set, huh?

I'm homeschooled and I hate it. Period. I enjoy every minute I'm out of the house and with friends and I'm slowly counting the days till college.

School is okay... it has its good and bad days ^^; Being a senior in high school is sure fun.

I'm sick of school. I want to skip a year and go to college and take a course in graphic design and make little things out of plasticine And I just got a letter saying I'm in the National Academy for Gifted and Talented Youth because I'm in the "top 5% of achievers", and I don't want to be in it, because I don't want to have to do anything, but my mum won't listen and she thinks it's great

hmm... I was thinking maybe something to do with animation. Or designing book covers sound cool lol. But I've seen the course and decided to take it because it covers a wide range of stuff, so I can make make my mind up then.

I hate school. All the homework and crap, it's just a bunch a stress and stuff.

I know this sounds weird but I don't mind school. Most of my friends are school friends. Yeah, I'm a really high acheiver. Anyways, there are three things I HATE though: 1.Waking up at 6 so I can get to school at 7:40 2.HOMEWORK!!!(I swear teachers think we have no lives) 3. Critical Thinking, my teacher is INSANE!
It's not that bad though other wise, it gives you an excuse to read, you meet a lot of cool people, my orchestra teacher is AWESOME!, I love math, science, and geography (I know, I sound crazy right about now) and it gives you something to do.
Now don't get me wrong, I would much rather be reading or turning my brains to mush with computer games but school isn't that bad.

I completly agree with the above though. Before winter break, I was up til 11 nightly because I had: Cello practice for an hour every Tuesday, Track practice usually 3 days a week for an hour, S.A.T. prep sessions (It's something you can qualify for in 7th grade) for an hour every Tuesday and Thursday, Soccer practice Monday and Wednesday for an hour and a half.
Plus, my Language Arts teacher went crazy and made us write an essay about topics like "Who is your hero?" everyday for homework. I was so stressed out!!!

Ugh, We had the reading FCAT (Florida's state wide test) yesterday and we had the math FCAT today.
Anyways, I just got some huge academic news. I'm in 7th grade. Back is January, I took the SAT (it's a big nation wide high school test) to prepare me for how hard it will be when I take it as a senior in high school. You can get a total of 1600 points on it but that is practically unheard of. Anyways if you meet a certain qualification you can go to this big college camp. To give you some perspective, my 18 year old brother, after much tutoring and other stuff, got a 1280, which is pretty good. Well yesterday I got my scores from January, I got a 1150! And I'm a 7th grader! I got into the 79% of all the high school seniors! I got better scores than most of my brothers friends! Wow, I'm amazing, just kidding, lol.

Ohhhh my God. I don't even want to get STARTED on the SAT. I'm in 7th grade too. Although here we have reading and math sections, but also an essay section, making for a total possible score of 2400. I got a 1978. That is about 1318.7 on the old one with a 1600 top score. I took the SAT back in December.

My state is pitiful though. Percent of high school seniors I beat in each part:

Math-77%
Reading-82%
Essay-89%
