"I don't know." She whispered. Eriel looked at Emrhyst and started nudging her with her mind. After that futile attempt, she turned to Feafnir, "She will be alright, I just hope Star and Reb get here soon."

Emrhyst jolted upright as she felt her being transportated in the air. Eriel let out a laugh, Relax, its me. Emrhyst snorted in amusment and roared as they saw the mountain coming into view.

As the pair landed in their quarters, Eriel let out a sigh of relief and lay on her saddle. She closed her eyes and thought about the previous days. Urgals on the mountain, shades near the fortress, and she thought, just thought, a black rider on a black dragon.

Faefnir looked at the green jewel with interest. Star, what is that for?

OOC: basically, a pass turn. I couldn't do much with what I was given.

OOC: Oo Tks for the diamond LOL Ima put that into my bio.

IC: Eriel smiled and accepted it gratefully. Emrhyst looked at the diamond and marvelled at its size. Eriel, help me put this on. Eriel looked at Emrhyst and noticed her eyes. They were shining, almost white. And then she noticed her own. She laughed and climbed up her spikes and placed the diamond between her ears, like a helmet.

Emrhyst laughed as she saw the two sisters. It was quite a sight to see a five-hundred year old dragon playing with a hatchling. Eriel stayed on the spikes for awhile then spotted a dark cloud ammasing. She continued to watch it, silently hoping it would not be hostile.

A cloud... A dark, dark cloud... I have a feeling Galbatorix is making his move now. It speeds towards us without the aid of the wind. Emrhyst watched it intently.

The three watched it for awhile. Then Eriel exclaimed, "Dragons!" Emrhyst looked closer, sure enough, The faint outline of a battle-armoured dragon could be seen. Emrhyst bared her teeth. Get the hatchlings to evacuate. Its no lone dragon, its an army.

Emrhyst looked at the dragons and noticed one with a rider. Then, another one came up behind it. Blood red, along the deepest shade of black you could imagine. Eriel sensed Emrhyst's discomfort. "Galbatorix... Murtagh..." She saw them draw their swords now, she measured the distance, "Seventeen leagues." Emrhyst growled, Its a challenge.

Eriel smiled and nodded then drew her green one. Sunlight glanced off its blade onto the rocks, illuminating them. Emrhyst roared at the army who were starting to form a ring. Eriel looked at Emrhyst then mounted her.

Emrhyst looked at Shruiken and growled then flew over to Murtagh. Eriel dismounted and helped him get back up. "Leave the mountain, I will not be so friendly next time we meet." She mounted Emrhyst and flew back to the mountain dragons.

The two looked at Feafnir and Star then followed behind them and stoped at their room entrance. Emrhyst released a friendly growl, Can I come in?

So this is how the royal chambers look like. Emrhyst craned her neck to see the ceiling but all she saw was the sky. She continued to stare at it then lay down. Eriel then spoke, "So... what will we do now? We should take this opportunity to evacute the young and the extremely old here. Those that can't fight in other words."

Emrhyst looked at Eriel with eyes that seemed to be able to burst into tears anytime now. Eriel shuffled her feet then said, "Alright, we'll stay here." Emrhyst looked up (Or is it down?) happily.

Emrhyst curled up to make a bed for her rider who quickly laid down. Eriel yawned as she entered the trance-like state. She stared at her memories as she walked between them, both happy and sad. She looked upon the face of her dragon the day it hatched and thought herself lucky. She sighed as she got up the next day and made a mental note to visit that avenue of thoughts next time the entered the trance-like state.

Eriel stared at the rising sun. "Will I ever see it again." She thought to herself, then armed herself with her sword, bow, dagger and all. Emrhyst looked at her for a second then turned her attention to the horizon. They come soon. You can already smell them. Eriel strung her bow and held it in the ready position. "It would be nice if we had afew rangers here." Emrhyst grunted. So it would.

Eriel shook her head. "What happens after it apears? I don't think it'll be able to disspear back into thin air." Emrhyst craned her neck and saw Moon leading the young ones out. She smiled at her and was surprised when she returned it. Such alertness... Eriel turned towards StarGazer and asked, "By the way, what d'you mean by 'other good things'?" She smiled dangerously.

Eriel whistled. "Well i'm sure we'll survive this then." She looked upon the mountain dragons then turned her attention to a dark cloud ammasing on the horizon. "They are here, and i doubt they'll like our answer." She laughed with steel in her voice. Emrhyst roared at the oncoming army and was pleased to see them hesitate when the mountain dragons joined in. They will not take the mountain! Eriel spied Galabtorix and Murtagh raising their hands with their palm outwards and moving closer. "They want to parley. "Eriel looked at Feafnir, what is your command?"

Eriel released an arrow at Murtagh while he fell. She frowned as it was deflected by wards. She mounted Emrhyst and fle winto the fray, shooting shafts of arrows at the oncoming fire-breathing lizards. She laughed as she noticed they could not retaliate then yelped with Emrhyst as thorn nipped her tail. Emrhyst glared at him then lunged after him.

Thorn and Emrhyst exchanged many deadly blows, their riders grimaced as a hit landed. Seeing as the battle would not turn out in favour of her dragon, Eriel got Emrhyst to land. The lizards formed a circle around Murtagh and Eriel. Murtagh muttered afew indecipherable words under his breath. Immediately, time seemed to slow for Eriel. When she came out of it, she found Zar'roc through her chest and grimaced as Murtagh pulled it out. As she fell, she felt him lift her and carry her back to the mountain dragons then flew off with Thorn under him. Emrhyst nudged her rider.

Eriel groaned as she climbed onto Emrhyst's back. Her chest was cold and numb, as if a poisoned ice dart had pierced it. Emrhyst looked at her rider worridly then flew off to the slopes of the mountain, raining fire onto the lizards desperately trying to climb it.

Eriel looked at Feafnir worridly. 'This isn't fair, A rider and his dragon against only one dragon.' She told Emrhyst privately. Emrhyst thought deeply then smiled, Its Okay, its Feafnir we're talking about. Eriel laughed and fitted an arrow to the string and took aim for a lizard.

Eriel shouted, "Wrong O king Galbatorix," She pronounced 'King' with a mocking tone in her voice. "We get the Empire and you hanging from the gallows!" Emrhyst roared in agreement then both she and her rider's eye colour changed to such a deep shade of green it could almost pass for black, they merged their minds and charged Galby.

OOC: pass. can't think of anyway to break through Murtagh yet

Emrhyst flew under Shruiken's belly stuck stuck out a talon, effectively slashing open his belly, it was made worse as Eriel plunged her sword into his abdomen, lacing the blade with blood. She smirked as Shruiken roared in pain.

OOC: How many wings have you ripped off in all the Rpg's we're in so far? I count 3. ouch.

IC: Eriel smiled almost evily as she saw Galbatorix convulsing in pain at all the blows Shruiken was receiving. With a start, she chastised herself, 'No, I will not let my eyes turn black.' She frowned as Shruiken lunged at her while faling from the air. Emrhyst whacked his head and he fell the opposite direction. She playfully asked Star, Wanna play some Volleyball?

OOC: that's actually a cool move. It suits Star gazer very well. good thinking. how did you come up with that?

Emrhyst roared in delight then whacked one of her tail spines into Shruiken's abdomen, blood spurted as he flew back to Star Gazer, Nice fire works... She thought before whacking Shruiken on the head again. She laughed as Shruiken uttered a weak growl of warning.

OOC: Rofl, so now I've got volleyball style. What next? Net ball?

IC:Rider and dragon's eyes turned so light it could pass for white. It was fun, we should do that some time. Emrhyst laughed. Eriel stood on the peak of the mountain, she could vaugely see Galbatorix mustering his army and Shruiken whimpering next to him. She shrugged and walked back to the dragons.

Eriel ran towards StarGazer and Moon as soon as she heard her roar. She choked as she saw the poor creature's wings all torn up, blood all over her. Feafnir, you better get here now... She told him then knelt beside Moon. "Just wait here, Feafnir will be here in a jiffy." Emrhyst landed next to Eriel soon after.

Emrhyst looked at Star Gazer for a moment before saying, I'll help, Star mustn't die or the whole fortress, and you, Feafnir, will crumble."She linked her mind with Moon's, her rider did the same. With one voice, they said, "We're ready..."

Emrhyst laughed as she saw Moon fall asleep as if nothing had hapened. "She's so innoncent..." Eriel commented, before falling asleep on her dragon's side. Emrhyst looked at her rider then fell asleep, curling her neck around her rider's body.

OOC: I'm gonna have to go away for nearly a week. Star, would you be so kind as to post for me?

OOC: well, never mind. I guess it's my turn now.

Faefnir chuckled as Moon fell fast asleep despite the torture she went through. He gently tucked her in with Emrhyst and Eriel, then turned towards the battlefield. Come, darling. However morbid, we must bury the dead and heal the wounded. Unless you wish to return to the cave?

OOC: lol, i didn't think you were so fond of me. rofl. so who should play Eriel's character?

OOC: Star? Will we wait for Eriel to return or do you want to play for her?

OOC: You don't have to I'm back.. and waitin for the results.

IC: Eriel woke with a start, she felt a cold wisp of air pass overhead. she strained her eyes and vaguely saw Shruiken in the distance, whimpering in anger and agony. She smirked and followed Star.

OOC: huzzah! the Rider Eriel has returned! this is basically a pass turn for Faefnir.

Faefnir decided he would nurse the wounded. Eriel, Emrhyst, could you two help her out? If you see any fatally wounded, bring them to me. I will be right here.

OOC: Pshh.... call me Eriel

IC: Eriel frowned as she heard Star's and her parents conversing over something so trivial and yet making such a big deal of it. "Its as if they're trying to demorilize her after so much bloodshed..." Eriel thought in disgust and shot an arrow into granite rock. 'Thud' Only the feathers and a little bit of the shaft could be seen, around it were varying sizes of granite.
