Eriel and Emrhyst (As an Eldunari now)
Name: - Eriel
Age:- 147
Gender: - Female
Skills:
Archery: She uses this skill better than magic. As a ranger, she attacks from a distance and rarely gets into close combat, making this one of her primary skills. With magic, she is able to amplify the power of her arrows by supercharging them with power.
~Pre-release She usually only charges her arrows with fire, water, wind and earth before she releases Alcioraell as the other spells involving light, darkness, electricity and others require much more power than she would like to use without having a reason to kill.
~Release All hell usually breaks loose when she combines her magic with her archery. One can see the power literally flowing out of her hands and into the arrows. At the epitome of her strength, a multitude circles with the runes found on the door of her mind surround the arrows she fires and are so bright it masks all other light save the sun's at noon.
__________
Magic: Her skill in archery is bested only by her skill in magic, particularly fire, ice and wards. She uses magic almost as much as she uses her bow and is able to conserve her energy better than most.
~Pre-release: Her ability before Emrhyst is released is not as offense oriented as after Emrhyst comes out to play :P. She specializes in wards and other defensive spells during this stage.
~Release : Her ability during this stage is at it's peak. While in this stage, her eyes are completely engulfed in green flames and she becomes more reckless as she stays in this state. She becomes very aggressive and, with Emrhyst backing her up, becomes an even more powerful force to be reckoned with. In addition, all of her spells cast in this stage take on the shape of a dragon. __________
Swordplay: Of all the three skills she uses this is the weakest of all. It is considered average by elven standards, worlds apart from the above two skills. When used in conjunction with magic however, this skill usually becomes the bane of most enemies she probably wouldn't be able to defeat.
~Pre-release She normally fights with a form of swordplay she calls the sighing butterfly which involves circling the opponent while gradually overwhelming their defenses by striking them with light but fast blows. She uses a hand until she finds an opening in which she plunges her blade through her opponent with both hands.
~Release During this stage she normally begins to use her bow or spear. When she decides to use her sword however, she fights with the ferocity of a dragoness, using both hands and powerful blasts of magic to kill. __________
Spear: She can turn her sword into a spear by extending it's hilt until the weapon is as tall as her. She is rather skillful at this and can make it longer to be used on horseback.
-Dismounted-
~Pre-release She holds her spear with both hand and generally moves in a horizontal direction and uses quick jabs with a random mixture of both soft and hand blows to confuse her opponents.
~Release She stands at a ninety degree angle from her opponent with an open hand facing him or her and her spear held vertically upright in her other hand. She uses broad sweeps and strong thrusts to overwhelm her opponent with a hand before using her empty palm to deliver a blow of electricity to her opponent's circulatory system, shocking him/her to death.
-Mounted Her spear attacks while mounted are generally the same: wide sweeps and jabs to those under her. When Emrhyst is released however, she throws in some magic or two in between attacks. Also, the blade itself it wrapped in a covering of emerald which explodes upon contact, dealing severe area-of-effect damage to anyone she strikes it with. The latter ability can only be used once per release though.
Race: - Elf
Hair: - Waist length cardinal red hair.
Eyes: - Predominantly green. Her eye's colors are affected by her moods as well.
Home Village: - None.
Parents: - Father; Earist, Mother; Erian (both deceased)
Siblings: - None
Character Personality: With broad smiles and a light heart, Eriel is a typical extrovert, with the uncanny ability to befriend anyone not hostile towards her. The Elleth is protective of her friends and she is warmhearted towards them, being naturally wary of their foes. Unlike other elves, she shows her emotions to others easily, allowing her to win the trust of many a stranger. Her love towards friend and mate outweigh even her loyalty to her country, and she is willing to sacrifice life and limb for them. Hating the Ra’zac with a passion, she has hunted and slain many of these foul beasts; a payment she feels does not equate to their shattering of her life when they, over a century before, killed her father and childhood friends. Equally hated by her are Galbatorix and his dragon for torturing her friends and dragon. Fostering a deep resentment and a hatred whose depths reach beyond hell itself, the elleth has sworn to kill Murtagh and Thorn for killing her bonded dragon, Emrhyst. All living, sentient creatures suffer at the whims and fancies of emotion. Eriel is no exception. In contrast with her bubbly, happy personality, her down times are either very mild, or very severe. When she undergoes a mild episode, the elleth normally gazes out into the horizon with teal eyes. It’s the more frequent of her down times, thankfully, for her potential for violence during her severe down times are large and catastrophic. One would do well to stay away when this happens unless one has both a back-up plan and an escape route.
Character History: Eriel was raised in a village five miles into the forest, near the south-eastern border of Du Weldenvarden. She spent her childhood there, and would remain in the village for forty years. If she had had it her way, Eriel would have been more than happy to stay with her family forever; unfortunately, fate didn’t have the same mindset, and Emrhyst hatched for her, whereupon she was sent away, as was the custom, to Ellesmera for further training. As a child, the little elleth grew up watching, in fascination, the bow at work. Her father oft times brought her to see the local bow stringer, and since she was a babe, Eriel was amazed at how the bow bent and curved at points; how the string endured the overwhelming strength of the wood; how the arrow so cleanly sliced through the air. Her mother was an accomplished archer, coming in champion of a bi-decade archery competition three times in succession. She was well-respected amongst the general elven population for her skill. Needless to say, Eriel often dreamed of possessing her mother’s skill. So great was her enthusiasm that her mother was literally bowled over by the young girl when she gave Eriel her first bow. It was a most uninteresting, basic bow, made of greenwood and string, but it worked nonetheless; and this gift inspired the elf to greater heights than she could have ever dreamed of. From then, her mother taught her to shoot, and the elleth, although never out loud, made a vow, to someday best her mother. When she was seventeen, the elleth's fascination with the bow began to be shared with close-combat, and the elleth went to her father for guidance. His paternal instincts kicked in straight away, and Eriel distinctly remembers being told, rather loudly, that ‘no daughter of his would ever fight up close’. The elleth stalked out of the room, tears brimming ever so slightly at the edge of her eyes. Her mother, seeing her thus, had a talk with her father and came to a compromise that would leave Eriel’s body temporarily marked with bruises and grazes. She had to hit her father’s head or torso twice with a wooden sword, and once with her limbs. The elf was overjoyed, for a minute. Then she was brought down to her knees a total of seventeen times by the sword, and more than thirty by her father’s hands. Fortunately for her, she was resilient, and soon, Eriel was able to read her dad’s movements, striking him in rapid succession. She grazed his forehead with the tip of the blade, bruised his thigh with the flat, and then struck him on the solar plexus. Sweaty with exhaustion, father and daughter couldn’t believe that Eriel passed. Holding on to his word, Eriel’s father then agreed to teach her how to use a sword. The elleth, despite all the bruises, was elated. Her training only went on for about a year or so, because the Ra’zac came in the night and attacked the village, killing all but the youths who, thanks to the brave last-stand put up by the adults, were able to escape to a neighboring village further north. It was thanks to them that this village was prepared, and thus able to repel the raiders. A pity, for Eriel had only just managed to get a hang of the sword and hand-to-hand combat. Yet perhaps not so, for it was this village where Emrhyst’s egg was sent to find a rider. There, elf and dragon bonded and were sent to Ellesmera for training. Close to five years later, Eriel finally mastered the skills left unfinished by her father and was declared a full-fledged rider. An elven-smith forged ‘Du Vrangr Evarínya’, a sword as light as it was hard with a hilt made of white gold and a sapphire set in its core. Its light green blade matched the color of Emrhyst's scales and had the cutting strength, at its forte, to down an old thick yew. The sheath was no less magnificent with a white sheath match the color of the hilt adorned with gold trimming. The elven glyph for arcane set near the cross of the sword set in dark green and the blade glows when in contact with Eriel's Gedwëy Ignasia. As a parting gift, her mentor-rider gave Eriel a dagger made from a steel and brightsteel alloy. It had a blade twenty centimeters long, covered in ancient glyphs enchanted with the power of protection to render the blade resistant to breakage and notching. During her third year of study, Eriel was instructed, like all other students, to go out near the border and pick a certain plant. She was given two months to complete the assignment. It took her less than two days to get to the spot where said plant grew and she spent almost six weeks searching for it. When she finally did, the elf made the return journey home. When night fell, rider and dragon made camp in a clearing. Unknown to them, a group of kull had managed to slip past the outer defenses and were in the vicinity. The fire made by Eriel quickly alerted them to her presence and like thunder were quickly upon her. It was a fierce fight, and the elleth soon found herself surrounded and fighting for her life. It was tough, but the rider managed to kill all of them, although not before sustaining a long gash on her left thigh. It would, as she would find out later, pain her most severely when near hostile shades. She met Star Gazer and Faefnir during a desperate battle on Uru baen. Appearing to defend her friend Rebecca, the elf quickly found herself doing battle with Galbatorix, who made quick work of her. Fortunately, Faefnir was able to save her from death. She became fast friends with the four of them and, through Emrhyst, became part of the royal family of the dragon fortress. Her life changed for the better when she met Keralin on one of her skirmishes. They quickly found each other likable and soon became close friends. Eriel herself started having feelings for him, but was too afraid that her feelings would not be reciprocated by him. On a certain occasion, Eriel found herself in the vicinity when Keralin was being chased by soldiers from the empire. It was this incident that led the two of them to be stranded on a deserted island. Following a certain chain of events set up by Emrhyst, the elleth finally confessed to the elf, who, to her relief and elation, reciprocated her feelings, eventually sealing the bond when he made a child with her.
Weapons: Her sword, her bow, a plain white dagger as well as the pendant around her neck.
~Emrhyst. Renamed in honor of her dragon. The blade of her sword is a bright shade of green and is three feet long. (About 1 meter). The guard is a horizontal bar of silver and diamond that tapers upward slightly at both ends. Set in its center is an emerald that allows her to store energy. The hilt is a solid diamond polished over several years and plated with gold. It is covered in feathers from a dead swan and specially coated with a solution to make it suitable as a grip and to protect it from wear and tear. When transformed into a spear, the blade takes on an emerald covering over it shaped as a teeth-baring dragon.
~Shooting star Her bow is a gift from her mother and is made of mahogany. It is reinforced with vines and bears a gold trim on its edges to allow magic to course through it and so increase the effectiveness of her arrows. It has plates of bright silver on both its front and back to allow Eriel to use it as a temporary defense against attacks. The string is made of cellulose toughened and made flexible with magic and is almost impervious to damage.
She is able to form weapons out of magic when the need is great enough, and they are able to harness and use multiple elements. For example, she could form a bow made out of electricity and arrows made out of fire to both electrocute and burn her opponent.
~Twilit Dusk Her pendant, while not a physical weapon, houses the eldunari and essence of Emrhyst. It is shaped as a dragon with the eldunari set in the center and is hung on a silver chain around her neck, under her robe. The pendant itself is a murky green color and is protected by wards which kills all, except those whom Eriel allows to, who dare to take it from her.
Likes: - The royal family. Hayren and Taliear.
Dislikes: - Galbatorix. Ra'zac. Za'roc. Murtagh and Thorn.
Animal Companions: -
Quicksilver. Quicksilver is Eriel’s Stallion – a replacement mount for Emrhyst after she died. He has a white coat and a grayish mane which bursts into a light blue fire when he is agitated. His eyes are green like Eriel’s and his head comes up to hers. All in all he is a larger than average horse, but not so large as to attract unwanted attention. Like all elf-ridden horses he is only guided by the Ancient Language and not by bridle or saddle.
Abilities.
---> Swift Foot Quicksilver is a very fast horse, owing to his size, and is able to keep up with most dragons.
---> Sentience Quicksilver, being an elven horse, has a certain degree of awareness. He is able to communicate with Eriel through various signals and telepathic prods.
---> Inner Fire
Due to him being taken care of by a rider for an extended period of time, some of Eriel’s magic has affected him and allows his mane to burst into fire, at the same time increasing his size and speed to be able to match even Star Gazer in the air.
Character's Physical Description: Eriel has long cardinal red hair that falls down to her waist. Her eyes are predominantly emerald green. She is 5’7” tall and has been graced with an hourglass figure. She normally wears a blue dress with sleeves reaching her elbow, hem hanging slightly above her knees. She wears a shirt of soft leather emblazoned on the front with a dragon over her robe as well as teal pauldrons made of brightsteel. Above all this, she dons a greenish, grayish hooded cloak. She carries her sword, Emrhyst, on her left hip and her dagger on her right. On her bosom, hanging on a chain is a silver necklace shaped as a dragon. It houses Emrhyst’s magically shrunken eldunari in its center. She was over overlooked as just another elf in the past but recent events have brought her some degree of infamy amongst her enemies. Her irises change hues in accordance with her mood. It turns a brighter shade of green when glad and darker when enraged. It can also turn turquoise when saddened. Her eye colors sometimes turn white, black and even blue depending on her mood. When sufficiently enraged or provoked, regardless whether it was self-induced or not, it may reach a point when small green flames appear on the edge of her eyes. While in this state, her prowess as a magician manifests itself in its entirety. After several decades of training, she is able to limit, to a limited extent, the power that is shown. However, all things have a limit. After a short time or if enraged further, the flames will spread until they cover her eyes. Eriel then reaches the epitome of her arcane strength but will fall unconscious after two minutes due to precautionary wards set by herself. This leaves her drained and totally defenseless and the elf tries to avoid entering such a reckless state of anger. Unknown to most, the indlvarn has a long scar on her left thigh that glows dully when hostile shades are near. The scar on the whole is faint, and although it doesn’t feel sore when rubbed or touched, the pain experienced by the elleth is undeniable if the skin if broken.
Dreams for the Future: - Being a good mother.
Reason for Dreams: - Is there really a reason for the above? :P
Alignment/side: - The Royal Family.

Hey. Nice to see someone new for the RPG.
First thing.. (In appearance) "People who do not know her take her lightly though the people do knows better than that" is a little confusing. Can't really tell what the second half is supposed to be, but just fix it. Next, "her mind is more powerfull than the average elf or human so that when she thinks hard enough" is a run on, do something with that please. "etc. War tactics, riddles.. the veins on her head bulge up giving her a very "OtherAlagaesian" look." Et cetera always comes at the end of a list, and just means "and more." So technically, your sentence says, "thinks hard enough and more war tactics riddles..." The periods after riddle need removed and replaced with a single comma. The comma after queen neesds to be a period. Finally, in "Little do they know off the skill she has underneath its fair cloak," off should be of, and you call yourself an "it." (Make it she )
Moving on, weapons looks good other than that steel and longbow aren't normally capitalized. In personality, you should put a she before "smiles often" and "doesn't like getting into fights," and a she is before "always." You also need to do something to "Somtimes gets angry at.." and make it something like "Sometimes people get angry at.."
In History, "lernt" isn't a word; "learned" is what you need. Might want to say "won 3 archery competitions in a row" or something. Practice is spelled practice, not practise. Just out of curiousity, what does your sword's name mean? The wandering what? Put the word "and" in between "guard" and "caught" please. As far as traits, instead of saying "sorta like a mix between Arya and Angela," could you tell us which of their traits you have?
Overall looks good, just watch your capitalization and make sure you put at least a single space after your periods.

Eriel-You guys locked my old thread.I'm making changes to it
Added more stuff in. Edit 2: Added more stuff.
Character name:Eriel
Gender: Female
Age: 116
Race: Elf
Parents: Father; Earist, Mother; Erian (both deceased)
Skills: Very skilled with the bow and magic. Good with the sword and knows some hand-to-hand combat moves
Appearance: Long red hair, green eyes, slim, 5'7, always wears a black cloak with red trim, usually seen clad in the simple green corselet of an elf ranger along with a white robe underneath it, and she has a scar on the left thigh. People who do not know her take her lightly, much to their demise. Those that do however, know better than that. Her eyes turn a darker or lighter shade of green depending on her mood. It turns bright green when she is happy and dark green when she is angry, her eyes turn greenish blue when she is sad. When her anger reaches a certain point, green flames are visible on the sides of her eyes, when it reaches its peak, the flames cover her pupils, it is then when her true prowess as a magician are revealed. The wind around her howls and the earth under her groans. A tiara of fire is barely visible sitting on her head and her sword's blade is surrounded by two jets of water that intertwine and end up at the sword's tip in a fountain of water. After this though, when the flames finally cover her whole eye and some of her eyelids, she falls unconsious for afew days, completely vulnerable to enemy attack. Her eyes once turned blackish when Emrhyst 'invited' a few elves over to her bedroom. She screamed so loud Emrhyst and the elves dared not enter her room without her permission again. As she thinks a lot, her mind is more powerful than the average elf or human so that when she thinks hard enough, for example, War tactics, riddles, etc. the veins on her head bulge up giving her a very "OtherAlagaesian" look. When she isn't doing heavy-duty thinking however, her beauty surpasses even that of a queen. It is during this that most people underestimate her. Little do they know of the skill she has underneath her fair cloak.
Weapons: Du Vrangr Evarínya (The Wandering Star) which was made by an elf smith and an unbreakable steel dagger which she got from her mentor when she became a rider. She also carries the longbow she got from her mom and a quiver of arrows given to her by the dwarves when she visited them. The longbow has a silver trim, almost invisible, on the edges of it. The bow is unbreakable and the string never snaps.
Armor: Green leather corselet which was given to her when she became an elf ranger, black vambraces with a detachable palm guard, black shin guards and the white robe she always wears.
Character personality: Quiet and discreet. She prefers to listen to a conversation rather than join in it. She smiles often and is usually the first person people approach for help. She is always trying to surpass anyone she considers superior to her. (This however got her into trouble more than once)She also doesn’t like getting into fights. She holds a deep grudge for the ra'zac as they killed her father. She sometimes gets angry at Emrhyst as she can get really nosy. She will lie if put under a lot of pressure or if someone or something precious to her is at stake. She also gets hurt emotionally easily.
Character history: She was raised in a village on the outskirts of Du Weldenvarden for 40 years before being sent to Ellesmera as Emrhyst hatched for her.
She first learnt how to use the bow from her mother who had won gold 3 times in a row in an archery competition, when her mom died, she gave Eriel her bow, she also made a vow to practice archery till she got better than her mother.
After she was confident that she had surpassed her mom, she decided to take up sword fighting and hand-to-hand combat from her dad. Her dad was reluctant to teach her as he didn't want her to fight up-close. So he gave her a test: She had to beat him with the sword twice and once in hand-to-hand combat. After being "killed" 17 times she finally passed the test and thus her training commenced. Unfortunately, when she had just gotten used to sword-fighting and hand-to-hand combat, her father died of a raid conducted by the ra'zac. She would never master those two skills until a few years later. Since then, she has held a deep grudge for the ra'zac and swore to kill them and avenge her father.
A few years after training by another rider, she finally mastered sword-fighting and hand-to-hand combat and a green dragon egg hatched for her and gave her the Gedwëy Ignasia. One of the elven smiths forged a sword named "Du Vrangr Evarínya" which was as light as emerald and as hard as diamond. Its hilt was made of the lightest gold and had a sapphire set in it. The blade was light green and the sheath was as white as snow with a gold trim. It glows if the hilt is in contact with the Gedway Ignasia. Her mentor also gave her an unbreakable steel dagger carved with runes. Once when she was hunting dear, she was ambushed by kull. She managed to kill all but one of them, she also suffered a long gash in the left thigh where a kull had managed to slip past her guard and had caught her on the thigh. She later found out that it was a kull mage who had wounded her and that the wound would hurt when the mage or a shade was near and that it would hurt 10 times more than a normal stab.
Traits: She is kind and cheery when she's not serious. However, her mood changes from kind and cheery to solemn and rather fierce in fights. She doesn't like getting into fights. She will also lie to get out of trouble of the need is great enough.
Likes: Animals, trees... basically all things natural.
Dislikes: The king and anyone serving him.
Dreams: To kill the Ra'zac, avenge her father and to surpass her mentor.
Alignment: The elves, and anything the elves consider allies.
Dragon: Emrhyst
Gender: female
Parents: Her mother, Vallis, was as yellow as sulfur. She was killed by elves in the raid of the Stone of the Broken Eggs. Her father, eurun, who was navy blue, suffered the same fate.
Personality: Exactly like Eriel. Only listens to Eriel
History: When she hatched for Eriel, who was out adventuring, in the Stone of the Broken Eggs, she was horrified by all the carnage around her. she would've marched on Ellesmera that second had not Eriel comforted her. She convinced herself to take it out on Galbatorix instead of the elves as Eriel lied to her and told her that it was Galbatorix who did that.
Appearance: A grown dragon. She is emerald green in color, except for the tip of the tail that is blood red and the teeth and claws which are snow white. She has a huge emerald coloured diamond on her forehead given to her by Star Gazer during her visit to the mountains. She is 15' tall, and has a 20.5'wingspan.
Good traits: Very loyal to Eriel. Only listens to her.
Bad traits: Very nosy.
I hope you guys can change this, if your too busy though, maybe you could unlock the thread and get me to change it instead. PM me about this please.
