 All You Need Is LoveOOC: Okay this is my first RP with Asmis so don’t judge. To anyone who wants to join, like always. It’d be really cool if you had a male dragon… Idk why but it’d be funny…
 IC: Lilan and Amis walked quietly through the woods on the edge of the Spine near Daret. Do I have to stay out here again? Asmis whined. She’d had to stay out of all the cities they’d ever visited, so Lilan was a little irritated when she asked. Yes, she replied harshly. She was getting sick of this, Just find something to eat and get some sleep. I know, Asmis pushed, I will. They exchanged evil glares and Lilan won. Sorry, Asmis began in a sad voice, I just don’t like not meeting the people that you meet. She lowered her head level with Lilan’s and stared at her with huge orange eyes. Believe me, Lilan tilted her head, Most of them aren’t all that great… Just be careful, okay? I will, Asmis thought with a soft grin, Go on. I’ll find us some supper; you get the provisions. And with that, she leapt into the air using her strong translucent wings to thrust her body upward, I love you. Lilan gave a huge smile as she watched Asmis fly away, deeper into the Spine, and look back with the most sincere eyes, I love you too. She turned silently and looked down at the town full of bright lights and people who looked like ants from where she stood. Small tears seeped over her eyelids, I love you so much. She swallowed hard, trying to keep from flooding her entire face. She wiped away the excess water with her sleeve and sniffled. IC: Elcyon was flying over the Spine, searching for a meal. She hadn't eaten in a while, not since she was over the Hadarac Desert, and her belly was craving some deer. She was heading home and didn't want to fish so she began looking around for any signs of moment. El clutched her journal close to her chest, so that she didn't drop it as she did circles over the trees. She picked up the sounds of rustling below, a rabbit had come out of a thicket. El shrugged. It was better than nothing. With everything she had, El fixed her eyes on her prey, her talons flexing in anticipation. She did another loop in the air before folding her wings in a little and doing a dive-bomb towards the rabbit. It hadn't noticed her until too late. El broke its neck so that it wouldn't have suffered. IC: Asmis flew on deafeningly silent wings, tilting them ever so slightly to turn. Her orange eyes were shining like the sun as the actual sun deflated over the towering mountains. She tilted her wings down and slowly lost altitude as she entered the eerie fog of the Spine. Something big, she thought as her sensitive eyes scanned the area, Something nice and plump. Out of her peripheral vision, As saw a large black creature dive into a small gray animal which she figured to be a rabbit. Being the outgoing and childish dragon she was, As spiraled down to the large object as it consumed it’s evening meal. She landed loudly and realized that the creature was a dragon. Feeling more excited than before, she opened her mind entirely, Hi! I’m Asmis! What’s your name?! A mistake on her part. _________________ "The sands of time cannot be stopped. Danuvaen's mindless flights led him to many places he'd never been, one of them being the Spine. He'd seen images of it from Saphira during his time spent with the Varden, and he knew what sort of prey he might find there and where. It had been planned mere days before Fernir's death that Danuvaen and Saphira would fly to the Spine together, riders absent, and she would teach him the land. She knew it so well from her time as a hatchling, and seeing as it was so close to Uru'baen, it was imagined they may have to hide there someday. Danuvaen had never thought he'd be going not to aid the Varden, but to hide from them. After the slaughter he knew he was on trial with Nasuada. He only hoped they wouldn't find him. He didn't want to be judged, nor did he want to be pardoned and accepted back into the ranks of his new enemies. That was the last thing he wanted. Thus, he flew steadily to the mountainous region and touched down to the west of Daret. There were many caves and tall trees to conceal him here. He was safe. For the first time in weeks, he relaxed, allowing his wings to flop uselessly at his sides. He was exhausted, emotionally, mentally, and physically. He only wanted to rest. He found an indentation in the rock face and backed into it so that he was facing the entrance. He needed to be ready to escape and to fight if necessary, but he knew the dark hole would offer him some cover from potential enemies. Speaking of the devil, the wind carried him the scent of another dragon. Nay, two other dragons. For a moment he considered remaining hidden in his sanctuary, but curiosity got the better of him, for he was still a young dragon, and he didn't recognize either of their scents. He inched forward cautiously, staying downwind, until he could see the both of them. He'd already made up his mind to watch for several minutes until he decided whether they were approachable. |

My name is Elcyon, a wild dragon flying about Alagaesia. What are you doing way out here?
El was curious where this young dragon came from and what she was doing out in a place like the Spine. but it's good! At least I think so...  Asmis was almost jumping up and down when Elcyon introduced herself. She put the dangerous part to the side. She didn’t care at this point; this was the first dragon other than herself that she’d ever met. I’m here with my rider, Lilan! As began excitedly, She’s going into the town of Daret right now to pick up supplies for us! We travel all around Alagaesia too! She watched with curiously wide orange eyes as Elcyon chewed graciously at the hare. She almost broke into Lilan’s mind with the elation and knowledge of another dragon being around. Lilan walked quietly into the desolate town with slight reassurance when she saw a candle lit in a window of a house farther down the path. “Tauthr du grajzla (Follow the light),” she whispered with a smirk. A harsh, sudden push made her ears ring from inside her head. As, she thought, and forced the message to go on hold; she couldn’t think right now. Out of her right ear, through all the ringing, she listened to what sounded like the tension of a bow being tightened and ducked immediately before an arrow raced over her head. She cautiously stood back up only to dodge another to her torso. “I mean no harm,” she yelled in the direction of the arrows. A large, gruff looking man peeked out from behind a tavern to her right. “I saw you,” she said blandly. Then an entire crowd of at least sixty men came out from behind the buildings, encircling her with ready arrows. She raised her hands to show she had no weapons and sighed quietly. Great, she thought as the gruff man that had first tried to kill her stepped forward. “What is it you seek,” he pushed rudely, another arrow tense in his bow, “We don’t need more death here.” Lilan stared straight forward, as she was taught to do when speaking with one older than her, “Three simple supplies: a small knife, blankets, and a large piece of leather.” He stared at her fiendishly and walked in front of her. She didn’t look him in the eye, another thing she was taught, but kept looking directly in front of her. He eyed her every inch: posture, tall and straight; expression, flat and determined, and most particularly, her hands. They were rough with lines of dirt left in the skin crevices and scratched as if someone let loose a furious cat on them. “Are you a spy for the Empire?” he asked intensely. All of the men around her went stiff at the words. She looked at the man in front of her, scowling in his eyes now. “Most definitely not. I would never work under those illiterate, inhuman, insignificant swine,” she cursed, showing all of the hatred and discomfort she could out of her eyes. The man stared at her deeply, “… Alright. I believe you. But that doesn’t mean I trust you.” “And I you,” she said in the same serious tone as his. “Sit,” he forced, “We’ll get you your supplies. How many blankets?” Though Lilan didn’t like the idea of not being able to get the list herself, the man obviously wouldn’t have it any other way. She sat quietly, her hands still in the air, “Four.” He glowered over her, “That’ll cost you, you know. You don’t get these things for free.” “I know,” she spat back, “I have enough.” They fought with their eyes for another moment, then he finally let out the order, “Get this girl a knife, four blankets, and a large piece of leather.” When they just stood there, he resorted to yelling, “Go!” Everyone dispersed into the town to find her the supplies. She was unsure of why all of them were so protective. They must be having some problems, she thought as she sat on the wet ground. “Arlin!” the man yelled to a boy who looked a few years younger than Lilan. The boy jogged back from his spot in the crowd to the man, “Keep an eye on her.” Arlin nodded his head once and stood in front of Lilan, crossing his arms. The large man walked with the bustle of feet then, and watched Lilan and Arlin until others blocked his view. Great, Lilan snarled, Just great. _________________ "The sands of time cannot be stopped. Re: All You Need Is Love Fenirexes flew threw the air at a steady pace, his large red wings flapping in an elegant manner. Mesaraih looked around, enjoying the little time they had for peaceful time to themselves, peaceful time with no problems or fights. Suddenly, though, they felt a familiar presence nearby, and Fenirexes started racing towards it. Mesaraih knew that there was no urgency, but he enjoyed the exhilirating feeling of Fenirexes diving towards the ground at high speed. As they came closer, he was able to see who it was. Fenirexes levelled out on the ground then landed, and Mesaraih jumped off his back. Hi Elcyon, Mesaraih said. It's been a while since I've seen you. Fenirexes nodded in recognition then turned towards the other dragon. Who is this? he asked. I'm guessing it's not an enemy?

That means you share a bond with her, am I correct? Is it a human or an elf? she wondered, eager to intake more knowledge. She turned her head once she heard the voice of a familiar dragon and his rider.
Greetings to you both, El replied with a happy smile. Yes, it has been some time...almost half a year, hasn't it? What have the two of you been doing in that time? And no, Asmis is no threat, she added with a laugh. I just met her. Re: All You Need Is Love Asmis almost flew out of her scales with excitement as two more beings entered the scene. HI! It’s very nice to meet you! Oh, and my rider is a human, Elcyon.
A large smile spread across her scaly face. Suddenly, with no warning, Asmis felt her name being called. 'Asmis,' Lilan called in little panic. Yes? Asmis asked unexpectedly 'Asmis, I need your help right now.' Images of a boy standing in front of Lilan made Asmis very uneasy. Hang on…Asmis began Can I bring some friends? A mischevious smile had now molded from the prior. There was no reply but As could tell that Lilan wasn’t very happy at the moment. I’m sorry to be so bold, but my rider has just asked for my assistance in Daret and I was wondering if any of you would like to help?! She watched patiently with large orange eyes at all the other beings who looked at each other hesitantly. Lilan stood quietly, waiting for the supplies to be brought. A sudden large boom erupted from the area of the town where the mob had gone. Both her and Arlin looked to the large billow of smoke now building up from the supply area. He looked to her once then ran to the scene. Lilan took this opportunity to make some kind of escape. But of course, the explosion was caused by a small party of Urgals that now moved about the city. A sigh of disgust breathed through her teeth as she slid to an abrupt stop in front of three tall monsters. She called to As for she knew there was no chance for her to take the rest when she were to defeat the three that now hunched before her. _________________ "The sands of time cannot be stopped. With recent events, he felt like he had grown a lot more from his old self, but beneath the harder shell there still lay the dreams of an overdetermined youth. Suddenly, a commotion in the town ahead made him look up. He started running towards it, wondering what could be going on. _________________

Re: All You Need Is Love Lilan drew her simple arm-and-a-half length sword and shifted her feet farther apart for balance and stability, 'Here we go.'
Asmis thrust her large mass into the air and let a large amount of air fill her wings before she forced them down once more. This way! she yelled happily and began flying north east toward the town. It won't be long, Lilan, she sent in a rush, Just hang on. 'I'm doing my best,' Lilan scowled as all three of the Urgals charged towards her. She jumped high over all of them, her thin limbs and strong legs allowing her to stay air born longer and higher than most humans could manage. Her left elbow crashed hard into the farthest left monster's skull, the sword in her right hand cut through the middle's thick forehead, and her left foot slammed into the last Urgal's shoulder. All three of the creatures moaned in pain and fell unconsciously to the pavement; she landed softly with one foot behind the other, ripping the sword back out from the middle creature's head. 'Oh,' she thought flabbergasted, 'that was easier than normal.' A relieved and giddy smile hopped onto her face and she tried again to sprint for the gates now dead ahead. She stopped once more, her legs locking up in aggravation from the abruptness and strain of running and stopping. A figure slipped through from the gate in front of her, 'Great. Just great.' Almost there, Asmis sang, flying faster than she could ever remember. She turned back to the followers and realized that there was a noticeably large gap in distance between them. 'Calm,' Lilan sent to her, 'I'm doing fine.' _________________ "The sands of time cannot be stopped. Re: All You Need Is Love Mesaraih felt the wind beat against his face as Fenirexes flew at great speed forward, following Asmis. It actually felt rather good. He craned his neck, trying to see if he could spot anything.
Zantos finally made it to the wall. It was rather high, and he didn't think he could jump all the way over, so he jumped up as far as he could, and where he would have hit bare wall he made a few indents with magic so he could get some footholds. From them, he propelled himself farther up and flipped up onto the wall. He looked down and could see a figure trying to escape the town. Without looking to the side, he quickly jumped up and gracefully landed down in the same spot. He smiled as the arrows he had heard coming embedded themselves on the guards that had tried to shoot him. Need some help? he asked the figure below. He guessed they were an ally, but he didn't think it would matter in the end either way anyway. _________________
