 I might poof suddenly...My grandmother in Arizona has fallen gravely ill. She is not expected to live very much longer. My family has decided to wait until given notice of her condition, and then we will travel down there. If I'm gone for two weeks, at any given time, that's where I am.

Re: I might poof suddenly... We lost her today. She went peacefully in her sleep, sometime this morning. Maybe 8 or 9am. The funeral will be held in a few days.

Re: I might poof suddenly... Oh no I'm so so sorry. I know how that is to lose someone. Atleast she died peacefully and felt no pain. She had a very good life I'm sure. My thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family.

Re: I might poof suddenly... I'm now home again. My grandfather is going to be holding a 'Celebration of Life' in a few days. Regretfully, I will not be able to attend. But, as I've learned the hard way, life must go on. Everything cannot come to a screeching halt for one lost family member. But believe me, I wish it could.
*sighs* I'm glad I got to see her in August last year, at least. She seemed so healthy then...If any one of you is curious, she had breast cancer that spread throughout her entire body. Long story short, she went to chemo, her liver shut down, and the rest of her body with it. Basically the chemo is what killed her. Re: I might poof suddenly... Thats really hard to hear DS... and I truely understand how you feel. My grandmother on my dad's side died of pancreatic cancer....and also suffered from Alzhiemer's diesease. It was painful for my dad and for me as well. Even though I was only about 8 or 9 at the time.
I know its a cliche but time helps the healing. Knowing how much time is the hard part. But you will get through it. If I can, so can you! _________________ -------------------------------------
