OOC: This is the love story between Ephidel and Katar, but anyone can join.

IC: Ephidel joined the Varden a few days ago, but was already on his first mission. He was told to spy on one of Crimson's outposts deep inside Du Weldenvarden and take it down. He had know idea why he was assined to it. He wasn't good at spy work, let along destroying a whole enemy fort! Still, he had much time to think about it as he had only just entered the great forest. He hoped that others were with him, he was told some would join up with him, but no one had come yet... he thought he glimpsed a green dragon that could have been the one called Equinox, but he went flying in another direction. Ephidel walked deerper, nervouse about his first mission... and why he had to do it. He didn't mind at all, he wanted to help the Varden, but he doubted his own skill.

What was going on here? Kataar didn't know what was happening to her. At first she thought this rather dashing stranger was using a spell of some sort on her. He didn't look like a magician though. And this didn't feel like magic ... not in the literal sense, at least. "Uhm ... h-hello there. My name is K-kataar ... and this is Saru", she said, indicating with a stray hand motion to the dragon behind her. Determined not to look like a total idiot, Kataar cleared her throat and straightened her posture just a bit. In a more official tone, she asked, "Are you part of the Varden here to infiltrate Crimson's hideout?"

OOC: Remember, this is open to anyone who would like to join.

OOC: I'll bring in Radwerth.

"Infiltrate a hideout," Wizard Radwerth grumbled. "Never had this kind of job before." The old wizard sat on a log overlooking a fort. "The others will be here, he says, but I see no others!" Radwerth looked around and resumed his grumbling. "Must be young folks. Young folks are always late." A look of horor crossed his face. "Or even worse...love-struck young folks." The wizard huffed as if he was about to explode. "It's always the ones in love that hold you up!" He sat back. "I might as well take a nap!" He settled down and soon, the frown on his face relaxed. He started snoring gently. Radwerth mumbled one last thing before he slept, "Confounded young folks!"

ooc: woo here come Cratos: Prince of the Skies!!

Cratos was trying to take a nap while some old dude was yelling. Cratos got up and went over to the old guy. Hey could you keep it down? Some of us like to sleep. Cratos said to the old man. He responded by mumbling "Confounded young folk." His breath was atrocious. Cratos thought he was going to vomit from the stench. Not want to hear him talk or smell his breath Cratos walked away. Cratos was really sleepy, and he wasn't really looking where he was going. He suddenly bumped into a large piercing blue dragon. Cratos backed away from the dragon and bowed so low his beak was on the ground. Forgive me O great dragon, I'm sorry. Cratos said his eyes on the ground.

ooc: yes they can and Cratos will help if Saru asks

OOC: I didn’t know my wizard had bad breath…oh well. Lol.

Radwerth awoke with a start and took the situation in with a glance. Must be the other members of the party, he thought. “Tut-tut,” he said to the elf-like creature on top of the woman on the ground, “Shouldn’t be attacking people of the same party.” He lifted the elf off of the woman with magic and set her down gently. The wizard looked at the others, but stopped on the gryphon. Walking over to him he spoke again, this time half to himself. “Met a gryphon once before. Quite decent fellow.” He nodded as if he had shared some great secret then gazed at the man as if he had just noticed him. Then Radwerth looked back at the woman on the floor. A curious look passed over his face and he muttered almost inaudibly, “Love-struck.” He walked back over to his stump and sat down.

ooc: its said in his bio that he was probably part dragon which gave him bad breath lol

Cratos stood up when the old dude from before spoke. You met a gryphon? I highly doubt that. Cratos said to th old man. Cratos stepped towards the elf-wolf-thing, There is no need for violence. Cratos said staring into her eyes. He looked down to see she had been cut on her side, he let out a small breath on it and it quickly healed. Cratos looked between the two humans, definitely twitterpated. Greetings, I'm Cratos He said nodding to the two humans.

Oh. I see. lol, my bad.

Voenth had been on the Western edge of Du Weldenvarden for months, he had finally found what he had been looking for, an eldunari, the eldunari was that of one of his old friends, Sera. (Yes, she got to her eldunari, I have been keeping it a secret.) He had had help from his deceased drafon, Bascth to find her. They were of the same colony.

Voenth had begun to walk into the great forest ot find Braith, his current dragon and show him, when he felt the urge to teleport, he didn't knwo where, but he had the stones in both his swords, his ring and the onix in his bracelet completely charged, tso he teleported. He didn't really care where, but when he looked around he was suprised.

In front of him stood an old man, an gryphon, a small dragon, two humans, and an odd looking elf. He said, "Hello. My name is Voenth, prevous rider of Basct, and current rider of Braith." Voenth then pushed the two eldunari further into his pack, so as not to let anyone know that he had them, in case they were an enemy.

OOC: Hehe, ok, I will

Silver, its your turn I think... I think we need an order for this lol.

"Hello Cratos, I'm Ephidel. I've never met a gryphon before. He truned back to the girl. She hadn't answered his question, but he would give her time. "Are you alright?" he asked Katar. He heard someone appear, and looked back. A person he hadn't seen before appeard.
"I'm Ephidel." Ephidel said, he noticed the man move something he was holding one to, and it made Ephidel extinctivly move the magic seal to a safer location.
"Yes we are. I'm Ephidel, at least, I'm assuming their coming also." he said to Mari and Karden.

OOC: That's fine Silver.

Wizard Radwerth looked indignantly at Cratos. "Well then stop rather doubting it!" He huffed and then added, "A ten thousand year old wizard experiences strange things you know!" He walked over to the newcomers to looked them up and down. He nodded. "A dragon and rider...ought to come in very handy on a trip like this." The old wizard then looked at Tialgo." We also have a-" He broke off the sentance and a look of suprise crossed his face. His eyes squinted involuntarily. "Humph!" He walked away and sat down on his stump.

OOC: Lol my bad. I edited it.

Too many things were happening at once. An elf and a dragon emerged, introducing themselves. As well, another rider and her dragon landed nearby, asking if this was the group assigned to take out Crimson's hideout. Kataar heard the handsome man answer the male rider. He then looked at her and asked if she was alright. Warily, she replied, "Yes, I believe so ... " Determined to get this mission underway, she looked at each member of the member one by one and announced, "It seems like we are all here now. I am Kataar and this is Saru, my dragon." Saru acknowledged each of them in turn with a small nod of the head while they greeted him. In a level tone, she continued, "We have a job to do, let's get down to it. Crimson, the dark elf, is in that building over there, as we speak. We need to somehow ambush that building and destroy whatever forces he has. With a look of determination, "Does anyone have any ideas?"

OOC: Are we doing an order??

IC:
"Or you could just allow my friend..." Voenth allowed some time to pass, then a huge screech was heard and a monsterous silver hawk appeared behind him and landed on his sholder. "Arget'fethr, let you in by the door. Or, we could do it the hard way. I have a friend who has had a fight or two with Crimson." Said Voenth casully as he sat down on a nearby log and made sure no one could see into his pack.

ooc: RoD, when did Tialgo join this?

OOC: I think we should have an order what about... me, RoD, Arya, fang, cdg, Voenth, then Silver when she re enters.

OOC: Then that makes it your turn Dark Dragon.

OOC: Ok lol.

IC: Ephidel looked at the wizard he must be crazy. he thought to himself. He wondered just how old the wizard was, though old, Ephidel didn't dare underestimate his power. He looked at Katar, he turned away though, because he began to blush when he saw her.
"I agree, we should search out the fort first. Mari you, Krden, and Voenth can..." he stoped though when he saw the bird fly down.
"Well,..." his words trailed off, he hated commanding people to do things, even more so when most of them were older and more skilled than he was.
"Maybe we should go into groups. One group can go find Crimson, another can kill his soldiers, and a third can look for infromation." he said.
He hoped he could pick the groups though... if he didn't, he hoped that he could be with Katar.

OOC: I edited my post so that it is Voenth. What can I say...I was tired. And then there was the fact that was arm was hrting like crazy...oh well.
Who's turn is it?

OOC: Really?

Radwerth jumped off his stump and nodded. "If you're wishing to know how old I am," at this point he stared pointedly at Ephidel, "I don't know. I lost track at the ninetieth century." He suddenly noticed that Ephidel was blushing. Hmm, he though. The wizard then looked Kataar. He mumbled something about lovestruck and then went back to his stump.

OOC: He was blushing at Kataar .. lol.

Kataar raised her eyebrows at the old wizard. She was about to say something, but decided against it. Determined to get things under way, she announced, "Okay, we'll split into groups then. Mari and Karden, take surveillance of the fort and try to get as much information about it as you can. After that, Voenth, you and Arget'fethr try to find the best way inside. Cratos, Ephidel, Saru and I will try to locate Crimson himself. Everyone set?"

OOC: Fanghur, it is your turn.

I don't take orders from humans!! Cratos snorted at Kataar. He stared at the other human, Ephidel who stopped short before telling him what to do. Who did the human girl Kataar think she was? Ordering him around. he started to walk away and when he passed the old man he snorted and said Crazy old man

ooc: if you want his help a dragon has to ask him

OOC: *looks around with fake innocence* What...me? A cheater? Never!

"No." Said Voenth with a disgusted look on his face. He turned upon Kataar, who had told him what to do. "Who gave you the right or the privelage to order me around. I am easily your age times seven! I will do as I want and if there is a problem," He unlatched one of his swords and allowed the steel to show. "I can and will deal with it here. I do not lke humans, and will not follow orders from some child!" Said Voenth angrily as he began to walk out of the small clearing.

You fool! Look what you have done! Screeched Arget'fethr at the group right before he flew off after Voenth.

OOC: Lol, Voenth dosn't like humans, its in his bio, it adds more to the story and created conflict, also I need to post more like Voenth would instead of myself.

OOC: RoD, its your turn.

OOC: Has an order been made yet?

IC: The wizard looked gazed at Voenth as he ran off and shook his head. He rubbed his hands together and then spoke, "Enough chit-chat. Time to enter the fort." He muttered some words in the ancient language and appeared to enter a trance. After a while, Radwerth grunted and opened his eyes. "We won't be able to get in without killing the guards, and that will be hard considering how they are on top of the battlements." He started pacing, mumbling strange things as he went. One of these things was, "A portal would help. Too bad most of them have been destroyed. He suddenly stopped and looked down at his leg. Half of it had disapeared! "Well...wasn't so hard to find one..." he grumbled. The old wizard looked around at the others. "Best not jump through it just yet," he said, "It might be one of the older ones...ahah!" A slight smile played at the corners of his lips. "Now I remember how old I am! Somehwere around 10,000 years!" Radwerth, however, did not explain how he remembered, he just went on thinking of how to test the portal. Suddenly, he turned around and uttered, "Someone has to go through. If you get badly wounded that would meen it is an old one! But as none of you will be willing..." his voice trailed off and he glanced csideways at the rabbit hiding in the shadows.

OOC: Don't stop him! This will be the first demonstration on how he hates bunnys!

OOC: fang, its your turn.
