summary: elva and falknor must meet eragon to rescue falcon and fire blade. unfortenetly they dont know that galbatorix is ready for them.

ch1. THE NOTE

Falknor stood upside down in the air. Or rather sat upside down. She sat upon a gold dragon named Elva."What bothers you falknor?"Elva asked.
"I think something bad is going to happen."Falknor replied. In fact she had been having this wierd feeling that something was going to happen. Then something brushed her mind and tried to push into it. Instictevely she put up her barriers and focused on a single gold scale.
"Very amusing, a gold scale." Eragon said"But you need more practice. Now get down here before I drag you down!"
Elva folded her wings and turned in a steep dive.She banked sharply and landed with a thud.
"What is it?" Falknor asked.
"A note, from Galbatorix. It's for you."Eragon replied.
Falknor took the note and read it, it said,
Dear Falknor and Elva,
You have seven days to surrender to me or your dear brother falkon and his dragon are gonna be shrukin's dinner.

"not very formal is he?"Falknor asked.
"He wants Elva, I don't know why, he just does."Eragon replied.
"Eragon, we need to help them." Saphira stated.
"Yuo're right."Eragon told her,"Ok we'll help."
