Nice pictures! Digital art is still art, anyways. Almost any type of object or idea can be made into, or be seen as art.
The map is quite nice, I thought it was a computer one until I zoomed in on it.(and saw the caption ) My favorite on there would be the moon, because it looks like a real painting.
I can appreciate art, but I do not have the ability to create it very well, unless making things out of wood counts.(I flatter myself )

Nice work, Toph! Although I probably have already told you that in real life.. but w/e. I'm really not that great at art at all. The only work of mine that you could consider 'art' is when I doodle in my math notebook. I think I drew a pretty good dragon one time....

Wow this topic has missed my sight.... but I don't draw, nor do I sketch. I paint, and I use pastels (i love pastels^.^). Man painting sounds so dull....

Hey Toph, that was a pretty good drawing, though I do have to say, you would probably change your mind about it if you added a little color. You know add a little spice, flavor. Stuff like that.

I've drawn a grand total of six drawings all of which i am impressed with myself. I havent drawn since middleschool and i made six drawings in about two or three days. They are all of Super Smash Bros characters. I drew a couple of Captain Falcon (obviously lol). I drew one of Falco, Fox, and then one of the Landmaster Tank as well as one of Lugia because if you get him from a poke-ball in that game, he totally owns. lol

Alas i do not know how to post them on the internet. i want to but i dont have what i need to do so. uhhh what do you need?

I love painting... ah... it completes my soul.... lol! But still I do like painting a lot, because you can capture natural beauty in one swipe of your brush.

Mmm... shading... I like shading... but its hard to paint... you have to go over in layers and use a specific paint... meh... a lot of trouble... but it comes out great lol.

I use pencil only. But i did color in one of my drawings and it turned out really good. But i decided not to with the others because it is possible that the color could blot out the basic outline of what youre coloring in.

Its hard when you first start out... its not hard anymore... I almost wish it was.... hmm

I like pastels when it comes to blending... sure it sticks to your hands and gets all over everything you touch but its really great when you get used to it. ^.^

Really? My most recent use of pastels was when i painted a bamboo patch with india ink and went over and added detail with pastels.

Cool.

Yeah india ink isn't as fine point as pen... but it certainly gives the artwork character.

Aw finally i got them in. It took me forever to find out how but my mom and i scanned them into her computer and then into mine. So here are the drawings i made that i am most proud of. You'll note that the name "8-Ball" is in each picture which is my long carried nickname and is now the name i use on my drawings to show that they are mine. lol


This pick is Lugia flying over the Celtic Symbol of Power. I thought that since Lugia is a badass in Super Smash Bros Melee and Brawl, why not mix both up.


Captain Falcon and Lugia. When i was playing SSB Melee, i ran across a moment where i was cornered against a bunch of level nines and i got Lugia from a pokeball. He totally wiped them all out for the win. Thats where this drawing comes from.


Got bored one day and drew this. Just because its awesome.


Falco Lombardi is in this drawing. Played as him one day in SSBB and owned with him. Thats where this idea came from.


And my final one to show, Jack Krauser from Resident Evil. Because he's awesome.

no. because i am nowhere near being an artist of high standards. I am actually proud of these because i never was able to draw until i made these.

no i wasnt saying anything against you. i was only saying that i am not going to be able to do this because i whipped these up in one months time even though i never drew once in my life. dont expect anything magnificant.

Come to think of it, my dad is a painter himself. He could probably give me some advice on what to improve on.

if you get them onto the computer itself you can scan them. do you have a scanner?

well i scanned mine from one computer to the next and then saved them as images.

Arya_n_Eragon_<3: If they're already on your comp, just insert the file. A little below the sumbit button on a post box there's a section called "Upload Attachment" Then there's a thing called "Filename" you can browse your comp to find them and then just click open and the name of the file will appear and you can click sumbit and they should be there.

Pomfret: Those were good. I like the Lugia's. Not a big fan of the others. Well maybe the tank, but thats about it. Like Arya_n_Eragon said, try shading a bit more. Would look great then. Don't get me wrong they're good as it is, but if you want to become an amazing artist like you said you might want to do, you should look deeper into your art.

PS: It also helps to take a few steps back and look at it from afar.

psh amazing artist you say. no i dont think i would want to either. i like mien drawings just the way they are. though i already modified a couple of times.

Now why wouldn't you want to be an amazing artist? Lol. It would be fun. Lol.
