I plan to go see it... I read a bit of the book in the store, and it seems a bit more substantial that your standard horror fare. Plus, it's directed by Scorcese.

Then I'm going to plow through said book. :)

It's 1954, and up-and-coming U.S. marshal Teddy Daniels is assigned to investigate the disappearance of a patient from Boston's Shutter Island Ashecliffe Hospital. He's been pushing for an assignment on the island for personal reasons, but before long he wonders whether he hasn't been brought there as part of a twisted plot by hospital doctors whose radical treatments range from unethical to illegal to downright sinister. As a hurricane cuts off communication with the mainland, more dangerous criminals "escape" in the confusion, and the puzzling, improbable clues multiply, Teddy begins to doubt everything - his memory, his partner, even his own sanity.

indeed, according to my math teacher he said that it's not just any other typical horror movie. it actually talks about fear and not knowing what's real and what's not and other rather deep stuff.

I finished this earlier tonight.
Films like this are the reason I watch movies.
I want a film that makes me think. There's really nothing else I can say... watch it, and you'll understand why not.

We watched it when it first came out and I thought it was really good. I thought it had a good plot and a really good twist to it. I dont really remember any movies were like that one. I would say its worth seeing for sure. :D
