SInce the release of Cp's videos there is a pregnancy and a death maybe Saphira lays an egg and then gets killed by something and Eragon lives on going mad from thte pain of llosing Saphira steals Saphiras egg and poles a Galby i dont know but its just a thought but maybe

If CP kills Saphira, he's a dead man.

saphira being the one who becomes pregnant is a cool idea. the most obvious choice from our point of view is katrina because of the info we have but CP never says at what point in the book the char gets knocked up so circumstances could change and saphira could find her mate. i dont think shell die though i mean how sucky would that be. CP seems like he is pretty much sticking to conventions of high fantasy. even if saphira died i dont think eragon would break the sacred bond between rider and dragon and steal another egg or hatchling. after i read eldest i thought an interesting tragic ending would be if saphira was killed before she mated and the dragons were forced to extinction. then eragon goes crazy and he and the elves continue fighting but much of the elves power would be used defeating galbatorix. these things would greatly diminish alagasia (sp? i think theres an e in there). kinda like lord of the rings the decline of things. i know it would be a tragic ending but it would be compelling.

that would definelty be a crazy yet interesting ending and i think that the readers would go mad becuz of it to lol. But its beleived that the dragons run free in other parts of the world i mean they mention several times in eldest about new lands maybe the ending will be that eragon and saphira flee befroe saphira dies and gets mated with a wild dragon rare but possible
