I saw that! Congrats Incomer & all the Czech Republic- bad luck USA The English commentary for that game was pretty bad- they kept saying stuff about how "football isn't America's best sport" and "We expected better from the USA"

I heard on TV that Zidane did it because Materazi {sp?} insult him in italian. Perhaps materazi didn't know that zidane lived in Italy for 5 years so he understood what he said. Zidane never lose his temper before.. it wasn't his nature to lose temper like that.

That was because, the Italian guy, said that Zidane's sister is a prostitute and Zidane's parents are terrorists (as far as I know Zidane is a muslim) AND he repeated it 3 times! SO yes that one was a major insult not only for Zidane but also for his religion so he did it..

However, that's Zidane's version. FIFA is running an investigation on this (lip reader, etc)
