My lock won't work.
Like when I turn it off, then lock it, it turns on...

Probably my fault though. I was benching with weights (not a bar) and I put the 45lbs weight on my leg (I was just starting ) and I guess I put too hard or something.
That was the first time it messed. Then a few monthes ago (and after it first started to mess up) I dropped it in a sink full of water and I let it dry and whatnot, but lock really doesn't work.

I'm going to be a spoilsport and recommend getting a knockoff. They're significantly cheaper and basically do the same things. Well what do you want to be able to do on your player?

I don't know man, My 80 gb is topped out and full! I'm actually looking at that 120... though, I would have just gotten a knock off if I hadn't gotten that one for my birthday a few years back

It's 3G, I reset it often enough, (pause + center).
And I just don't feel like resetting all my stuff. That's a lot of work! (My music is spread out on two computers)

But if by accident the iPhone goes into SSTP recovery mode then there's all the iTunes dysfunctionality problems. Like the "connect to iTunes" screen may never go, permanently corrupting the iPhone. Even after DFU mode, there's no recovery.Therefor I say iTouch.

Recently got an iPod Touch, 2nd generation, version 3.1.1 firmware.

Is it possible to downgrade the firmware so that I can jailbreak it? Or is there any jailbreaking software out there capable of dealing with 3.1.1?

I've got an IPod shuffle, but I want something that'll play music videos and movies, I also want ALOT of memory cause I have WEEKS of play time in my library. What do you suggest would get me the best for my money? It needs to be durable to, cause I drop things. I dropped my new camera when I opened its packaging. I dropped my BlackBerry an hour after I got it; see, I drop expensive things

My iPod touch is 8 gig, and I've already crammed it full of music. I even deleted all of my apps, pics and videos! D:

I don't think the touch is ideal for music, just not enough space on them...
