Lol it just happening to me! I upload a new avatar and one member apparently found it offensive, but honestly I don't know why because I like the pic (it's a GIF image, I posted the pic on the "request new avatar" topic on chat board) then this person PM me and asked me to change my avvy and so I did.
Lol i think it's more effective to PM the avatar owner first instead of administrator

one thing now if you find my avatar offensive tell me right away and i will change it. if you are wondering what it is it be a cat that is passed out and was drinking and smoking.

You never know who would take that to be offensive. Mabey some cat is on right now saying "Man i tell ya these humans are so offensive with thier pictures." or mabey a cat lover

I would just ask the person what do you think is wrong with it, this is what I do when someone does a post report that I believes has nothing wrong with and most of the time they don't reply.

Well it would be offensive to me. I was the one who asked Fathskie to please change her Avatar. I have many reasons for the baby, cat, and a dog. They are all good ones to.

No it's not. A guy was sent to jail for making his animals breath in marijuana. His sentince was animal cruelty.

No I am not. I just have a life that is falling apart. My three of my six grandparents are sick, one has cancer. My best friend moved away, I have no other friends. And a ton of other things. I love animals and would do anything to protect them. People like you are the ones that don't care about what REAL in life.

There's an ambiguous statement with "avatar like this"... "Like this" is like what?
If you mean a kinda dark-joke-avatar, as long as it not against the rules (politic, religion, porn pics, etc) I think it's fine.. But if one of the ppl here feels uncomfortable with your avatar appearance maybe you would like to re-consider it.
When Erais told me not to use that picture, I asked her why and I remove the avvy.

Animal avatars even if there smoking or something is not offensive unless you are an animal rights activist in which to be honest, you should just leave!

lol My avatar isn't cruel either, because many cats love water. My nan's cat used to jump in the bath.
