I jumped at the wolf's growl, looking behind me to see if I could run. Thankfully, I heard the man next. "Er, it's alright.. but if you don't mind, I'd like to keep my legs.." I held up my arms to show I was unarmed. "You don't have to worry about me an-" The bang from the rifle startled me, I jumped once more. "Is it hunting season? I'm afraid I'm not from around here." I looked about in the darkness, I couldn't see anything besides the man, the daughter, and the wolf infront of me... but I could almost feel the tense night air. A shudder ran up my spine, "Sorry, someone just stepped on my grave.."

"I'll worry about people later." Scubs said, "Now i've got to tell Third Echelon to hold off on the Blackhawk." He keyed up his implants and said, "Disregard my last HQ, I need a little more time here." There was no answer at HQ. "HQ do you read? Damn it. Must have damaged my implants when I fell." He got out his binoculars and started scanning the valley he was in. He saw more and more people as he was scanning the valley. "What the heck?!?! This place was empty when I took out Al-Asad!" He said. Scubs stood up and started walking to the nearest person while thinking to himself, "What in the world is going on here?"

Re: The Greatest Story Ever Told... By SF
I instantly jumped up when the gun went off-becoming the protective wolf again-growling ferociously in it's direction. I soon stopped. I turned to look at the stranger. My teeth are tender to friends, but their like knives to my enemies. I've decided you are a friend, I said to him, pretty sure that he wouldn't know it was me. I stood up on my hind legs and shifted to my elven form, auburn/golden hair extending to my waist. A silver/blue sword hung on my hip, but I quickly covered it with my cloak. I fixed my amber eyes onto the strangers,"You have nothing to fear from me. I'm not really a wolf, as you can see. I'm a shape-shifter of old, and my real name is Eldunira." I said gently, smiling in a friendly manner,"Ravon is not really my master, but-shoot, your word escapes me. Oh! Husband. Ravon is my husband. But Sellia isn't really our daughter, but a young girl we found wondering about. Though we do think of her as our own." I grinned,"From how she looks now, you wouldn't think she was so helpless then." my delicate elf nose twitched. I smelled a friend nearby. I could not tell if she was in another world, but she was near. Silver the Diclonius. I hadn't seen her in awhile. I returned my attention to the stranger, who looked slightly peeved, and laughed, my voice a sweet and musical trill,"Please, sit. I won't bite you legs off." I said, my voice lilting at every word,"And don't worry. I've felt plenty of people walk on my grave." she muttered
Ravon grimaced. The scar on his back itched horribly. Something was going to happen. And soon. He didn't know what. But he knew it was going to be bad. Very, very, bad.
Sellia glanced at her adopted mother and father. Then at the stranger. She didn't like him. Maybe that's because she usually didn't trust anyone except for herself, Ravon, and Eldunira. She tried to act pleasant around him, and she even managed a friendly smile. She hoped he didn't detect how she felt. If she did, she would be so embarrassed. She hated it when people could read what she thought and felt through her body language. Though she was pretty sure that this stranger couldn't read her. She tried to read him. His body language suggested that he was afraid of the heavy black form of her adopted mother. She smiled at that. Every person who saw her adopted mother in her wolf form ran away screaming. But she knew the truth about Eldunira. Unless threatened, her adoptive mother was very sweet and gentle in her wolf form. She watched Eldunira talk to the stranger, and was surprised when she laughed. Oh how she loved it when her adoptive mother laughed! So sweet, relaxing, entrancing, beautiful, even musical. Though, she was in her elven form, so what did she expect? Elves were well known for there joyous personality's. She gestured for the man to sit across the fire from her,"Sit, please. My mother won't bite. Her bark is mainly worse than her bite. Most of the time." she said with a teasing smile.

Re: The Greatest Story Ever Told... By SF
Victor quickly drew both his swords, and they jumped back slightly at that. Soon though, they started to be able to dodge everything from him pretty good. They started taunting him, saying that he should be fighting with his fists and not swords. Victor shrugged and sheathed them both. They were confident, but Victor did not let that confidence grow. As they were just about to strike, he made ducked and moved between two of the three he was fighting. He was about to elbow them in the back of the head, but they blocked both his arms. He did a backflip and was about to kick them, but they blocked that too and retaliated by jumping up and trying to do the same. Victor tried to hit them once more from behind, but no matter what he did they always blocked, and vice versa too. Miguel was going pretty much the same way. "Let's go," Amira said. They nodded and Amira drew from her pocket a small controller, rather like one to open a garage door. She pressed a button and the marble dance area started to open up. A metal platform came up revealing four ten second cars. There was a red one, a green one, a blue one, and a white one. Amira threw something at the ground and the rest of them started running towards the cars. Victor and Miguel were about to follow them, but suddenly a small explosion erupted beneath their feet and blew them back. Daniel was getting in the white one with Ana, who he now saw had been knocked unconscious, while Amira was getting in the green with one of the brothers. One brother was getting in the blue one while the father was getting in the red one. Victor quickly stood up, snarling. He ran towards them as fast as he could, but they were too quick. They started up their engine and drove down the road at an incredible speed. Victor drew his red sword and pointed at the blue one. Before it passed by, he shot a powerful jet of fire at it. The engine caught on fire and five seconds later it blew up. One of the brothers was dead. Two wings of fire, one red and one white, came out of his back. He followed the red car where the dad was in and dove down, knowing that if he did not catch it now he never would be able to. After a few minutes, he was finally able to latch on to the side of the car. He broke a window and blasted the man with fire, then quickly got inside and threw him out. Driving quickly, he took it back to Miguel, who got inside and started driving himself.

Re: The Greatest Story Ever Told... By SF
My head shot up as I heard explosions close by,"I must be going now." I said, bounding away. I leaped up, then, at the height of my leap, I shifted to a silver/blue dragon. I growled deep in my throat as I spotted a red car dashing after a white car and a green car. I banked in the red cars direction until I was flying right above it. Hello Victor. It's been awhile. Do you need my assistance? I could stop those cars in their tracks if you like, I said with a smile.
Ravon sighed inwardly as his mate jumped up and shifted to a silver/blue dragon. Sometimes he envied her, but it only lasted a second. He looked at Sellia, who was watching the stranger with a guarded expression. He wondered what his adoptive daughter was thinking.
Sellia raised an eyebrow as her adoptive mother dashed away. She wondered why.

Re: The Greatest Story Ever Told... By SF
Back on the road again after the night, more engines sounded nearby. Exsequiae and I hopped back into cover and then three cars came speeding by, a dragon flying above one. "Was that another dragon?" Exsequiae said to me. "It looked somewhat familiar . . . perhaps." I watched until they dissapeared. "Should I follow them?" she asked me. "I will wait for you here." I replied to her. With that, she bolted off after them.
Exsequiae quickly caught up to them but remained hidden in the trees, flying around each of them with grace but watching the chase unfold all the same.

Victor sighed when he saw Eldunira. "Yeah, that might be appreciated," he said. Miguel did not seem to be aware of anything other than the two cars in front of him.
OOC .::. lol, you can start doing whatever you want to the cars, just make sure you don't say what happens to them... I've got more planned lol.

Re: The Greatest Story Ever Told... By SF
Two cars stopping in their tracks coming right up. Oh, and you might want to cover you ears, I joked lightly, grinning wolfishly. Becoming serious, I flapped up ahead of the two cars, then dove down and landed several meters in front of them, causing a teeth rattling thud. I pulled back my head as I took in a mighty breath, then jerked my neck to it's full length, and roared. My roar shook the buildings around us, and made the ground vibrate with it's intencity. The two cars screeched to a halt as I reached the end of my breath. As the people in the cars made to get out, I took several steps forward and snarled. That made them freeze in their tracks, then slowly creep back into the cars. I heard a sharp click! as they locked the doors. I snorted, then looked beyond them to see the red car coming towards us. I smiled toothily. Two cars stopped in their tracks, served. To easy if you ask me, I said, curling up in front of the cars. My silver/blue scales flashed in the sunlight, covering the ground and nearby buildings in little dots of color.

Re: The Greatest Story Ever Told... By SF
Victor had wanted to stay in the car because he thought that with Miguel so mad he might crash, but he looked in control, so he quickly got out and growing his wings once more flew above Miguel towards the stopped cars. Just as Miguel braked, though, a dark shadow flew around the cars, moving them in a flash of light behind Eldunira, where they were already speeding away. Miguel chased after them once more, and Victor followed by air. They reached a large river where there was a bridge, but as soon as they passed it the black shadow quickly flew around it and destroyed it. Miguel was heading straight for it and he was not sure if he would be able to break. When he saw that Miguel did not seem to even be trying, Victor quickly shot a white fireball down which transformed into a harmless ramp once it was on the ground. Miguel drove right onto it and (quite stylishly) jumped over the whole river. Victor quickly flew faster towards the enemy cars. He started shooting fireballs at them, but they were excellent drivers and always dodged them. He flew down lower and readied himself to destroy one of them manually, but something buffeted him in the air. It was the same shadow, which now transformed into its humanoid form. He recognized it immediately as Rezekiel. What the hell is going on here? he thought. Apparently there was an alliance between him and Amira. Rezekiel laughed and tried to stab Victor in his shock. Victor rolled to the side in the air and continued flying towards the cars. Miguel seemed to be getting closer now. Victor quickly shot a giant wave of fire in front of the enemy cars. They had to brake and drive around it, giving Miguel even more advantage. Now he was right next to them. They crashed against each other, trying to knock each other off balance so they could lose control. Rezekiel growled, still flying behind him. He was shooting black bolts of lightning, which Victor was very narrowly avoiding.

Re: The Greatest Story Ever Told... By SF
I growled as the shadow swirled around the cars. I would know that shadow anywhere, I said to myself. I lifted off the ground and shot after them. I quickly caught up with Victor and Rezekiel. I opened my mouth and roared flames at him, careful to avoid hitting Victor. Turning off my fiery jets, I soared beside the fallen angel. I wheeled in front of him and buffeted him with my wings, then turned back around. You get the cars. I'll deal with Rezekiel. If you need me, just call my name, I growled to Victor, shifting to a multi-white/gray hippogriff in mid-air. I shrieked and spun around to face my opponent, sharp beak ready to stab, talons ready to slash.
