OOC:This is the RPG for when Vlad and Argon leave solitude for the first time. They are going to Ellesmera. Anyone can join.

Background: Argon has been pushing Vlad for a while to go on an Adventure. Vlad also is beginning to search for a mate, etc. Neither of them really know what they are getting into.

IC:
Vlad sat with his back against Argon. They had traveled south to Ellemera. They were an hour or so away. However, the light had faded so they landed to rest.

Vlad finished his meal and then settled in more against Argon. She covered him with her wing, protecting him from the cold and the dew.

The dawn found them high in the sky, soaring peacefully towards the city.

Natsu landed softly and gracefully on the ground, and looked up towards the sky, which was slightly hidden by the large trees of Ellesmera. It is a beautiful day, Natsu said peacefully.

Indeed it is, Erza replied. I almost feel like venturing to the city today.

Shall we? Natsu asked.

Hmmm...you can visit the library, and maybe the sparring fields, so I think we should, Erza said.

Honouring the mental agreement, they immediately started sprinting towards the main part of Ellesmera, where civilization lied.

"Wow, it is amazing," Argon said.

"Yes," Vlad replied.

They hovered down and landed near the sparring fields. The Elves stopped and stared openly.

"Welcome Rider," an Elf Maiden said. "You come from the north, why."

"I...I...I...am nnnot a Rrrider," Vlad said. "Arrrgon and I are...are... jjust Frriends."

"Forgive my friend. He is not used to being around others. We live up north, alone.

Yeah, go ahead and join.

Hmm, I am stuck until someone else posts and greets me.

Vlad's head hurt and he felt naked. Many of the elves were staring. He knew it was at Argon, but it did not matter. He gripped his head, which was causing him immense pain.

"Come on Vlad. You are a social creature. This is a place to practice the sword, yours is strapped to my saddle, retrieve it and spar someone. There are two who just came. One is built like a swordsman. Perhaps him."

Vlad was nudged forward by Argon and he strode over, not so confidently to the two who had just come in. They looked the same, confusing things even more.

"Would would one of you lllike to sppar?" He asked.

Okay. I am not used to posting orders though. lol. I'll contact FE and tell him.

OOC: Well, I'm on here regularly enough to post in an order, so I don't mind.

Natsu was surprised as a rider and dragon landed on the sparring grounds. He had told Erza to stay in the sky, away from the elves for now, but now he wasn't sure that was a good idea.

As Natsu came closer, he saw the rider hop off his dragon and ask someone to spar. Interesting, Natsu remarked to Erza. I shall watch him spar; I wish to see how skilled he is. Erza shrugged mentally, and joined eyes with Natsu so she could watch the match as well.

"Sure, why not? I'm Allen." He said, holding out his hand to shake.

Vlad awkwardly grasped Allen's hand. "I...I am Vlad. I live allone, Fffar Away. I am not used to others."

Vlad Ran up Argon's side and drew his sword on one smooth motion. He landed and prepped his blade. He walked over to an empty spot on the field and took his stance. As soon as Allen was ready, Vlad launched his attack. He started easy, gauging Allen's Skill.

OOC:You guys got room for one more?

OOC:

Yeah, I'm sure Mindrop would want you to join.

OOC:Well I didn't think he would mind but was going to make sure.Well here goes.

IC:After the long journey from the Beor Mountains Bertran and Ash had finally made it to Ellesmera and recovered from the journey enough to come and spar.They came out of their house and flew into the air.They landed in the sparring and archery field where many elves were sparring and practicing their archery.Bertran saw where a dragon rider that he had seen come into the city the day before and another person were sparring.He walked over towards them to watch and see what skills they had.Bertran looked into the air and saw gray dragon flying around and wondered if it could be the Elf's with black spiky hair dragon that was a standing by and watching the dragon rider spar.

"Hello."He said to the black spiky haired Elf.

Well, FE is just watching, why dont we skip him and shurt for now.

Vlad worked hard at controlling his speed. to much speed, and he would lose his accuracy and against Allen, accuracy was more important than strength or speed.

Vlad saw his opening and drove his sword in. He worked it fast in about a foot square at Allen's chest height. In the box, he worked High, Low, stabs and slashes, driving his sword forward searching for his mark.

OOC: No, which is odd because I always have a plan.

IC:
Vlad pushed Allen forward, but the attack failed and he found himself on the defensive. He picked up the speed of his attack, lessening his accuracy, which was fine since he was disengaging. He finally disengaged and said though his panting, "You were trained well. Tell me, who trained you?"

OOC: Do it. Please. I plan on working on getting Vlad more comfortable around others so he can think clearly and not stutter, etc. But that is just through normal interaction.

"This is Minerela." Elaina said to the rather startled collection of people. "She's a water dragon."

Argon slowly began to approach Minereal, in a circling manner. She was quite different physically that Argon.

"If your a water dragon, what are you doing away from the sea?" Argon asked.


Vlad turned his attention back to Allen. "My father taught me to use the blade. He taught me much of what I know. Since I left his house, I have been alone. Argon came later. This is my first time around others. What are you two doing here then?"

OOC: Sorry for my inactiveness recently. My family has been down, and I haven;t been able to get on the computer at all. Though, if you don't mind, Mindrop, later I would like to implement another one of my characters into the story. I recently finished his outline, and am working out some quirks in it. He's kinda evil, so it might add some friction to the plot.

IC:

Natsu watched silently as the two battled it out, and right when the fight was getting good, "ALLEN!"

Natsu looked towards the interruption, and saw that the voice had come from a girl. "This is Minerela. She's a water dragon," the girl said.

You should come on out, Erza. Things are finally getting interesting, Natsu said.

On cue, a gray dragon descended onto the ground, and walked slowly towards Natsu, and settled herself next to him. Natsu stroked Erza's chin. I wanted to see a fight between you and another elf here, but it appears things have went in a surprising direction, Erza said to Natsu.

"If I may ask, what specifies a dragon to be a dragon of water? Are they Masters of Water, do they dwell in the ocean, or something else?" Natsu asked the girl. "But excuse my manners, what is your name? I cannot afford to be rude near my dragon."

Allen shrugged, staring in surprise at the odd-looking dragon Elaina had brought, and said, "Well, we were following a set of strange tracks we'd come across in the Hadarac, and..." He gestured to Minerela. "Well, i guess we found her."

"Oh great. I can see from Argon's body language, that she has her mind set on something. My guess is that she wants to help Minerela."

To the dragon who was watching her curiously, Minerela said, "I'm looking for other water dragons. Kind of a long story, but i thought the elves might have the information i was looking for."

"I know that feeling. I have lived my life alone in the woods, the last few years have been with Vlad. You are the first dragon I have met." Argon said.

OOC:Is there any plot exactly in this?

IC:Bertran watched as the battle came to an end with the yell of "ALLEN!"

Bertran looked over and saw a girl walking up towards the man fighting Vlad.They started talking about weird tracks in the Hadarac and then an odd looking dragon peeked around a tree.The dragon's blue-green eyes surveyed the field and then its oddly small body stepped out.It had a weird form that looked like it was made for water.

Ash do you know what it is?I mean I think it is some kind of dragon but what kind of dragon?

I think it is a female wa......

"This is Minerela." Elaina said to the rather startled collection of people. "She's a water dragon."

Water dragon.

Haha.Well Ash it seems like your right.Do you know anything about them?

All I know is they exist but thought that they were wiped out because I had never seen one or heard of anyone seeing them.I guess they just hide or stay in the deep ocean.

Well Ash it seems like they are looking for other of the water dragons kind.Should we help?

I don't know I guess it wouldn't hurt.If they ask for help then we will but if not then we will let them do what they want.I don't know whether or not to trust them yet.And I don't know about the one who has lived alone for so long.

Haha we should introduce him to Ebirk sometime!

Ash we want to help them not scare them out of there wits with a cranky old man who lives alone in the mountains haha!

Bertran crawled onto Ash and they walked over to where the dragon rider and the one named Allen were standing.

"Is there anything that I could do to help with finding the water dragon some information?I might have some scrolls in my cottage.I have several scrolls that speak of different dragon types but don't know whether or not they speak of water dragons."

"I'm Elaina. If you want to know about water dragons, you should ask Minerela, i didn't even know they existed until a few minutes ago."

"Interesting," Natsu replied, and he looked at the water dragon's form. It was built in an opposite direction than Erza. It looked more like it was built for speed and agility, but it was still too small to be sure.

We are surrounded by several interesting people, and even a few dragons, Erza noted to Natsu.

Indeed. I've never been surrounded like this before. I'd say it makes me feel uncomfortable, but that's not quite how I feel. I'm not real sure, to be honest. Think, a water dragon! I have scrolls on them, but the information supplied about them is seldom, especially compared to what I would like to know. They seem like interesting creatures. I had thought that all water dragons were in hiding. I wonder what one is doing on land? It might not be a blessing.

That could be possible, but I do not see any trouble coming our way, especially confined in the deep forests of Du Weldenvarden.

True. Natsu turned his attention to the people and dragons around him. Erza slowly walked up to the water dragon, and paused a few yards away, eager to learn about her, but not wanting to intrude. Hello, dragon of water, Erza said finally.

OOC: Everyone would assume Vlad and Argon are bonded, not just friends.

IC:
Vlad walked over to Argon, who was next to Minerela. "I know that look."
"We should help those in need." Argon replied. "If she wants or needs it. But yes, I have asked."

Vlad turned his attention to Natsu. "I am Vlad. Who are you?"

OOC: That's true. Hey Mindrop, can I add another character to the story? His name is Zain, and my bio for him is in my sig. I haven't gotten a chance to use him yet, so I'm eager to.

Sorry for posting out of order. I just couldn't resist.

IC:

The rider named Vlad who had been dueling Allen looked at Natsu, "I am Vlad. Who are you?"

"My name...is Natsu. My dragon's name is Erza. I must admit, your duel with Allen was impressive, and I was interested to see more, until it got interrupted. Of course, I don't see too many fights, as I live secluded from civilization. You said earlier that you too were used to seclusion. What made you decide to leave?"

OOC:Sure.

IC:
"Well, Argon wanted to leave. She wanted Adventure and too meet other dragons. I came, because at some point I need to find a mate." Argon said. "Same with Argon. She does not want to be alone with me for life. This is our first time leaving our home."

Zain stood silently on a hill, staring hungrily at the peaceful yet dangerous forest of Du Weldenvarden. The elves are inside there, hiding, Zain said to Syrin. Galbatorix and his soldiers refer to the elves as cowards, when all Galbatorix does is sit in his castle like the fat king he is.

We don't hold a place in this war, Zain, and nor should we. We remain neutral so that we can be free, and attain more power.

I know, I know, but don't you sometimes wonder what it would be like to gain political power? We have a great deal of physical, mental, and magical power, but we are practically nobodies in this war. It doesn't matter if we live or die; it won't affect the outcome, unless we do something.

Syrin stared carefully at Zain, What are you thinking?

I'm thinking that we pick a side, Syrin, so that people will actually know our names! You know as well as I do that it is sometimes painful to be unknown to the world, to know so little about yourself.

Zain, if we picked a side, we would be no more. We had vowed, not in the Ancient Language, but the human's language, that we would stick to our own side. If we do anything in this war, it will be of our own accord, and not someone else's. If we join a side, the personalities of Zain and Syrin will be no more, just gone in the wind.

Zain laughed, I forgot how wise you can be, Syrin. You're right though. However, even if we don't join a side, that doesn't mean we can't make ourselves known.

I know that, Syrin paused, I've always wanted to learn the secrets of Du Weldenvarden and Ellesmera. Syrin got up and shifted his wings, Let's go.

Alright, Zain mounted Syrin, and gazed one last time at the forest of Du Weldenvarden. We'll be back, and we'll find a way into Ellesmera.

We keeping this going or did my lack of creativity make this a bomb?

OOC:Sorry you guys for not being on been busy.Ok CDG do you still want me to get the scrolls.If you do I will get them and let you read them so you can come up with what you want them to say.I'm going to make this post and if you don't want them I can just delete the post.

IC:"Ok I will go get them and will be right back.Let's go Ash."

Bertran and Ash flew to their hut that they have in the city.

Ok Ash we better hurry and not keep them waiting.

Bertran ran in with his elf speed since he was in fact part elf part human.He ran into the library and grabbed all the scrolls about dragons that he had and ran back outside.

Ok Ash fly to the field and I will meet you there.

You sure you don't want to fly?

I have to keep hold of the scrolls since we don't have your saddle on.

Bertran ran as fast as he could back to where the small group was and handed the scrolls to Elaina.

"These three scrolls tell all about dragons and I am pretty sure that I have read something about water dragons in them."

Bertran handed her the scrolls and stepped back as Ash landed behind them.
