Physical Description: Raven is somewhat tall, 5'8", with hazel eyes that look gold, and brown hair with red sunstreaks from being outside all the time. Her ears are actually pointed like an elf's, but since she is only half-elf, they are not as prominent. Most of the time she uses magic to make them appear to be rounded, like a human's, so that Galbatorix can't find her and so normal people don't freak out because they think she's an elf. She wears well worn leather boots, dark grey pants, and a black cloak with blue trim over a loose, long-sleeved shirt. She carries a leather satchel slung across one shoulder and the opposite hip. Inside the satchel are her inks, pens, and other utensils for her maps.

Skills: Swordsmanship: Raven has trained with both elven and human blademasters, so she has a formidable repetoire of fighting styles that she has mastered and she is very clever when it comes to combining them. She is wickedly fast, even among the elves, and incredibly strong.

Magic: Her magical abilities before she was bonded to Oceanis, her dragon, were powerful compared to humans, but mediocre among the elves. When she joined with her dragon, her magical acuity was increased to 10x what it used to be. She has an excellent vocabulary in the ancient language and can even write in the Poetic Script, though she has difficulty remembering certain runes.

Bloodwrath: Of all of her skills, none is more deadly than the Bloodwrath. The Bloodwrath is a mental state that comes over Raven whenever anyone she loves is in danger. While in the Bloodwrath she can do things that are normally impossible for her, or for anyone else, to do. Her strength and magical acuity are increased so much, that her skin burns with a heat so intense, that if a normal person touched her, they would be burned to a crisp. The problem is that the Bloodwrath is also an extremely heightened form of a normal warrior's blood lust during battle. This means that where a normal warrior can tell friend from foe, and remain somewhat rational, Raven can not. She becomes so enraged that everyone is a foe and she can recognize no one but her dragon. If she was ever allowed to completely unleash the fury of Bloodwrath, she would destroy everything within a mile. The Bloodwrath can only be tamed by Oceanis or it has to be allowed to drain off, which takes hours. After a Bloodwrath Raven is too tired to do anything, even eat or drink. She remains incapacitated for almost a week, but after that she is able to care for herself, for the most part.

Personality: Raven is very determined and intelligent. She is also a ferocious fighter and ,due to her determination, will never run from a fight, unless Oceanis drags her away. When she has time to herself, she reveals a gentler side to her personality by playing with the children that seem to flock around her and telling them stories. She tends to reveal a maternal and protective side when she rushes to the aid of a child in need or to prevent one from being injured. Since she travels a lot with Oceanis, Raven makes maps of where she has been. When she goes into a city or town, she takes her mapmaking kit with her, so she can make a detailed chart of the buildings, shops, and general layout of the city or town she is in. She has found that this helps her to identify escape routes and possible locations for a trap in case she were to ever have to visit the same place more than once. (A dangerous thing to do with Galbatorix looking for you.)At times Raven will just go quiet and pensive for no apparent reason. When this happens she thinks about deep things and more often than not, what to do next in her quest with Oceanis to find a Rider for Oceanis's sibling. When she's not fighting, playing or thinking, Raven practices her skills with magic, swordfighting, and archery, because she is determined to be in top form when the time comes for her to face Galbatorix.

Village: Silthrim

History: Raven was born in the elves' city of Silthrim. When she was 6 yrs old, her father and mother moved their family to the city Aroughs, where her father concealed the fact that he was an elf and Rider, while they passed the Varden information about the cities weaknesses. Somehow Galbatorix learned that they were there and came to either force her father to serve him, or to kill him. When he refused to serve Galbatorix, Galbatorix fought with him and killed him. Gerandor, her father's dragon, attacked in his grief over his rider, and was slain by Shruikan. Raven's mother (who was a human) fled with her young daughter to the city of Osilon, where a friend of Raven's father lived, and left her in their care. Then her mother left to avenge her father and never returned. In the years that followed Raven trained with numerous blademasters, so that she might avenge her parent's death.

While she was out hunting one day, she stumbled upon a wounded dragon. The dragon, Greentalon, asked her to care for her two remaining eggs. Ten of the original twelve had been smashed in an attack by Urgals. Raven took the eggs and was astonished when as soon as she touched her egg, Oceanis hatched for her. While her dying mother looked on, Oceanis gave Raven the Gedwey Ignasia on her left palm. Soon after she found Oceanis, Raven left Du Weldenvarden in the hopes that she might find a rider for the purple egg, the last remaining sibling of Oceanis. The last eight years have been hard and the danger was only getting worse before Galbatorix died. With his death Raven is not in quite as much danger as she has been in the past.

Not long ago Raven and Oceanis encountered the Riders Suvana and Corido, and their respective partners Freed and Ser'lla. Sadly the meeting was not a happy one, the Shade Zalda had just stolen the egg containing Oceanis's brother. During the fight to retrieve the egg Raven slipped into her Bloodwrath state. While Oceanis was restraining the power of the Bloodwrath and their friends were busy getting away from her crazed Rider, Zalda managed to escape with the egg. In the time since then, they have heard nothing of Zalda, but they have managed to run into their old friends.

Recently, with the death of Galbatorix, Raven has been able to attempt something she has been thinking of doing for awhile: building a school for Riders. She has noticed in her travels that young dragons and Riders alike are common in the land, much more so than previously believed after Galbatorix's scourge. It is her dream now to build a school for these youngsters to come and hone their skills before being sent into the eastern lands to complete their tutelage.

Dreams: With Galbatorix dead, much of the thirst for violence she once felt has abated. Now she only truly wishes to be a teacher to the young, though she will not hesitate to take up her sword again if need be. She has never forgotten Oceanis's lost brother, nor will she until he is safe again.

Reasons for Dreams: Galbatorix and Shruikan are dead, and life goes on. She refuses to be chained to her past by bitter feelings that she was not the one to kill them herself. Instead, she will look to the future and help try to create a better one, and a better future includes Oceanis's rescued brother.

Companions: Oceanis and the falcon Shrel

Weapons: Her fathers old Riders sword, the blade is blue with a silver pommel, with a black leather grip, a saphire on the end of the pommel, and the sheath is black leather with silver and black belt. The saphire on the pommel of Kveykva (her father's sword) is saturated with both Raven's and Oceanis's energy. The saphire is gripped between the teeth of a dragon's head shaped out of silver, unlike the usual ribbing on other Rider's swords. Her bow is made of yew, with the Liduen Kvaedhi runes for accuracy and strength inlaid in silver and white gold. Her arrows are white oak, fletched with feathers from Shrel, and also have the rune for accuracy carved onto them.

Name: Oceanis

Gender: female

Age: 8 years

Appearance: Oceanis's scales are a very deep blue, with a hint of pale grey. She is 150ft in length with a wingspan of 295ft. At the top of her shoulder to the pad of her foot, she is 25ft tall. Her eyes are her most striking feature, they are a deeper blue than her scales and are always sparkling, like she's laughing at something on the inside. Oceanis is very fit and agile, most likely due to how she was raised, always on the run. All in all Oceanis is a very well put together dragon. (Privately Raven thinks she's the most beautiful dragoness out of all the one's they've encountered.) Her talons, teeth, and the spikes on her back are all a bright, very clean white.

Dreams: Oceanis is very fond of this school idea of Raven's and is quite happy to help her Rider in building it, but her one true dream now that the black king and his dragon are dead, is to rescue her brother.

Reasons for Dreams: Her brother is the only family she has left, she refuses to leave him in the clutches of the Shade Zalda.

At the moment, Oceanis is in the far northern reaches of the Spine, working to build up an ancient outpost of the Riders into a school for young dragons and their Riders, maybe even a few unbonded dragons and exceptional young spellweavers.

Personality: She is almost exactly like Raven in personality. Where Raven tends to look for fights, Oceanis tries to avoid them. She is very gentle and caring by dragon standards, but when angered she is a fearsome creature. If she were to sucumb to Raven's mind during a Bloodwrath, her gentle nature would be overrun, so she does her best to suppress the majority of the extra power that Raven recieves during the process. The caring side of her personality causes her extreme stress whenever Raven enters a city where she can't accompany her, because she can't bear to be without her rider. On the rare occasions that Oceanis and her Rider aren't on the move, she likes to sit quietly and listen to the birds sing. Occasionally she'll work on her strength and endurance in the air by lifting heavy stones in her talons and flying as high and far as she can with them. Whenever she's not training, listening to the wildlife, or moving on to the next city, Oceanis creates art using the fire from her belly and stones from around their campsites. Whenever Oceanis goes hunting, she never takes a female of whatever she's hunting, in case it has a baby. Instead she only takes males or the infirm.

Looks: Has Blue pants and shirt with a hood. Has a tan, is slim, wears black gloves a lot, very muscular, a scar on his back and a yawe on left shoulder. He wears black shoes. Has diamonds in ears. His secret about them is that he keeps some energy in them so he can use them in great need. CLOTHES IN BATTLE; Has Silver armor that is damaged all over,dragon head shaped helmet, and wears a long black cape that has hole in it. A belt with daggers in it and dagger tied on his leg. Black boots.

Face and head: angular like most elves. Scar on his jaw. Long jet-black hair

Eyes: Blue,deep with age.

Family: Ancestor of Eragon the first, Parents Leona (mother) and Gilderien (father) brother of Vrail and elf maiden wife Selena.

Good personality: Kind, understanding, is polite when people ask him for advice and ways helps the less fortunate. He doesn’t talk much. he thinks about his brother a lot. He likes too teaching.

Bad personality: Gets mad easily. What ever you do don't ask him about his family he goes ballistic. The only person he allows to is Eridor and his wife to talk about his family with him.

Skills: sneaking around, he is very flexible, swordsmenship, magic and dragon riding.

Likes: Ellesmera, his wife Selena, his friend Faolin, his friend's dragon Galador and dragon Eridor.

Dislikes: Galbatorix.

Dreams of future: Wants kill Galbatorix and go back on his quest with Eridor and his dragon rider friend Faolin.

Reason for dreams: Killed all the dragon riders and his brother. He liked being on his quest with Eridor and Faolin because he gets to talk with them a lot.

History: Fanil heard at a young age that his mother died right after he was born
and that his father left Ellesmera the same day. His brother Vrail raised until he was
old enough to take care of himself. Fanil was always training his swordsmanship with
his good friend Faolin(who just became a rider in traing).One day a dragon egg hatched
for Fanil. Fanil started his training at the age of 20.Together Fanil and Faolin trained to become riders. Fanil and Faolin where the best students in there class. Fanil found out about his magical powers one week after Faolin did. Fanil and Faolin became riders after only 6 years because they where such good students. At the age of 201 he became an elder. He was called into a battle one day. The enemies who wanted to destroy the riders because they wanted to rule alagaesia had created an army. Fanil and eridor(his dragon) slew countless enemies. He even killed a Ra'zac. While he was in battle he saw that his friend was battling a shade and no one there to help. He and eridor flew Fanil so he could Faolin.( Eridor had to help some one (Faolin's dragon couldn't help Faolin because if he did the three other riders he was helping would have been killed). While they where trying to slay the shade a Kull was sneaking up on them. Together Fanil and Faolin killed the shade. Right after that happened the Kull made a big cut on his back (which is how he got his scar).
While Fanil was unconscious Faolin had carried him out of the battle area. When Fanil regained conscious he was in a bed. The battle was over. As soon as he was feeling better he got back into his position as a elder. When he came back to his position as an elder they talked about their victory and how Fanil and Faolin had killed the shade alone. Then one day two riders (Galbatorix and his friend) who just became riders went on journey. They hadn't come back. And then a year later a farmer summoned the riders. It was the same rider who went on the journey. While he slept for three days the elders talked about him and what happened to his, dragon, his friend and his friend's dragon. When Galbatorix woke up he went to the elders requesting another dragon. He and the other elders said no. After a few days he announced that he wanted to wanted to find his father.So he decided to go on a journey. Faolin asked if he could come with him. Fanil said that he could. So the two friends were out on a their journey when they got called back to ellesmera because Galbatorix killed all the riders (including Vrail). And since then they have been fighting Galbatorix ever since. And when Jeod and Brom went to steal the eggs from galbatorix he helped them. He found a place in the spine on one of his quests in where few dragons still remain. There Fanil's dragon mated with a dragon named Lenora. Because Lenora was one of there own friends the other dragons agreed to help the elves, human and dwarves to defeat Galbatorix.Eridor and Fanil were about to leave to Ellesmera with Lenora when Lenora had eggs. With the new dragon eggs they went to Ellesmera. They told Izalandi about the other dragons in the spine. That night there was celebration and feasts upon feasts. The elves sent 2 of the eggs to the varden and kept two for them selves. Now they wait for a dragon egg to hatch for some one.

So I just remembered that when the Earth was still young and dinosaurs roamed the land, I made a post for an rpg charry. Lol, it still hasn't been accepted. I changed a couple of things, so can somebody take a look?

How is that? I tried to expand on the personalities, but I'm not sure if it was enough... Lol, I definitely expanded on the history and skills parts.
