My language arts teacher was telling us some crap about how organization is one of God's great gifts and we should use it well, and one of the five or six atheists in the class spoke up and said, "Well, what if we're atheist?" The teacher stared at her and said, "You're ATHEIST?! What the hell is wrong with you, girl?" Three kids came up and started to beat the crap out of her <_________<. But then the principal came by, and the three guys were suspended for 2 weeks. While all this was going on, I put a tack in her seat ^_____________________^

What all you people are forgetting is this: The U.S. is "One nation under God", and the Constitution holds to the right of Free Speech.

and while i don't beleive in atheism, that was a very poor way of responding to it. there are far better ways of challenging athiesm

What's the point of challenging atheism in the first place, though? If people don't believe in God, that's their choice. If people believe in 200 Gods, that's their choice. If people believe in one, then once again, it's their choice. I don't see why any religion should be challenged anyway, unless said religion told people to be violent etc toward other people.

you're right, it is everyones choice to beleive in a god, or God, but they can't all be right. obviously. so that's like saying, "ok, everyone run through this minefield, thiers only one safe way through. if you search, you can find the right one, but if you want to, go with the one that just suits who you are and your personality best."

wow, thats horrible. theres nothing wrong with being athiest, i cant belive somebody would do that, let alone a teacher. she should have been fired. Athiest isnt bad at all, and while i dotn belive in it, there is lots of evidence that its true so you cant say somethings wrong with them if they belive in it.

ok, so a big enough move: new school, new people, etc. not a whole new part of the country, but still. hope that goes well, and that you get settled in well!!

i was pretty annoyed: today is the one day i don't have soccer practice (besides weekends) and i had little homework and got out of school around 20 minutes early, but i didn't get home till an hour after i got out. i only live 10 minutes away from school, but i had to wait nearly half an hour before my brother got out. school had ended for him like 20 minutes earlier, but he said he "couldn't get to his locker because it was crowded". ugghh, i was so annoyed. i also lost time before that becuase my mom could't pick me up right away because my g-ma was getting a sore on her leg checked out. i wasn't annoyed by that, though.

Why is she on life support?

some thing to do with her brain, and she can't breath when she sleeps. other then that I havent been told any thing.
