OOC: Made this because I was bored, open to all.

Ranog rode through the cold rocky trails that were mainly used for hunting, but his was a different mission. His was one of revenge.

Ranog had never seen such a sight before in all his life, the bodies of dwarven men, women, and children were strewn all over the small dwarven village that was his home. He had done nothing more than go out hunting for the giant boar to send to the poor of his clan, but after he left, something bad happened. He returned two days later, with a huge boar, almost too large for Urson to carry. But when they walked into town, no one was there, when they went into the small temple, no one was there. Immediately, Ranog was on alert, his mattok at the ready. He kept Urson close by in case he needed a quick get away, but he never saw an enemy. He got to the center of the town and walked into the courtyard, and saw. The dwarved had been systematically killed, some by magic, others by sword and some even by claws and teeth, huge claws and teeth, the claws and teeth of a dragon. His thoughts immediately turned to Murtagh and Galbatorix, but he knew they did not have the skill to kill all the dwarves in a city. Then he continued to think, he ran through the list of all the enemies he had made who either were a dragon or were a rider and he could think of none. He casted a small spell and drew upon the energy of the trees and animals around him for it and buried the dwarves with magic, all in one mass grave. Then he turned and left, never looking back.

It was three weeks later. He was unable to track them without magic, but he had plenty of energy stored in the rubies he had with him so he made out alright. He had not eaten for five days and hadn't had anything to drink for two. He was weak, but his anger and bitterness had forced him on. He had gleaned some information from the birds in the area, it seemed that the rider was a shade and the dragon was a small female, Ranog would find and have his revenge.

OOC: BTW, the rider is Arnon and the dragon is Tamar.

OOC: I am not mad about it, and sure you can join.

OOC: Yes, he is and he is riding an Felduonost.

IC:
When he saw the rider and the dragon, Ranog picked up his pace, hoping to catch them. When the rider jumped down, he yelled angrily and rode toward him as fast as possible, with his spear pointing at the rider's heart. He yelled as he rode, "THIS IS FOR MY FAMILY!!!!" And rode, but at the last minute, Urson, his felduonost turned and said to Ranog,

These aren't the two, I got a good smell of the murders in the town, these two are different. They are not those who we are after.

Ranog looked ar Urson angrily and said, "You could not have told me earlier!" He jumped off of Urson's back and walked stiffly over to the rider. "Sorry." He mumbled, then sat down. His thirst and hunger had finally taken their toll on the dwarf. He said, "... Do you have any food, or water, I think I may die without them."

OOC: Well, pm me the pic and say what you want and I will edit it and pm you the Url to use.

OOC: What do you mean picture?

IC:
"It has been abotu three weeks. But, I don't know the size or the speed of their dragons, so they could be just over the next hill, or they could be over the great sea in another land by now. There are too many things that could have happened." Said Ranog as he rode Urson. He laughed aloud and said, "Dragons are fast in the air, but for mountain travel, nothing beats a felduonost, and Urson is the best of them all." At that moment, Urson morethan doubled his speed and was nothing more than a blur jumping from rock to rock.

OOC: Nice post, see its a matter of sort of practice, as you gain experience you start posting longer and stiff like that, im still not good at it...

IC:
The next morning, Ranog woke up. He felt very refreshed and rested. He felt the strength returning to his armd and legs. He stood up and said to Urson, We should get tracking soon, but I will let the other two rest, they look tired.

Urson nodded his head in understanding and walked over to the hnearby stream to get some water.

Ranog, while the other two were asleep and as Urson was getting a drink, set about pulling out two loaves of bread from the rider's pack and set one beside the rider and ate the other. He packed up their small camp and muttered his spell to track the evil rider and dragon. After Urson returned, Ranog shook the rider untill he woke. "Wake up, we need to get moving, early mornign isn't a good time to waste, lets go." He mounted Urson and waited on the other two.

OOC: I know its hard not to, but try not to "god-mod".

IC:
Tamar growled threateningly at the pair, her shadows were writhing around her like snakes, abosrbing most of their attacks. She circled them, waiting for an opening, then, she sent some of her shadows behind the pair and used them to attack.

Arnon laughed as the naurogarm tried to use its fire on him. He simply placed a spell upon the naurogarm and threw it into a nearby tree. He smiled when he heard it's back crack upon the tree. Then he turned his attention to the rider and dragon. He said, "thrysta'skulblaka" and waited for the magic to take its affect, it would not do much, in fact if they had the strength it would do nothing at all, but it could distract them and that was all Tamar needed.

When Zelyts was flung into the tree, his back crunched horribly, he lay there temporarily paralized(sp), hoping not to draw any attention to himself.

Ranog yelled as he swung his mattok at the shade's head, but let out a yell of surpise when the shade caught the haft of his mattok and threw both him and the weapon some fifteen feet away.

OOC: God-modding is controling my charry in any way, such as: Tamar used his tail and knocked back Zeridor and then charged towards Verdel.

Also, Tamar is a female dragon.

IC:
Arnon slashed at the dwarf again, and suprisingly missed. He angrily yelled at the dwarf, annoyed at the agility and speed of the dwarf. He cut the dwarf across the arm, lightly, then murmured a small spell, and immediately, both he and Tamar disappeared into a cloud of smoke.

Tamar roared her anger when both she and Arnon escaped she said, "Why did you take us out, we were doing fine.

Ranog sat down after the evil pair disappeared. He casted a small healing spell over both himself, Zelyts, and Verdel and Zeridor. Then he said, "We drove them back, but they re not defeated, we are a long way from that."

Zelyts felt the healing magic come and help his back. He limped over to the dwarf and said, "I don't know if this is stil such a good idea."

OOC: Its ok, just warning you because some people really take offence to that.

"No, their power comes from their connection with the shadow realm. That is why shades alone are so tough, but add the power a one hundred year old rider attains to that, and you have Arnon and Tamar."

Zelyts changed into his dragon form and said, We need to rest for a while before we attack them again, I don't know what broke, but something is wrong with my back.

OOC: They realy aren't all that powerful, I was just being dramatic.

IC:
"Not any that I could contact, they are all much too far away. We will have to do this ourselves." Said Ranog to the elf. He said, "The best thing we can do for now is rest up and re-gain our strength, until then we will wait." said the dwarf as he lay on his back and prepaired to go to sleep.

Ranog is right, we are in no fit state to hunt them, my back is still badly bruised and sore, we will have to wait.

OOC: Pass.

I understand. Ok so what should we do in the mean time? I could go hunting if it will help. I can get water and maybe you could start a fire. What do you think?

OOC: I know it is short I got stuck.

Then Verdel and Zeridor did as they said and came back to camp and started a fire. Wow that was actually kinda hard becasue I did not use magic and you did not sneeze, Verdel said chuckling. yes but lets go to sleep, I'm really tired. Well said good night.

IC:
"How can I know?" asked Ranog oas he continued to ride Urson toward their enemies. He searched ahead with his mind and saw nothing out of the ordinary, but he was still wary.

OOC: Pass.

IC:Verdel Jumped over to the shadows and slashed at them but it did nothing. One shadow knocked him back and knew what to do. "Garzla" shouted Verdel and the shadows went back under ground and left. Verdel arew they ok? Yes but we should wait here until they wake up. Understood.

OOC: All I can say about it. I hope I beat them the right way because I can edit it. Is only certain ways you can beat them.

OOC: Not really, but the only way to kill them is with light or light magic.

IC:
Ranog woke, with his hear aching horribly. He sat up slightly and said to the elf, "Water ... I need some water, and some bread ... AH! my head is throbbing." said the dwarf irritably. He, after getting refreshed by the bread and water limped over to Urson who was still out cold. He muttered a quick healing spell and healed the felduonost's wounds, none of them were major, but there were quite a few of them. After that, he walked back over to the rest. He said, "What happened, after I passed out?

Nothing much really happened. Once you passed out I ran up to the shadows and scared them off. I fear that they could come back so we should get going as soon as your ready to. Ill look around to see if they are coming back.

Ok so what shall we do while we are here, Verdel said as he dismounted Zeridor. Well I shall go catch some deer. Zeridor flew off out into the woods. Verdel sat down and took food out of his own pack. So what do you normaly do up her besides hunt?

Maybe we could mine some of them and use them to store energy to fight Arnon and Tamar. Then when we get tired we can use one of them and maybe just maybe we could win. I'm back. So what happened while I was gone.

IC: Well then I better start putting energy into these. Verdel focused and put half of his energy into one of the rubys and Zeridor did the same for the rubys. That shoud be enough for now but I'll put more in it later. So what should we do now? Yes I am getting bored. I wish I could just tear Arnon and Tamar to shreds.

Verdel and Zeridor did as they were told and went to sleep until the next day in the morning they awoke. Lets wait until ranog comes to wake us up. We need our rest. Ya your right, Verdel said. Then he said "Slytha" and both him and Zeridor fell asleep.

Ok so I guess we are leaving. It seems so. Verdel mounted Zeridor and flew into the air and looked back as the hut turned into a boulder. Wow that is amazing. Magic always suprises you. Yes it always seems to suprise me no matter what I expect. So where are we going?

How tough are these shrrg anyway? Not tough enough to take on a dragon. Hey your not that old. I bet that shrrg is older than you. Hmph probably.

Well should we at least set up camp for the night? After what you said about those shrrg I think ill be staying up here on Zeridor. If they do attack I'll be sure to fly extra low. You better not, any way what do you think?

Hey Zeridor do you know how that Razac even got out here in the first place? I have no clue, do you Ranog? I thought Razac did not like the cold. Wait if there are Razac there are probably Lethrblaka too. We'd better keep our eyes open. Im going to go train my magic. Verdel walked up to a tree and sat down. He concentrated and said "Garzla" and a ball of light shot forward and hit a nearby tree and burned it.

Ok then I will keep a look out. Verdel un-sheathed his green sword and what ever light there was reflected of the sword. That did not go as planed. "Garzla Letta" the light stoped reflecting of the sword. Sorry about that. Verdel took a quick glance around and seeing no danger returned his attention to Ronog. I will go get a birds eye view. Well more like a dragons eye view but you get my point.

Verdel saw a Razac run out of the forest. Verdel took his sword and slashed at the Razac but it parried.The Razac stabbed at his chest but Verdel jumped to the side with milimeters to spare. He slahed his sword one last time and slashed the Razac in the neck and took its head off. Are you ok Verdel? Yes Im fine keep your eyes open they are here.

OOC: Ignasia, it is your turn.

Verdel told Zeridor to fly into the air and attack from the sky. He swung his sword killing multiple razac. One almost got him from behind but he swung his sword around and stabed it. Verdel focused his energy and yelled, BRISINGR!!!! Many of the razac around him were killed and he fainted from the loss of energy.

OOC: Who is David?

IC:
Ranog continued his relentless attack, despite the raking claws and stabbing beaks. The Raz'ac leapt at him as well as the lethre'blaka, but he could not be stopped. He swung his fist arounnd and connected with the beak of a Raz'ac, his "fists of steel" breaking the beak and maiming the Raz'ac badly. He swung his mattok around and killed the beast as it clutched its bleeding face.

OCC:oh my bad, ive gotten more used to writting my real name. oops Ill edit it.
