Ooc - Kenya was accepted but not moved, so I'm posting anyway even though her bio hasn't been moved.

Kenya moved through the sleeping city silently. She wasn't noticed by the few who were still up, either selling smuggled goods or just out to cause trouble. The only sound that alerted anyone about her presence was the occasional ruffle or quiet whoosh of her clothes being it by wind. Her feet were light and lithe as she moved carefully over the roof tops. Her destination was in the most dangerous part of the city, and the most protected. She had accepted the job just like any other, but this one was different, she could feel it.


If she didn’t know any better, she’d say the place was a fortress with the amount of guards and protection set up around it. Hidden in the shadows on the roof of a much lower house, she drew one of her throwing knives silently. The entrance she had picked as her exit was guarded by two men. It was much higher up the mansion. Kenya soundlessly leapt to on of the balconies. She carefully climbed onto it and threw the knife, hitting the guard in his throat; killing him almost instantly.

Kenya scaled up the wall and broke the other guard’s neck before he could make any sort of alarm sound. She entered through the small doorway and found herself in a rather large study. She slinked over to the door and cracked it open. The hallway was empty. Hearing the sound of two more guards, she swung from a torch holder and grabbed a wooden beam on the ceiling. Moving herself on top of it, she waited for them to pass and turn the corner at the end of the hall.

She jumped down lightly; barely any sound came from it. Taking a deep breath she headed in the opposite direction, finally coming to her wanted destination. She removed her head, always liking to have her victim know who their murderer was before they died. Walking quietly over to the sleeping man, she looked at his face. It could almost be considered peaceful, but he had done too many wrongs to ever be at peace. Kenya woke him up quietly, pointing her short sword at his neck.

“You’ve done too many wrongs to too many people; I’ve come here to collect what is rightfully theirs. You head.” She said emotionless, watching as his expression turned to fear. “You can’t be the Ghost Assassin; you’re just a silly little gir-“ He didn’t have time to finish his sentence, for he was dead. Kenya hated it when her victims thought that a woman could be more skillful then themselves.

She searched him over until she found the pendant that had previously been around his neck. Slipping it into a small pouch she walked over to the window, looking up at the moon.

Kenya heard the small, almost inaudible sound of another breathing quietly. She didn't turn around however, merely waiting for the other person to make their presence known. If they didn't, than she'd just leave. After all, her job here was done, and unless her exit was blocked, she wouldn't take anymore lives tonight. The quiet sound of someone landing from a high perch hit her ears and she turned around slowly. Completely at ease, knowing that she wasn't in any danger. After all, she was highly train.

"No, but I can see you're split." She said referring to the fact that there was part Shade in the woman. Kenya's eyes swept over the woman, making sure that she wouldn't have too much trouble getting away if she needed to. Sensing that the woman put her guard up, letting her Shade instincts kick in didn't bother Kenya. This was her life, so she was at perfect ease. "I'm terribly sorry, as a bounty hunter I hope you understand." Her tone was blank, for the womans clothes gave away her station. "As an assassin I prefer to kill my victims, so I'm glad I got the chance before you did. I'm terribly sorry if it ruined your plans, but you can collect the money for his head." She smiled, knowing he did have a fat price hanging over his head. "After all, I don't have any use for it."

Kenya wasn't really one to show her emotions, she usually covered them with her hard exterior. Her small smile wasn't a real one, but it wasn't meant for mocking either. "I'm only in it to see the fear in their eyes right before I take their lives." She cocked her head slightly, her voice slightly on the creepy side. "I have to say I admire you for being a bounty hunter, I doubt I could ever stay with that job."

"I don't really care who it is, I've done a few jobs for Galbatorix himself. Though I've refused to kill anyone I deem good, but luckily he values me as a good enough assassin to keep me alive and kill his own who he thinks have turned against him. Though I can disappear without a trace." Kenya said slightly amused when Galbatorix had tried getting her killed, only to realize she was a better ally. He didn't know that she'd turn on him and work for the Varden, she didn't exactly like his rule.

"Well that definately makes more sense," she said with a slight nod. "I'm pleased to make your acquaintance, and I do think I've heard of you; but you're always portrayed as a scary and terrifying bounty hunter who is extremely well trained. I guess now those are exaggerations, though I don't doubt your skill. I would hate to be on your bad side in a duel." Kenya cracked a small barely visible smile, but it was there and it was a real smile, not the ones she put on for show.

"I agree, that is why I prefer to kill them right after I wake them up. I won't be surprised to see if Galbatorix sends me after you, but meeting you in person, I think I have a good reason to stay away from you. After all you are someone dangerous." Kenya said, hearing the guards coming for their rounds. Why should she worried, she was perfectly safe. "I think it best to move on before we get caught, even though they are easy opponents, I'd rather not leave a trace." She said as the guards were just a few steps away, but her tone sounded more bored than afraid.

Kenya didn't move from her spot as Reb climbed up into the rafters, well hidden. Sensing someone much stronger than the mere guards interested her, and she felt like having some fun. She laughed inside at the irony of the situation as Leth, the person that Reb mentioned, came through the door. "Well I do have to say this is a pleasure," she bowed mockingly towards them. "I've never actually had someone to put up a good fight. So this shall be fun." She laughed darkly when the soldiers ditched their spots and fled from the room, afraid for their lives. Knowing perfectly well what would happen if they stayed near Kenya.

Kenya watched the exchange, her strange gray eyes almost glowing. "Oh come on, don't be so harsh." She said in mock hurt, not caring what Leth said, just wanting to get her wound up. "True, true, but that doesn't mean that it wouldn't be fun. After all, Galbatorix should know by now not to send someone when I'm busy and getting rid of someone unwanted." Her voice had turned dark, she didn't like being interupted. Reb was fine, but Leth had made a bad move by coming.

Kenya was still throwing snide remarks back at Leth's, not really paying much attention to what Reb was doing. It was certainly a big shock to see flames whoosh past her and wrap around Reb's legs like snakes would around a pillar. Kenya had seen many things, but this was by far the most super natural to her and she leapt back in surprise. She watched as Reb seemed to get more energy from the fire.

This was definately out of her league and she felt a bit perturbed. She had no experiance in magic what so ever and knew she wouldn't last long against someone skilled with it. Most of the time she made up in that weakness in her exremely high skill with steel weapons, but it would be no good against a magician. She'd tried magic once before, found it too hard, and simply gave up. Kenya watched coolly at what would happen next, knowing she should probably leave them well alone, it wasn't her buisness after all.

OC:Im gonna join in since my second character was just accepted.

Kuja looked to the side of Selris as they were flying overhead of a town. What is it?, The white dragon asked. Kuja smiled slightly, "I guess this wont be as boring as I thought, Galbatorix's needs has gotten tedious but at least tonight there will be a bit of fun." Selris looked down, I see, a dragon and a rider.

"They dont seem to be going anywhere, lets introduce ourselves, shall we?" Selris turned his head, Dont overdo it, Galbatorix was furious from that last town you "visited". "Heh, let the old fool bark. Land." Selris flew downward towards the entrance of the town. Kuja dismounted and began walking in with Selris behind him. People seem to be frantic from the other dragon that was here.
They reached the building where many soldiers were gathered around and the sound of fighting was occuring. "What are the fools doing? They expect to stand a chance...how amusing. Let us wait for them to exit, I'd rather not barge in like those idiots." Selris merely replied, Agreed.

Kenya coughed slightly from the smoke and jumped back. She hadn't interfered since it was obviously something between the two, she watched as Leth was forcefully brought out of the room from the few guards that had remained. Either it was loyalty or stupidity, she didn't care. She watched Reb disappear into the rafters again and could only assume that she was making her way to the roof for an escape. Kenya shrugged slightly, she wasn't exactly done here, there were just a few loose ends she had to tie up.

She walked over to the desk that had scrolls and ink littered over it. She began to go through the drawers, getting slightly frustrated. "Where is it?" she asked herself. Kenya stood up instantly, the feeling of unease washed over her and she knew something was wrong. She could hear some sort of disturbance out side. Quickly she went back to her search, hoping she'd make it out of there in time. Abandoning the desk she began to hurriedly pull random books off the shelf and sort through them quickly. "Stupid logs...where are they?" she muttered and began to go faster in her search.

Kenya was in a rage, the logs were obviously gone. Anything that wasn't too heavy she threw across the room in anger. Whoever took the logs, obviously didn't want them to be seen. She took one of the torches in the wall and started to light everything on fire. The bed went up in flames instantly and began to spread to the tapestries on the wall. Feeling anger she went back over to the window, the sound of dragons roaring got her attention and instead of leaving like she should have, she began to climb her way to the roof.

Smoke began to spill out behing her from the window. Soon she had climbed to the roof, but didn't climb on. She was amazed at what she saw in front of her. Two dragons, Reb, and a dark looking man. She shuddered involentarily and her heart beat seemed to pick up speed unwillingly. Either way she shouldn't be there, but her curiosity kept her frozen to the side of the roof, imobile.

Kenya slowly came back to her senses. Quickly she ducked her head from view before calculating the outcome if she helped. It seemed that it would end in their favor, but then again, he looked rather powerful. Muttering to herself how one day her curiousity would kill her, just like it did the cat, she leapt soundlessly onto the roof. "Now why in the world would old Galby send one of his most highly recognized men?" she asked Kuja coyly, her stance seemingly at perfect ease.

OC: Just need to remind ya that Kuja is not an elf. He's half and half. Even though he killed his shade part he still has it's appearances.

OOC: I know that, but unless you want me to call him a shade then I'll call him an elf... What do you want me to call him anyway?

OC:Point taken...well you could just go with just go with him/he or just his name.
Hell, I'll throw a couple insults in like stupid hybrid or half-breed.

Ooc - Star I think its your turn.

Kenya was too shocked to move. She had seen magic before, some by Galbatorix himself, but it was always small and nothing big. What Kuja was doing frightened her, and she was hardly ever frightened. She looked around desperately, but kept it hidden behind a mask of furry. She hadn't done anything to Kuja, and here he was attacking her. It wasn't like she wanted to be in the middle of this fued. Just before the deadly blast hit them, she had the strangest sensation and found herself on a few rooftops away. Now she was really irked.

Kenya felt a rage build in her against Kuja, she just wished Kuja was grounded just like she was. She only had one silver arrow, and she knew it would be a waste against him. There was nothing she could do yet, but stand idly, wishing for some sort of way to be fighting agianst him, but she didn't know magic, and that thought scared her.

OOC: Ignore much? I just fired an arrow at your chest on my previous post.

Kenya was still too shocked to do much but stand there. Never in her life had she seen much magic of this calibur done so quickly and so precisely. She quickly dove for cover in some of the rubble that used to be a city. The whole thing lay to waste as she watched buildings burn and people run from the city screaming, hoping to escape this battle goind on between the group of foes. Personally Kenya would rather leave with them, she wasn't much of a fighter when it came to magic and she knew she couldn't do much until the fight was over.

Smoke began to thicken the air and she chocked on it slightly. She watched Kuja and Reb fighting, trying to think of a way she could help. What in the world could I do against them? she asked herself dismally. I'm neutral party, I don't want to get involved. She thought stubbornly. Finding her one of her throwing knives, she had an idea. "This should slow you down," she said quietly as she laced the knife with oil and lit it on fire. Quickly taking her bow out she rigged it to it and shot it. The knife flew threw the air in such precisness that it had turned invisible as it headed towards Kuja's leg.

OOC: Daidrea, your turn

Kenya's stubborn mind was having a hard time wrapping around everything that was happening. As the city rubble turned to dust and blackened voids opened up, she quickly jumped to her feet. She didn't know much magic, but she could fight of these people like creatures to let the others take down Kuja. Kenya withdrew her long sword and began to hack away at the zombish creatures, buying time for the others to take Kuja down. I just hope I can last long enough, she thought to herself and dove head first into a tight throng of the creatures.

Kenya barely noticed the horse come close to her. She was too absorbed battling against the dark creatures. They were truly hideous, and they put up a good fight. She had to start going into her reserves, soon she had to split her long sword into two seperate, very thin, swords. It was a clash of metal, the swoosh of her blades surprisingly very audible. She needed help, she needed a mount. Glancing around, she noticed Cobalt, Rebs horse. Without a second thought she leapt to his back. Now that she had a vantage point, she hoped the horse would heed her for now. She urged him forward into the creatures, driving them back to let the other two women get rid of Kuja. "Can you please hurry it up! I can't keep these things off forever!" she shouted to the two.

"Get over yourself Kuja! Just go and leave us alone! You've got too much darkness for my taste, and if I report you to Galbatorix, he'll be ticked off with what you're doing!" she screamed at Kuja, though doubted intimidation would work on him. Kenya was fairly sure that he knew he could take advantage over her, she knew he could, and was a bit afraid of it.

Eriel shot Kuja a glare as he disappeared into the portal.

"Well... What do we do now? I would really suggest getting out of here before HE comes... with THEM... and THEY." Eriel asked Reb, sending images of Galbatorix, the Ra'zac and his army.

OOC: Short one.

Kenya was very surprised when everything suddenly just disappeared. She looked around, Kuja was gone, what was left of the city was back, but more importantly they were okay. She dismounted Cobalt and walked over to Reb and Eriel. "That pigheaded idiot, he really needs his ego deflated." She said while retrieving the dagger she'd thrown at him. "Honestly, he thinks he can just do whatever he wants!" she was a little annoyed with him right now.

Pass for now.

"Don't you dare accuse me of working for him! I'm not one of his meaningless brutes! I only take the jobs I want, I'm a complete neutral party. I never reveal anything about the Varden to Old Galby, and nothing about Old Galby to the Varden. Of course both parties get frustrated and hate that, but I'm too good of an assassin to be cut off." Kenya quickly defended her name. "You probably wouldn't understand it, but I won't ask you to." She added while looking over at Eriel. "Thank you for your offer, but no." Kenya closed her eyes and let out a high toned call. Out of the rubble came a dark and wild looking horse, almost rabid. "Hello Deyl'on," she greeted her horse in a very soothing tone. She continued to speak soft and gentle words before mounting him with all the care possible. It made it seem so impossible that she was a cruel murderer.

OOC: Daidrea, it's your turn... Or are you passing too?

Kuja landed near the back of the army surrounding the city. "I think I will observe how they handle themselves.

"Right then. Let's head up to Carvahall. It's the safest location in the empire for us fugitives, unless any of you have better suggestions?" Eriel asked.

Kenya thought for a moment, wondering if there was a safer place, but came up with nothing. "I suppose that will have to do for now, but we shouldn't stay there for too long. It might risk the lives of the townfolk." She spoke while patting Deyl'on's neck affectionately. She always tried to avoid hurting the innocent, she prefered doling out justice to the cruel and conspiring men.
