Since we have no further information on how CP wants his dragon egss to hatch, I am drawing from this series to that effect. After all he is an Anne MacCaffrey fan.
The point being that once a dragon was with eggs, it could not fight and left its' clutch only to eat. If this is the case in this series, Saphira will need to be there for her eggs until theyare hard enough to either hatch or be given out.

I am doubting Thorn here so I'll say the last dragon...Greenie for short. It seems most likely, especially if the dragon belongs to Arya...but it doesn't have to be. To me it just seems kinda obvious who she will mate with, unless she meets another dragon along her path which is also possible but still I have doubts. I am going to say the next dragon, Greenie.

It may be fate or destiny just depending on what happens and how the story unfolds. Anything could happen between now and the and later...just depends on what CP writes and stuff. well i think that murtagh and thorn will somehow help eragon and saphira when he is fighting galbatorix and then when eragon kills galbatorix they will be released from his bonds so they will be FREEE

murtagh HAD to kill hrothgar!! galbatorix made him do that.. if he was ebil he would have taken eraogon and spahira to galby but he didnt so hes not evil

Murtagh said that his orders were to try to capture Eragon and Saphira, not to kill Hrothgar. He's in the gray, as I've been saying for a while, not evil, not good, but closer to evil. And he willl probably never become good.
