He has a little bit of power already, he persuaded practically the whole of Carvahall to follow him.

If you recall the blessing and speech Garrow gave to Roran and Eragon, (Page 64 of Eragon), he said something that struck me and bothered me until the second book was published. He said: "Consider none your superior, whatever their rank or station in life." If CP was forshadowing both Eragon's and Roran's roots or just Eragon, I do not know. So far I think he was just forshadowing Eragon's origins as the words were directed to him.

so this only puts forward the nagging thought that had been lurking behind my head that maybe Garrow, Selena, Marion and therefore, Roran had noble blood which came from the nobles of old that lived centuries ago in Palancar Valley.

i think roran can get the support of many. although so could nasuada. but i don't know how humans would react to an elf, dwarf or anything else ruling. just cuz thats how humans are. but if it is a human, they will need the support of all groups. and need to be imparcial.

i'm thinking theres an elf ruler, dwarf ruler, and human ruler, and they all rule together. no one higher then the other

how could that work, like if the humans disrespected the elves then the elves could just decide to kill the human leader with magic so that the other humans didn't know it was them.

Then they could vote in a puppet that they could control so they could rule 2/3 of the goverment,then they could do the same for the dwarves and they could......

but Elves are good. and with Eragon and Oromis on the human's side and Murtagh (becasue Oromis would not like it, and murtagh would not like it and eragon would not like it) they could whip any elves butt!

I think that what Incomer may have meant was a coalition as the leadership of the new Alagaesia. We need to keep in mind that for this to work, all parties would need to learn and master the Ancient Language in order for any of them to be unable to utter falsehoods.

he lead a whole village with no training, and there were many older, more experianced men to lead them. so he would lead a country. but yea, they would need to master the anicent langueage, but that does no good with an elf. they say part of the truth, it is not a lie, but only part of the truth. they could (if you could find a human to do this) have them all respectable poeple, who can use magic, then they could enter each others mind to talk. then there could be no lying, even from an elf. also if they put up a barrier in a nonmemory part then they would know its sumtin they should let be seen, but there not.

first off this book isn't set in present day. they didn't just sit around the tv., comp., or game station.
they were always out doing something, useually constuctive.
there for the majority of them were not scrony, or unable to hold their own in a fight.

Incomer, pls don't get me wrong as what I am about to say is not to patronize you. You know I like you loads! As a fully fledged adult, I can talk from experience; Love can move a person in many different ways.
In the series we see how Roran changes from a common typical guy to a killer to save the girl he loves. This is not only in fiction, but in real life. People, male or female, in the name of love, are moved to do wonderous as well as heinious deeds.
If you were to be endangered or attacked in front of your parents, I will bet anything, the would not stop to think what will I do to save my child? They would have a rush from deep down inside to keep you safe, without thinking the consequences for them as persons.
Some people love another in such measure that they would do whatever it is required to keep that person safe. By the same token others "love" so much that they willingly or unwillingly, I don't know, sometimes destroy the spirit of the person upon they have placed their affection.
Others would voluntarily be willing to stop being themselves to conform to their significant others.

So, I think the character of Roran is a very believeable character.
