OCC: This is open for anyone to join. I don't really have a plot planned. I just want to see where this goes. I only ask that you be able to post at least a couple times a week. I hate long waits, especially when things get exciting.

IC:

The morning air was cool and calm and the smell of the sea filled the air as Violeta glided low over the water. It was probably the first time she had seen the sea this calm. The dragoness looked ahead at the rocky cliffs that made up the rugged coastline of Vroengard, looming out of the sea like a sleeping giant. Violeta had a knot in her stomach as she approached the island she used to call home so many years ago. She had not been back since the terrible day that changed her life forever. Today wasn't just any day though, it was the anniversary. Just over a century had passed since the Forsworn had raided the island and the city of Doru Araeba. Since her return to Alagaesia, the lightning dragon wished to return here but had never mustered the guts to do so. She feared it would being back too many memories. Finally she decided it was time to come and pay her respects to her beloved Natagath, as well as the other riders and dragons who had lost their lives in the battle.

To the east, the sun was just beginning to rise over the ocean, sending golden rays of light dancing across the water. Violeta looked at the rocky cliff ahead and flapped her wings twice to gain altitude and clear it. The dragoness flew over the top of the cliff and gently landed with a soft thud in a grassy meadow. Already, the memories were flooding back to her as if it were yesterday. She recognized this meadow. It was where she and her rider would spend their free time together. A great saddness came over Violeta as she turned back toward the sea. There, at the edge of the cliff was a round boulder that Natagath would sit on as a stool. Violeta would lay down beside him and they would watch the sun rise each morning.

The dragoness let out a lonely sigh and sat down next to the boulder.

I miss you so much, Natagath. If only I had been paying more attention... I could have... Oh there I go beating myself up again.

Violeta knew Natagath wouldn't want her to blame herself for what happened but she coudn't help it. As his dragon, it was her duty to protect him with her life and she had failed. However, as she watched the sun rise over the sea, it gave Violeta an uplifting feeling she had not felt in years. Though she had given up hope of seeing her rider again, something deep in her heart told her that Natagath was still alive.

OOC: Do you mind if I join? I want to use two of my characters in this if it is okay.

IC:
Draerr took off his shoes and stepped into the ocean letting the waves beat against his feet. The salty water made his skin itch but it had been so long since he had been in the water and he longed to be back in it. He put his shoes in his bag and looked to the horizon he saw the sun began to rise and he dove into the water and began swimming. A large island loomed in front of him as he swam only coming up for air when he absolutely needed it. He let the water carry him to and fro and enjoyed it as best he could. After he could not bare the itchiness the water made him feel, he ran on the shore of the island and sat on the shore to watch the sun rise in the distance letting his mind wander back to the days when he was with his family.


Saphi stayed close to the shore as she approached Narda careful to avoid all the humans that came in went to the small town. She looked at her surroundings and frowned. She longed to be in the forest among the trees again but she thought she was so desperately close to finding her brother that she dared not stray from her path. She started up her pace again and began running down the shore to the northern part of Alagaesia. She had hoped that after passing Narda, she would cut through the mountains and find any information from the towns that reside there and make a quick stop back to Ellesmera to see if any news had reached the elves of anyone from her family. After running all morning she stopped and decided to take a short break. She looked in the distance and saw the great mass of Vroengard her thoughts altered. She had never been to the site of the fall and had always wanted to go there. She sat down and stared into the distance unsure of what she should do.

OCC: Sure, fine with me.

IC:

After several minutes of sitting quietly next to the boulder, Violeta was about to go and explore the rest of the island when she spotted something or someone climbing out of the water.

Hmm, I wonder who else decided to visit this place today.

Violeta stood up looked down at the beach at the bottom of the cliff. Whoever they were, they were sitting on the beach watching the sunset. This person appeared to be an elf. Violeta was curious and wanted to know who this person was but she wasn't ready to reveal herself yet.

I'll wait and see what he does. she thought to herself and she backed away from the edge of the cliff and out of sight.

OOC: Ok, so in your first post you said sunrise but in your second you said sunset? Confused....

Draerr came back to his senses as the sun rose into the sky and stood up stretching his muscles. He grabbed his bag and began walking inwards to the ruins of Dorú Areaba to witness the remnants of what happened during the fall. He thought he could feel a presence close by but he did not pay too close attention because he expected to encounter several creatures while visiting here. He continued walking inland, taking in all his surroundings and wondered what would have become of the island if history had been different. He stopped at an archway that was crumbling and falling apart and looked past it to what lay before his eyes.

Saphi looked back and forth between Vroengard and The mountains in the distance contemplating what she should do. If there was a chance of finding her brother she dared not go on site seeing explorations but Vroengard has so much history for her race and every elf longs to go there and she is so close. She closed her eyes and took several deep breaths before finally making her decision. She looked at the mountains one last time and took a giant leap into the water swimming to the massive island.

Violeta walked through the ruins of the city, showing Draerr the various landmarks, or at least what was left of them.
Finally they came to a destroyed fountain and Violeta paused her violet eyes fixed firmly on it.

This place... This is where it happened...

She remembered like it was yesterday...


Flashback time:
After being knocked from her back and being injured on impact, Natagath had crawled up to this fountain and sat with his back resting against the side. Before Violeta had a chance to rescue him, one of the dragons that had been turned by Galbatorix pounced on her. The evil dragon rammed Violeta into the ground and attempted to bite her throat, but Violeta used her shock defence to deliver a massive jolt of electricity which stunned the beast. She got to her feet and took a few steps toward her rider when the evil dragon recovered and attacked her again. Violeta fought back and sank her fangs into the dark dragon's neck, poisoning it with her venomous saliva. Still, it continued to put up a fight.

Hold on, Natagath! I'll get you out of here just as soon as I kill this traitor!

Natagath shouted, "No, Violeta, get out of here while you still can! There is nothing more you can do!

Suddenly one of the Forsworn appeared. Apparently it was his dragon that Violeta was fighting because the man became very angry. He prepared to launch a killing spell at her but Natagath distacted him with a fireball attack.

The Forsworn, who's name Violeta never learned, attacked Natagath in retaliation while she continued to wrestle with his dragon.

Natagath, armed only with his dagger, desperately tried to fend off the Forsworn's attack.

"Violeta, please run! They're gonna kill you!" he shouted, struggling against the villain's strength.

So be it! I won't just abandon you to these barbarians! Violeta replied as she zapped the enemy dragon with another jolt of electricity.

"I'm gonna stuff you're dragon's head and mount it on my wall, boy!" the Forsworn thug shouted to Natagath.

Ignoring the threat, The elf shouted, "Violeta, if you die protecting me then you'll just die in vain! I have no chance of escaping! Please, Violeta, get out while you have a chance!"

"Don't worry, Elf, you'll be joining her soon enough!" shouted the Forsworn as he dodged a fireball from Natagath.

As Violeta continued to wrestle with the evil dragon, her poison began to take hold and the enemy weakened.

No, Natagath! I won't leave you! We'll die together as one! The lightning dragon pushed her foe off of her and charged at the nameless Forsworn man but he simply knocked her back with a spell.

The dragon Violeta had been fighting finally succumbed to the venom and the Forsworn thug apparently realized that something was wrong. Seeing a distraction, Violeta was about to charge in for another attack when Galbatorix himself showed up. Natagath's eyes shifted from Galbatorix to Violeta. He looked his dragon in the eye and tearfully sobbed, "You leave me no choice. I won't watch you die. Goodby, Violeta. I love you."

Violeta felt the bond between them sever. Knowing there was no way she could save her rider now, she reluctantly took off into the sky, evading the other attackers and escaping.
End flashback:


Violeta stood there silently staring at the spot where she had last seen her rider. A tear ran from her eye and vanished into her facial fur. It was the first time in many years that she had actually cried.

I'm so sorry, Natagath...

She then said to Draerr Let's move on. I don't want to look at this fountain any more. It pains me too much.

With that, the dragoness turned away from the fountain and started down a different street, back toward the edge of the city. She decided to talk about something else.

Draerr, you said you were looking for your family. Perhaps I can assist you in your search.

OCC: I did invite someone to join in. However, in the meantime, you can make the source of the sound whatever you want. I have no idea what these creatures are supposed to look like.

IC:

Violeta heard the strange sound and a low growl imminated from her throat as she looked around, surveying the area for whatever might have caused it.

"Who's there? Show yourself! Don't make me come and find you!

Violeta heard the sound coming from one of the ruined buildings and the hairs on her back stood on end as she energized her body as a precaution. The dragoness walked toward the sound and suddenly heard something moving toward her and Draerr. A massive creature looking similar to a prehistoric ground sloth suddenly tore through the rocky wall and charged at her with a roar. Violeta roared back at it, hoping to imtimidate it into retreat, but no such luck. Violeta stepped between the creature and Draerr and opened her mouth. With a loud crackling sound, a bolt of lightning shot from her mouth and struck the creature right square in the chest, but it kept on coming. Violeta was puzzled at this but she fired another lightning bolt and then another, but to no avail. With one swipe of it's front paw it smacked her to the side, almost knocking the dragon off her feet. Violeta regained her footing and braced herself for a second attack. The creature was apparently unaffected by her shock defences as well. She reared up on her back legs and swiped at the creature with her front claws, leaving bloody clawmarks on the creature's head and shoulders. However, the beast still seemed upphased and headbutted Violeta in the stomach, knocking her over on her back. The creature then pinned her down by stepping on her throat so she couldn't bite it. Violeta dug into the creature's underbelly with her back claws and finally managed to cause it some degree of pain, but it still would not release her. Instead, it placed all it's weight on her throat so she was unable to breath.

OCC: Dark Dragon, it's your turn again.

Crimson watched the fool dragon and elves leave. They were fools, all of them, they would learn what they got for defiying him. He looked out west to see a storm coming, using magic he created a sheild around himself to protect him from the rain. He called for his mind slaves to make a small fort. But met a surprise from himself Lord Crimson! Equinox is here! He's attacking us! one of the slaves shouted.
Crimson left contact and grimaced. He should have known that green fool would show up here. Such a waist of a dragon. Kill him. Crimson ordered. He looked up at the storm, he wondered if some of those lightning bolts belonged to Equinox himself.
"Equinox, you will die soon." Crimson said and walked in the direction of his mind slave.

Equinox roared and shot down a beam of lightning at one of the mind slaves. Diving down he avoided arrows that would have went into his head. One entered his wing, but he ignored it. He didn't expect Crimson to be here in Vroengard while he had lands to defend in the west. Even so, Equinox couldn't let the island fall to the man elf. On the ground several soldiers in Equinox's army fought Crimson's slaves. Equinox had managed to bring about ten across, but that seemed to be enough, he had taken out several of Crimson's mind slaves in the attack. He would try to free them, but recently Crimson had discovered a way to make his mind slaves die after they were freed.
Equinox thought he saw another dragon in the distance, but continued to fight Crimson's mind slaves. They begun to flee and he landed next to his own soldiers.
How many injured? Equinox asked, looking over the humans, elves, and the single dwarf.
"Three dead and two injured. We managed to kill then of them in the ambush though." an elf said.
Good work, it still brings me to wonder what Crimson is doing here though. We should find somewhere to stay in this storm. Equinox said
.

Equinox had the soldiers get onto his back, it was a tight squeeze, and some had to hang onto his legs, but he flew away, it was then he noticed what appeared to be a strange old house. Landing, the two legs climbed off of him. I wonder what's in there. I doubt anyone lives in here though. Equinox said leading them up to the house.
"Its possible, maybe Crimson destroyed it. His minios are here so he should be." one of the elves said.
I still don't see why he would be here. Vroengard is far away from any of the land he's conquered and its not to large. Nothing remaings other than the ruins of the riders. Equinox said and looked into the distance to see if he could spot any of the ancient ruins. He was glad his bond to Crimson was severed, but still wondered what it would have been like here all those many years ago.
"I don't know sir." a human said.
Equinox went up to the house and said, Is anyone in there? he asked.

OCC: Dark Dragon, your turn again.

OOC: Sorry, I've been busy the past few days.

Equinox was surprised to see a dragon and two elves, he wondered if one of them were her rider. They seemed cautious around him, he wondered why. Had they met trouble earlier? Whatever it was, he just wanted to get of the rain, he meant no harm. He let out a laugh when she said he hopped he wasn't a servant of Crimson Serving my evil rider is the last thing I would want. He has already tried to take control of me once. I assume then you ran into him? By the way, I'm Equinox, who are all? ?Equinox asked, the soldiers grimaced as he mentioned Crimson, they hated him just about as much as Equinox himself did. As for them, they are my soldiers I guess you could say. We're trying to stop Crimson's expansion and heard he came here. We didn't come to bother you or get you wrapped in out trouble though. May we stay here for the night? Just to get out of the rain? he asked politely.

Thank you. Equinox replied and led the soldiers in after they said thanks. He looked at Violeta and the two elves and replied to the dragoness He is. I've had to deal with him ever since I hatch. He has killed many of my friends to get to me. Equinox was surprised to here that Crimson had wanted them to join him, normally if they refused he would have attacked their minds You're lucky he didn't try to take over your minds. He's only failed twice. The first time, well that person serves him now. The second was my friend Phal though she had help from my friend Quasar. Equinox didn't mention more, he didn't like bringing up Quasar's death. Equinox shrugged at the last part. It was a surprise to see Crimson here too, so far away from his land. Perhaps he wants to divert the elves attention. He plans attacking them eventually, so my spies say. Why are you here anyway?
"I think he wants to find more followers. He's found a race of giant birds called terra birds, most serve him but the ones that don't allied themselves with us." A human soldier said.
What kind of race would he be after? I don't think any other race of beings live on this island. Equinox replied. The soldier shrugged.

OCC: Dark Dragon, it's your turn again.

OCC: Dark Dragon, please take your turn. I know you've been on.

OOC: Sorry, been busy with school stuff.

IC: Equinox gave a yawn and look at the soldier around him. They each nodded at him in response to Violeta. To her he replied, "I would like to know that also. It can't be good whatever that is." he looked at the group and said to them, I'd be careful if I were you if you met him again. He gets to know you too well he will try and make your life hell. Though, I doubt you will, he's to interested in my friends and I and our so called rebellion which I'm still trying to figure out how I inherited it. he said and glanced at the soldiers who all smirked at him.
To Draerr he replied, I won't either, though I do worry. The elves are strong, but a large portion of his army are elves, even if most are his puppets. Not to mention he has a space contorting dragon on his side. Equinox said. He didn't want anyone else to be dragged into his problems, especially when they had no need to be involved with Crimson.

Crimson would wait out the storm. He was after this island's riches. He would need it to pay the soldiers he had not taken over, not to mention the mercenaries though he had taken over several of their minds. "You two," he said to two of his mind controlled slaves, "Go and find whatever coin or anything valuable you can. The soldiers will take anything, gold, women, jewels, dragon hide, rare plants, anything."
"Yes my lord." they replied.

OOC: That's ok. Long posts are good =)

"Sir," a soldier said to Crimson. He glared at the soldier, it was dead at night and the fool was bothering him! Glaring at the soldier he waited for him to reply, "several soldiers who went patrolling captured a female elf. They are bringing her here. What do you wish us to do?"
Though Crimson hated being bothered this late, he smirked. They had a captive, and from the wounds of it one of the fools who refused to join him.
"Let the soldiers have their fun for the night. It has been a long and dangerous journey and they deserve some fun. Wake me in the morning, I'll deal with her later." with an evil grin he said, "Hopefully by tomorrow her mind is weakened."

Equinox was about to go into a deep sleep when he heard the door open than close. He shot his head up and looked around. Going to a window he searched to see who had left. It was hard to make out anyone in the rain. Looking at the soldiers around him he woke one up, Go outside and guard. I think Crimson or someone is near.
"Yes sir." a dwarf replied with a human and they went outside to keep guard.

Equinox woke up to what Violeta said. Opining up his mind he said to all his soldiers to search the area. Saphi had been out too long to just have been going out for air. Equinox flew up and scanned the area. Watching the humans, elves, and dwarf on the ground looking he flew further than them to continue his seach. Suddenly he felt as something struck his side and he fell to the earth. A massive tree seemed to bend in the air by itself and collapse. He just managed to roll away as it crushed his tail. He gave out a loud roar to whoever attacked him. It wasn't a surprise to see a teal dragon fly over to him.
Dsurion? When did you get here? Equinox demanded.
The teal dragon smirked and looked down at Equinox. Growling under his breawth he replied, I've been here all along. Lord Crimson ordered me out to make sure know one followed. It isn't a surprise that you are here Equinox. Lord Crimson expected it.
Dsurion contorted the space around two more trees and they collapsed on Equinox's wings, Now, since you're subdued I must find this other dragoness. Dsurion replied and flew away from Equinox.

Dsurion flew away from Equinox, he'd deal with the fool later. Crimson wanted to kill him himself. Flying towards the buildings he saw several elves, humans, and a dwarf looking for the captured elf. First Dsurion made the space around the building contort so it collapsed on itself. Around the ones running on the ground he made the earth buckle and shake.
Fear me lesser beings! I Dsurion master of space! he roared out to them. With a roar he replied I know there is another dragon here. Come out and fight me! he roared.

Crimson walked towards the soldiers who had the elf. He could tell she was having a strong resistance. Elves were always harder to break than humans. Pushing past his soldiers he attacked Saphi's mind. He lunged at it. Forcing himself into her mind he attacked it with magic to go and shatter her defenses. I have bested dragon's elf, your resistance is futile. Throwing more magic and blasts at her mind he eventfully drew out. To his soldiers he said "Fools, you should know how to defend your own mind or break another's. Now, do as you wish if you fail anymore times I'll take your prize away."

Equinox watched Violeta as she went into the air and begun to shot lighting and summon it. Another one... I thought... I'm not alone... he muttered to himself in surprise. As she fired at Dsurion he noticed something, a strange flash from the teal dragon and Equinox's eyes widened. Violeta! Behind you he's actually behind you! He's contorting space! Equinox shouted.
It had been a long contortion but when Equinox saw the lightning strike Dsurion he saw in as he vanished and appeared in his actually position, above her. He slammed down into her and Equinox stared at the fight went above.

Dsurion slammed into Violeta's back and snarled evilly, You obviously don't know the power of space contorting. With that Dsurion made to attack again but out of the corner of his eye saw Equinox fire lightning from his mouth. He curved away just as the bolt flew back him.
Fine, I'll just have to crush your head as well. he made another slash at Equinox than contorted the space around one of the collapsed trees on Equinox and begun to contort the space for it to fall on his head.

Crimson heard as Saphi escaped. "Foolish elf." he said to himself. He followed the sound of fighting and when he found her he fired several blasts of fire at her.

Dsurion jerked from the charge and the trees fell away from Equinox instead of crushing him. Whipping around he snarled at Violeta. Lightning is weak, it can be bent like anything else." He flew into the air and made a strange space bend around one of the trees on Equinox's wing and the tree flew up to strike Violeta.

Crimson saw Saphi run behind a tent and he used magic to make the tent blow up to either hurt or disable her. Once the tent blew up, he hurried towards her direction, drawing his sword.

Equinox looked up, surprised to see the tree on his left wing was off and the one just about to crush his head fell away. He saw Dsurion bend one of the trees to fly at Violeta. Equinox blasted lighting at the teal dragon, but he made it bend right back at him. Equinox flinched as the bolt struck his side.

Dsurion looked back at Violeta. He was getting tired do to so much bending of space, but he had one more trick on him. He contorted the air around him and made it so it would seem he was going to fly back at her and attack, but he actually made it so he would be behind her though she would see him infornt of him. It tired him even more, but he wanted to go for a killing blow before he was forced to retreat.

Crimson felt as someone slammed him to the ground, but he managed to push Draerr off of him. Before the elf could react, he grabbed his sword and tossed it to one of his own soldiers. Shielding his mind so he couldn't use magic, Crimson put his own sword to Draerr's neck. He positioned the blade so if the elf made any movement to escape or attack him the sword would cut off his head. "If any of you attack or make any movements, he will die."

Equinox was about to blast another lightning bolt at Dsurion when he heard Crimson's orders. To Violeta he said Come down, we can't risk his life. I don't think Dsurion will attack. Just as he thought, Dsurion also landed, though he was exhausted.

OOC: Dark, Draerr doesn't have a sword so I am not exactly sure whose sword you threw at your warriors.



Draerr looked around as his companions came into the camp and tried different ways to get out of Crimson's grasp but to no avail. The sword stayed at his neck and a small trickle of blood fell down to the ground. He looked at Saphi and could see that her eyes were glazed over and she dropped her sword.

"No!" He cried. "I won't let you!" He tried to get up but the sword poked into his neck and he was forced back down. All he could do was look on helplessly.




Saphi looked at Draerr when he called out to her and a tear slid down her face. She let out a long breath and took a step forward, looking Crimson in the eyes. Her sword on the ground she held up her hands.


"Take me, and leave them." Her eyes started to water and her hands began to shake. "I can be more useful to you. I can control the elements and I know a surplus of knowledge. I will come quietly and I will not try to escape. Just let them leave, leave the island." She got down on her knees and continued to look at Crimson.

Crimson smirked at Violeta. With a nasty snarl he snapped, "Do you really think I fear Galbatorix dragon? He as the Varden to deal with, not to mention many of his soldiers are my mind slaves. Even if he didn't attack me, I'd destroy him. As for the elves, they know and fear me for what I do. I myself am an efl so I know the magic of Du Weldenvarden." He felt Draerr struggle and laughed as he poked himself with the sword. The fools had no way out, with what Saphi said, his face grew bright with evil, "About time one of you think of something smark. I accept your deal then Saphi." He threw Draerr aside and went over to Saphi and put barriers in her mind so she couldn't attack him with magic, "Now, if any of you attempt to follow me I will know, and I will kill her." he glanced over at Equinox and said, "Be lucy Equinox that I did not capture you because I wouldn't allow the same merci to you as I will to Saphi."
If you call that merci you sick rotten monster! Crimson! Let her go! I will freely let you kill me if you let them go!
Crimson laughed at replied, "Oh Equinox, you turely are a fool. You are weak Equinox, and Saphi will be useful in more ways than one."
Equinox roared out at Crimson for threatening her. He managed to tear the tree from his wing and dove at Crimson, but Dsurion tacked him to the ground and snarled.
"Soldiers! Take her away, Dsurion, follow them above, I'll be with you also, but for now I'll leave the elf to the soldiers." With that, Dsurion jumped off of Equinox and flew into the air, leaving with Crimson and his soldiers who had Saphi.

Equinox watched as they went, he managed to wobble up but he was injured badly from the trees falling on him. He snarled, he wouldn't let Crimson treat one of his friends like that. He knew what Crimson had Frazer do the Quasar, Equinox wouldn't stand for this again. Crimson I swear, I will kill you some day and make you pay for your sins. he snarled angrily, though a few tears fell from his emerald eyes. I've failed again...

Equinox nodded and replied That would be the best to return there. Crimson is likely to try and return to his base in the Spine. With only one dragon with him plus the terrabirds to far away to reach him we should be able to intercept him in a few days. Going over to his soldiers he said, Get on my back, chances are Crimson will steal the ships we used to get here. They climbed onto his back and he managed to fly into the air. The ten soldiers would slow him down but he would be able to carrying them to the mainland, he hoped. To Draerr he said We'll get your sister back, I swear it we will. He could feel from his soldiers a sense of worry from them. He could understand, even with two dragons on their side they were still outnumbered by the forces Crimson had. Not to mention Dsurion's space bending was predictable to figure out what he would do.

Crimson led his soldiers to two ships. one was his own one was the one Equinox and his soldiers rode on. To his soldiers he said, "Take the captive below deck and make sure she can't get out. It won't take us long to reach the mainland." Equinox's vessel being larger was the one they would use. The second ship he burned with fire.
Once the ship left shore and begun sail Dsurion flew above and begun to contort the space around the water to make the ship sail faster than a flying dragon.

Equinox walked into the cave and the soldiers on him piled off into it. Several took guard position in front of the cave's entrance in case they saw any trouble. Equinox lied down on the cave floor and the others soldiers sat down around the cave. At Violet's question Equinox nodded. It reminded him of the strange cave paintings he an Elcyon saw in Illium. My ancestors were from the ancient lightning dragon nation that ruled the Beor Mountains in ancient times. I don't know too much else other than that I have some lightning dragon blood in my. He looked around at the cave, it was different than the one he and Elcyon saw the cave paintings on. Are you too a lightning dragon? Or at least have some lightning dragon blood in you? he asked.

I don't know much about my own heiratage. My father was a green dragon but was a rider's dragon, and my mother was red and a wild one, but as far as I know she wasn't a lightning dragon. Equinox sighed, he remembered the last time he saw his father and that was when he was forced to kill his own father when he attacked me. I have nothing about my siblings, Crimson stole my egg so I know nothing of them. The thought of what Violeta said surprised him. He wasn't sure, Dsurion was powerful but still what she suggested I doubted it Violeta, but even if we did capture Dsurion, how wold he hold him? He could bend the cahins and mussle to make them fall off of him, you saw what he did when we fought. He's one of the most powerful dragons ever to exist.

OOC: Dark are you ever going to have Crimson do anything?




Draerr sat in quiet contemplation, trying to find a way that he could get his sister back. Crimson would likely have her protected in some way and they didn't have nearly enough soldiers to attack directly. He sat and stared off into the distance trying to find any way he could to get his sister back.

Equinox shook his head at Violeta, We don't have nearly enough soldiers to attack his base. We would get overran if we even approached. Besides, there is no way they even reached the Spine. Dsurion is small still, not all of them will be able to fit on his back, and no terrabirds are close enough to take them. He will be headed north, and we should be able to intercept him. Equinox looked at the soldiers and at Draerr and said to them We will have to be sneaky. We should fly up as close as we can without being spotted. Then, we send a rescue party and hope Crimson hasn't broken Saphi or taken over her mind.

Crimson led his soldiers north, it would be some time before they reached his base in the Spine or before any terrabirds arrived to assist them. As the day went on they found a large wooden mansion that was abondoned. "Dsurion, stay out here with the guards. You five," he pointed to some soldiers, "take the prisoner inside. She is strong, but she will break soon hopefully." Crimson wouldn't deal with taking over her mind yet. He could, but it wasn't critical right now with her captured. A broken person's mind was easier to take control of than someone who's mind was un broken.

OOC: Sorry for the wait, I hope to get my old account back soon.

Crimson will be slowed down though, and I know my mad rider more than most. He won't go straight to the Spine or the elves right now. I think we should leave tomorrow to intercept him. Equinox half growled to himself, anything that happened to Crimson was a good thing he saw it.

Violeta sighed and rested her head on her paws. She would need to rest and regain her strength for the task ahead.

We should rest up for the mission. We'll need all the energy we can get.

It was impossible to take everyone back to the Spine by flight, so Crimson forced them to walk. Once night fell Dsurion tore down several trees to make a sort of hut for them. Crimson orders his soldiers that could use magic to put up a barrier around it.
"Make sure the prisoner keeps drinking and eating, we can't risk her using magic." Crimson said. The mind barrier he has around her should at least prevent her, but just in case they went into a large battle where he had to focus more on the fighting he couldn't risk her breaking free. She was a total puppet where even if he was out cold the mind slaves would still carry out his commands

Resting his head down Equinox stared towards the exit of the cave. This gave him a feeling just like when Quasar was captured. With a sigh he curled up, remembering both how Quasar and Throat Ripper died. The urgal was murdered by Galedrim, and Quasar died to save Equinox and several the link with him and his evil rider. After several hours, he eventually passed into a light sleep.

OCC: Dang, I forgot about this one. I'm gonna pass this time because there isn't much for me to add right now. It's gomenesigh turn.

Equinox watched for a moment as Draerr practiced his swordsmanship. After a bit he walked over to him and stared out the cave entrance for a moment. We'll get her back, don't worry. he said, after a pause he added We could go now, Crimson may expect it, but we could go now before he breaks her. He hated being blunt, but it did make sense, the longer the waited the longer Crimson had to take over Saphi's mind.

Dsruion watched as several soldiers headed for the tent Saphi was in. He sighed, and stared into the distance. Why would Crimson allow this? Maybe he didn't know what was happening. He could hear something inside the tent and he groaned. He was a general, perhaps he could tell them not to do what they were doing. He shook his head, they'd just go to Crimson. Sighing he lied down, he heard something inside and two soldiers came out.
"That sure was good wasn't it!" one said gleefully, they slapped each other in the back and begun to talk. Dsurion snarled, he couldn't take it. He dove towards the soldiers and picked one up in his claws.
His head facing the quivering human he said Perhaps you'll be the example. If any of you do that again, he said, his voice going out to the others soldier. He slammed the human into a tree, impaling him into it with his talon and using his bending abilities to make it so a branch impaled him by the head You shall have the same fate. Lord Crimson may be indifferent, but I am will not tolerate any of that! he snalred. The soldiers backed up and he grinned, just to add more to his words he went and lied in front of Saphi's tent. I think my presence if enough security. he said, not letting any soldiers come near him.

Violeta stood up and nodded in agreement Very well. Equinox, you lead the way.

She knelt down so that Draerr could climb onto her back. Then she took off with the others.

As Violeta joined them in the air she asked Equinox, So what is the plan? I hope we don't just intend to rush headlong into what could be a ambush. What do you want me to do once we arrive at Crimson's base?

She was anxious to rescue her friend but was worried that acting so quickly may result in them being ambushed.

OCC: Short post.

Equinox flew into the air though it would take some time to locate Crimson he shouldn't be too far away. Though glad his rider bond with Crimson was gone, he missed the fact Crimson was easily traceable. We distract him. My soldiers will rush in along with Draerr. Violeta, you and I will fire a few lightning bolts before we fly in to attack either Crimson or Dsurion. To add more to out ambush I'll fly around the back of their camp before the attack starts and shoot lighting at them, that will be a signal for the soldiers and Draeer to change in once they are distracted by me. You come in with them if you want. Crimson may expect some form of an attack, but he never thought I was smart enough to plan something like this. He laughed to himself about just how simple their plan was, at least in speaking anyway, there was no way of knowing how it would actually work out.

Crimson sat down next to a fire eyeing the tent Saphi was in. Standing up, he ordered his soldiers to keep the fire going. He walked over to the tent, surprised to see Dsruion lying in front of it "Get out of my way Dsurion." he ordered.
Dsurion was surprised to see Crimson here and almost refused, but knew better than to Yes sir. he replied rather solemnly and stepped aside.
Crimson walked into the tent and stared at Saphi. He didn't care what his soldiers did, all he wanted was another mind slave. He jabbed into her mind throwing flames and daggers at her defenses and pushed in words. Surrender Saphi and it will all go away. I can force you to bend with to my will, but you don't want that do you? It will be painful. Come, the quick and easy way, surrender to me.

Dsurion watched as Crimson entered. He sighed, he knew Crimson was only going to attack her mind, but still this felt strange to him. All the other times Crimson took someone's mind over was during battle. He's doing this for a reason. To bring peace. he kept telling himself.

Equinox nodded, We will, he shall be punished for what he's done. he glanced down at his mangled foot and snarled, that was the very first injury he received from Crimson, only hours after he hatched. Snarling, he glanced around I can make out their camp. Remember, wait for my signal. with that he flew away, going the long away around the camp so no one would notice him. As he flew, he noticed Dsurion lying outside a tent as if guarding it. If I have to fight my way past you I will. he snarled to himself.

As Saphi fought back and went deeper into her own mind, Crimson kept pushing in, sending in more flames and knives. Then he went for a full mental attack, attacking her mind with searing heat and frigid cold. You can't fight forever Saphi. Surrender and stop the pain. You're friends aren't coming for you. They've abandoned you Saphi, you have no hope of escape. Just surrender and be free of the pain. he said to her, trying to force the message in.

Crimson smirked as Saphi begun to drift into unconsiousness. He slammed back against her defenses until they shattered, when the mind was unconscious it was more difficult for someone to break in unless they had his experience. Even so as he dug deeper he heard explosions of lighting from the outside and attack. Snarling, he tore away from Saphi's mind "We're under attack!" he yelled. Storming outside he saw Dsurion take to the air, and he was face to face with Draerr, "Ah, so we meet again." Crimson taunted, "Equinox really has outdone himself. I never expected the fool to plsn something like this one his own." he snarled and pulled out his sword, "Fight me if you want to get to your sister. You will lose." Outside he heard his soldiers clashing with those Equinox had brought.

As Equinox fired a few lightning bolts, he flew into the camp, and ran straight into Dsurion. Snarling, she shot a blot of lighting at Dsurion, but he bent it so it flew into a tree. Equinox snarled at Dsurion's bending powers. Flying straight into the younger teal dragon, Equinox tried to force him to the ground.

Dsurion fought against Equinox as he crashed into him. Snarling, he did a complex bend of space so Equinox would just be forcing himself against the ground. Snarling, he turned up towards Violeta and flew towards her, releasing a jet of fire at her.

Dsurion glanced at Violeta. He readied himself in case she fired a lightning bolt at him, ready to bend space at any second. Even so he couldn't help but glance at the tent. What the guards had done, had tried to do. He couldn't it happen, ever. He had more dignity than letting that happen, but Crimson was his leader, he had to keep Saphi here. You will learn your error for attacking me. I have fought both you and Equinox before, both lighting dragons, even if Equinox's blood is diluted. I'm sorry... but you cannot have your friend back... he said with a sad growl. Shooting into the air he made several arrows bend towards Violeta away from their orriginal target.

Crimson spotted Draer not far from him, snarling at the elf, he rushed towards him. "You wish to get your sister back? You will have no luck." he slashed towards him and used magic to blas him back a bit.

Shooting lighting at several soldiers, Equinox noticed Crimson heading for Draer. Snarling, He flew down towards Crimson as they two crossed blades. As Crimson used magic, he shot a lightning bolt at him, forcing Crimson to jump out of the way. Fight me you mindless coward! Equinox snarled at Crimson.
"You too Equinox? The likes of both of you are no match for me." he snarled.
