Skarel strode through the the shattered front door of silver moon inn and took a detailed look at his surroundings. The floor was covered in shattered wood and and bloody stains but other then that the inn was as when Skarel had stayed in it before imprisonment accept for the new patrons the varden. the group of soldiers did not seem an unruly lot just men who had seen too much and lived enough to fill many lives. Skarel slinked through the debre like a cat in the night and came to an offical look man who was sorting through a large amount of items as if the meaning of life was hidden in amongst the items if only he could find it. after a snap decision Skarel Decide to speak.
"excuse me sir would you per chance have come across a small sack with 3 leather bound notebooks ?"

Darel was an officer of the varden and was sick up to the neck with these whingeing citizens of finster they always wanted something for nothing. he mulled over his hatred and then abruptly said
"you mean these? well you can't have they are property of the varden"
content in his power Darel let a crooked smile crash upon his lips no one would oppose him not this many hours after the siege.

Skarel hated conflict but felt this was unavoidable so he quickly said
"fram iet"
Skarel did not think it would take the amount of energy it did but then realised with a silent curse the spell was to indirect. A second after Skarel uttered the phrase three notebooks quivered in the pile and rose into his hand and he quickly shoved them in his pack and turned to run.

"get that thief !" shouted Darel
In but a few seconds 20 odd swords were draw and skarel was out the door.

after him" Darel shouted
the inn cleared and a massive procession of the varden were running after an inhumanly fast man garbed in all black clothing with a katana strung across his back.
skarel pounded down the street hoping for a miracle.

alright i get the point its a crap story line i'll get rid of it in a bit but in my defence plenty of the rps i've looked at start the same way or similar and people have no proplem using their imagination to contiune it

OOC: Well Secrets of the Dark Forest is a very succesful RP now a days. But it was very easy to follow the story line and easy to come up with new ideas. Like I was the first to enter, and the end of the guys post that started the topic said "Something suddenly moved behind him, and (person's name) drew his sword in case this person was not friendly." Or something like that

i am going to contiune this in hope someone with imagination will pick it up.

Skarel side stepped into another in half way up the street and the varden ran strait past,phew that had been close he thought.
after a few seconds he strode up to the counter and ordered a room it was no good to go out yet while they had a fresh image of what he looked like in their minds better to wait and sneak out at night. after a poor meal of bread,cheese meat and a light amount of beer skarel went to his room in hopes of a few hours rest before nightfall. once he reached his room he fell onto his bed which in retrospect was a bad idea it was hard as stone. a few seconds into his relaxation skarel heard a creak of floor boards outside his room and swung up right as the lock on the door began to rattle .................

would you like to right it then they don't have to be evil they could be breaking in on the asumption the guy that just came in out of breath has done something wrong and they think someone should deal with him.

"Who are you, the books were mine so the varden had no right to them" Skarel said rapidly in a raised voice.
Skarel was unsure about this women she seemed more alive then most but worst of all she was unknown and this unsettled him greatly. She had the slim figure that he possessed but he knew more then well enough that was incredibly deceiving. After a moment and holding his katana out stretch Skarel thrust a mental spear at her conscience for if she were like the rest of the people in the city he could easily diminish what magical power she had and if not his trouble had only just began.

Stunned by the clarity of the women's mental power Skarel mentally stammered " the first two just list names and words in the ancient language and there uses i have also add words i have discovered and words of my own make the third book the black one is a guide to things of a sort". Skarel knew he would not be able to hide the truth for long but he took comfort in the fact he had secrets.
pausing for a breath second Skarel then said " the varden chased me because i took the books with a small amount of force when an officer of the varden decided to refuse them to me". as an after thought he add almost unconsciously "they are the only things that bind me to the world and the guide is important".

Skarel thought about the question and then said "After my mentor died i started to travel and learn magic the guide is a guide to certain artifacts hidden in the spine i have made it my life's work to discover if this was myth or not and i believe it is true i have a confirmed location a week or so away from here in the spine near Kuasta" after a brief pause Skarel said "now you ask what the treasure is or have i got you down the wrong way and your the boring type"
he enjoyed poking peoples pride and hoped for and interesting reaction

"ok i'm good with that,the way the map works an elven mage years ago cast a spell which made which could cause the safe route to change every time the orginal got dangerous but yes it would be good to take a compaion to find the map i thought about it but i wasn't sure who i dont really have any real friends" Skarel ended the stament so matter o factly he was stunned by how the fact he was not close to anyone did not bothered him.
OOC: do you want to see if we can get anyone else?

OOC:this is my last post for today its 9pm over here in England and i have school tomorrow.
Skarel picked up his light pack and prepared to go. He looked at the sleek cat and then open the door and turned down the stairs and walked to front of the inn and slinked into the crowds and made his way rapidly to the main gate.

"we go north and the trial is not just uragls their is some kind of test the elf mage who made the map left i believe he wanted to make sure whoever gained the map was worthy, do you need anything before we go?" said Skarel

Skarel matched her pace and they ran.
They ran for 3 days and 2 nights until Skarel realised that one them should stop other whys they would both drop. They reached a range of small tree covered hills and Skarel said "I believe we are just a few leagues from belatona so we must be care but its should be alright to camp just there".
Skarel pointed to the hill nearest them the crest was framed by tree's

Skarel said "shall we run then?" and with out waiting he stepped towards the north and began to climb down the side of the hill.

OOC:sorry its a bit short

They both ran day in and out until after running frew a patch of forest they came into a camp of around 20 urgals and only 3 kull. Skarel drew his katana and saw Mari was ready and he said "together?"

OOC: I hope this is okay with you i thought it would spicy things up a bit

Skarel slipped through 5 urgals with ease and found himself facing off against a massive kull he slipped through a series of movements with his blade and managed to disarm the kull and speared it through the chest and kicked it off his sword he turned around to see Mari doing.......

OOC: there you are this should give you some fun

Mari blinked and stared for a moment. then simply said."So that's how you did it." Then she shook her head, brushing away her confusion. "I think it's time we get some sleep."

Skarel nodded and then said lets find somewhere safe to rest, we are only a day away from were the scroll is hidden.
OOC: bit short but I think the whole fight was fun

Skarel stood up an wait for Mari to do like wise and then they both ran in their original heading keeping a steady pace.
