Skills: Joshua is an excellent swordsman. Although he trained himself he could defeat almost anyone although he let his opponents live. He only met four people who could defeat him and three of them used tricks to do it. He has fought most people and few dare to challenge him although the ones who do will probably receive a humiliating defeat.

Personality: Joshua is serious and does not appreciate humor. He gets annoyed when people act foolishly and finds luxuries needless. He was made tough by a hard life in the dessert and by living in a cave for five years. He does not take any chances in battle but makes sure that he can win any fights he is forced into or starts himself. He is gentle at heart and only kills if his life is threatened or if someone else who is inosent is in danger. He has no pity for his enemies except if he is in a friendly duel. He protects as many as he can because his brother was slain and he will not let someone who needs help go without it. However he keeps his past a mystery for there are many who would like to kill him. He finds joy in few things and remains the hard man he had to make himself in order to survive. When he finds himself to weak for a task he spurs himself on in hopes of finding his brother once again and if not, slaying the ones who tore Dergon from him.

History: Joshua was born in the Hadarac dessert to a nomad and his wife. He was quickly labeled as a weakling because of being sickly. All of the other boys in the tribe picked on him for being the weakest until one day he thrashed the biggest and toughest of them all. From that day on when a boy saw him coming he quickly ran away. Joshua was deprived of friends outside of his family because of this. His brother, Dergon, was the only boy who wasn't afraid of him so they became friends quickly. They did everything together. Joshua finally had something to enjoy in life, a frienship. Unfortunately all of this came to an end one night when his dad and all the other men in the village left to fight Drraskar, the leader of the Kuhashin bandits. After the men had left, a group of the bandits attacked the tribe slaughtering anyone in their way. Joshua and his brother fought off five of the killers, but one of them mortally wounded Dergon. As ten more of the murderers came twored Joshua and his brother, Dergon toled Joshua to leave. Joshua took one last look at his brother and ran. He managed to outrun the bandits but not before taking a knife in his back. Joshua somehow managed to survive a long journey out of the wasteland but when he emerged out of the sand dunes he collapsed. Only his will to see his brother again kept him alive. When his health returned he found a cave where he lived for five years, and from that time he resolved to either find his brother, or slay the ones responsible for his death.

Weopons: Joshua's only weopon is a sword he calls Venom. It is a long double-edged blade that is completely black. Its hilt is in the shape of a snake with the end curved around a white circular gem. The three foot long blade can hack through any armor, but at the same time is as light as a wooden stick. Its hilt is also pure black and has strange symbols lining the edges.

Likes: Joshua likes fighting and practicing with Venom, but the only other joy he had in life was slain.

Dislikes: Joshua dislikes humor and foolishness. He can not tolerate incompetence or stupidity.

Animal Companions: none

Physical Description: Joshua has a strong set body that was made for battle. His long brown hair extends to his shoulders. He has numerous scars from wounds he has received during his life. His strong jaw is always set in a scowl and his fierce eyes burn with a strange light. His face has a long diagonal scar extending from his forehead to his nose. He is six feet tall. His arms and legs are muscular giving him powerfull sword strokes and good speed.

Dreams for the Future: His dreams for the future are to find his brother or kill his murderers and then to settle down to a long peacefull life.

Reason for Dreams: Joshua and Dergon were brothers and friends. This is why he wants to find him or avenge his death. He has also lived a life of hardship, trial, and sadness so he wants to finally have some peace in his life after he finds his brother.

Side: Some say Joshua is neutral and some ay he fights for good. The truth is Joshua does not know himself. However at the moment he sides with good.

You should add more skills, almost anyone is a good swordsmen. Can he use magic? What are his weaknesses? Does have have unique traits?

Work on these and we will go from there.
