Abilities:
Far-sightedness- Just like the original good Faefnir, Rimfax can see faraway places and times. This gives him a good understanding of what is occurring and what the best times to strike are.

Fire and Ice Breath- Rimfax can use Fire and Ice breath just like Faefnir, although he is more likely to use fire than ice since his temperment is much more destructive than Faefnir's.

Magic- He is less susceptible to use magic than even Faefnir. But that doesn't mean he can't do it...

Dark Matter- Rimfax has only one ability that sets him apart from Faefnir: his Dark Matter ability. Rimfax is almost entirely evil, and he chooses he can manifest himself into the form of a Shadow dragon, unable to attack, but also unable to be attacked. It is in this form as well that Rimfax can possess other people and blend in with their shadows, very easily finding out information that is possibly beyond his far-sight.

Personality: Rimfax is the direct opposite of Faefnir. He is reckless, destructive, and pure evil to the core. He takes pleasure in the suffering of others, and could care less about such emotions as love. He is willing to kill anybody who gets in his way to achive his own ends. He is a creature of malice, hatred, and anger incarnate. He wants people to fear him, and he knows all too well that he has the means and devices to achieve that fear. The only thing he wants is to see Alagaesia fall into eternal darkness, and he knows the only way to do that is to destroy the original Faefnir, the last of the ancient dragons and the unannounced leader of the dragon people. With the son of the Great Dragon out of the picture, Rimfax can take control of the massive power stores within Stronghold and bring shadow upon Alagaesia, where he will reign supreme...

History: Rimfax was always awake within the original Faefnir, and he would appear whenever Faefnir lost control of his temper. It was relatively easy to take control when Faefnir was younger, but after he passed into his trance, Faefnir put up hundreds of mental barriers that contained the beast that was Rimfax. Only would he get truly angry would Rimfax be able to break the barriers and be released. It was only until recently, during an incident in a port city in Surda, that Rimfax was freed of his mental prison within Faefnir when the Shade Nilarek literally tore Rimfax out of the mind of Faefnir and made Rimfax his own external self. So, Faefnir didn't have to deal with his anger issues anymore, but Rimfax was free, and that was far more dangerous to Faefnir and the rest of Alagaesia. We can only imagine what plots Rimfax would attempt to try to dispatch Faefnir, his one true equal, once and for all.

Physical Description:
Rimfax's appearance is, like his personality, directly opposite of Faefnir's. He is immensely larger than Faefnir by about 50 feet, and his talons, spikes, and teeth are larger as well. They are also stained black, although ivory white is still present on them. His scales are pitch black, perhaps blacker than even Shruikan. The most striking feature, however, are his eyes. They are a blood red color, and extremely frightening.

Dark Matter- In addition to possessing them, Rimfax can make a dark matter breath that consumes his target in shadow. This weapon is extremely powerful, but doesn't kill them. What happens to the target is that he or she is sent to the Shadow World, where Rimfax and many Shades originated from. This dimension can only be accessed by Rimfax, a Shade, or Faefnir, who is the only being of good who can enter.

Dreams for the future: Rimfax wants to destroy Faefnir and establish Alagaesia as his own domain.

Reasons: Rimfax seeks power, and eternal power.
