1 Her prediction said he had many years ahead of him, so he must live after he faces Galbatorix.
2. Obivius since he choose who his allies are and where he is to go.
3. Broms Death is that "rapidly aproaches" and all the other death comes from all the people that dies in the battles he faces.
4. He will leave Alagaesia to help Sapira to find more Dragons but i dont know why he wouldnt come back , mabey it is like The Lord Of The Rings, when Frodo leaves and never comes back.
5. We all know who his romance is .........Arya
6. The Betral will be from Murtagh.

~~~Solembum's Advice~~~

1. Since Zar'roc was stole from Eragon by Murtagh Eragon will find his new weapon under the Menao tree.
2. When Eragon opens the Vault of Souls he will learn the True Name To Magic..

1- his long life is due to his being a dragon rider. He has to defeat Galby
2- he has many difficult paths to follow
3- All of his family is dead or going to die. Quite possibly, Saphira will die. (no!)
4- He leaves the land of Galby's and returns to a free and changed land!
5- ARYA!!!!! Its cute and sad!
6- Murtagh! I hate him! hunt him down Eragon!

1- Another Dragon Egg...very powerful weapon, more powerful than any thing else

ok, but she said he'd leave his homeland, what if its changed so much that its not like its his home any more? Or what if Surda becomes just like his home and he never returns there.

Alegeisa is the name of his homeland and his country if you look at the map so i dout it.

it wont be a dragon egg...its obviously a weapon. Perhaps the first Eragon's sword? The vault of souls hmm mayby the souls of dead riders that help him when his power is innsuficient

i have read all of your ideas and i still stick to my ideas.

I think you may feel for Murtagh similar to how I feel.
I can understand where he comes from and the reasons for his bitterness, but, I do not know how to phrase it, let's say that maybe Murtagh had grown too attached to life precisely because of his sad upbringing?
Later when he was back under Galbatorix's thumb he could not or did not want to relinquish his life for power??? I don't know if my point went across?

i think if Murtagh pleges a Oath of some kind to Eragon he can conter his first Oath or they bind each other.

Mabey the pridiction of the Menoa Tree has already come true...the weapon could have been him turning into an elf-ish human.

thats a great thery but sadly i have to disagree i think it a weapon beyond anything imaginable such as a ancient sword coming from the first rider Eragon

We have had great theories going on for a while now. I like the following two best:

At some point on the board it has been held that it can be the first Eragon's sword, but also someone suggested the possibility of the "weapon" being a scroll with either the name of the ancient language or Gabatorx's real name. As you can see, both of these can be a great weapon for Eragon. It's just so difficult to wait for the next book to finally unravel all the clues...

Sorry about bringing back old post but. Annie, we still didn't find out in this book, looks like we have to wait till the next and final book.... GRRR >.<

caterpillar, I'm sorry when i posted that i was tired. Yes i remember, it just has been awhile since i read it. Allot happened when i was gone you know. I need to reread allot to get everything fresh in my mind. I know now how old people feel about forgetting stuff allot. Its a problem that i been having all to much lately.

Well i honestly believe the weapon was overplayed....like all he got was a new sword and the only reason it was spectacular was because Eragon found out its true name.

How, so? It gives him a huge advantage especially since he now has a decent weapon, it has an ability that can and will suprise enemies.

Honestly though the weapon itself isn't that great like everybody anticipated this amazing thing and the sword itsel is pretty much just a blue zarroc....He made it good with the whole fire thing but still he made it good the weapon itself is just eh

But it is what the sword means to the Varden, Dwarves, and the Elves. It is a sign of hope and it dosn't leave Eragon defenceless. It protects their only hope and that is a boost of confidence to them.

I mean yea its symbolic, but i don't know it seems like idk, i just thought it would turn out differently. But i do like the sword....i wish he could wrap it in fire without using his own energy though

I didn't expect it to be a weapon, like a sword, i expected something more magic related.....because Eragon will most likely kill Galbatorix mostly with magic.

I doubt it, its too cowardly, I think it will end sword to sword, dragon to dragon ,muscle to muscle.

But Galbatorix is cowardly...i think it will become a fight with magic but the inal blow will be sword and claw

Galby will try to kill Eragon from a distance , when it dosn't work he will try to over power him with Shurikan.

Galby hasn't done anything for himself in a ong time he will be extremly hesitant. He know Eragon is powerful in combat

Bur Shurikan and himself have had years upon years of experience not to mention a big difference in power especially with the eldunari.

But again Eldunari help increase magic not swordsmanship and skill

I do not think the book is named ater the sword at all....it is named for everything Eragon went through and how is journey is coming to a close.

It was the biggest happening other than Oromis & Galdear getting killed. It was a pivotal moment in the story.
