 About Greeny ok so its a known fact that there will be a new green dragon (thus a new rider) in book three. But i need someone to help me out with something. I may have not read closely enough but doesnt it take a long time for a dragon to get the strength that saphira and the other dragons have. i know there is another quicker way that the dragons can grow in strength but i thought galby was the only one to know how to do that. Does oromis know how galby did all that to mortagh and thorn. If he doesnt then the new dragon wouldnt be of much help in a battle. someone help me out im confused

LOL your as condused as I am  . But nonetheess I will try to place some clairty in your situation. Well, firstly yes you are correct Dragons require cosdierable time and bounding wiht their rider before they devlop their streangth and also Galby has disocvered a method to reduce required time for a dragon to develop (though it will not be reavealed untill the next book as stated by CP) thus benfiting Murthurgh and Thorn. However greeny on the other hand will likley suffer do the dilleama of limited time, for I believe no one but Galby expliots these method as they were considered a phrohibted practise even to the elves, and I also dought the Oromis despite his coniderable knoweldge, magic and logical sense could assist in Green dragons growth devlopement, by the way Oromis is simply aware of the very elorbarate method of how Galby obtinas his powers and nothing more . Thus, instead it is likly they well have to resort to mundane means wiht the ambtio that Greeny will be strong enough to help defy the forces of Galby. Hope that clears things tell me if you have any other questions alirght?

our best bet is that Greenie will be at least 6 months old when he goes into battle. before that is stupid.
another theory is that Thorn hatched for Murtagh BEFORE Eragon met Murtagh, which would explain how Thorn was old enough to breathe fire.

NO!!!! not that stupid theory. the egg hatched for Murtagh BEFORE Murtagh met Eragon. That's what i mean. i'm talking a nwe dragon, but just the timing is different.

To I'MNOTCRAZY- Im trying to understand your theory U think that murtagh had a dragon hatch for him before he even met eragon and he was always working for galbatorix and the only reason that he went along with eragon was to learn about him and the varden which is why he wouldnt let others read his mind but in the battle when he and eragin fought he let eragon live because he grew attached to him during their travels together?

yeh , and murtagh said in the AL that he had been caputred and THEn thorn had hatched fotr him and THEn he was forced to swaer featly, and he couldn't really lie about it ,
you can only lie if you beleive it to be true , but it isn't actualy , but so many things can't be believed to be true and actuslly not be.

Maybe the spells to grow faster and become stonger and move faster is put on the egg itself, and greeni would be a huge help because galby would have put the most spells on greeni. Then how do we know if greeni is on the good side?
