Well....my plans for the zombie take over have been discussed between me and my friend on many a walk home.

1: steal my dad's Mustang GT for speed, then find a large truck for power and off-roading.

2: Go to walmart and stock up on food and guns and other equipment (medical supplies, radios ect.)

3: go to the abandoned house on a road that we used to walk on and hold out.

and some where along there get other people, but no more than 5....and one idiot that we can use for a distraction.

Now for needless helping:

The first one is good, but avoid you're dad.
Also, you would need to determine how the zombie disease is being transmitted, by the air, water, food, or some type of bug, as soon as possible.
As long as you're going to Walmart make sure you get there as fast as you can. Zombies usually corner people in such places. It is like a red zone.
The house is a good idea, but make sure you poor oil over the porch, keep it quiet, and cover your tracks.
Above all, trust no one. You and your friend should sleep in different places just in case one of you gets infected.
The idiot is good. Let him be the first to die. Preferably the bully from you school who is by now scared beyond reason.
You should also consider finding the underground colony that is usually out there somewhere.

If you get surrounded by zombies and there is no escape kill as many as you can, but don't get turned into one. That's worse than death.

chainsaw with lots of gas a new zr1, i would borrow it...i'm paying for it anyway, to move quick lots of guns and bows and arrows for when the ammo runs out on those guns and find some of you guys on here that have a plan so i can make a team with you more people alive the better. just don't forget the rules from zombieland

Well, at the place I work and the people I work with, I'm pretty much set. We have everything we could possibly need to fortify the building, and we have many products we could use for defense. Also, we have several military veterans and a collection of very smart people with us.

I will survive the zombie apocalypse.

I'd go get the woodchopping axe out of the shed, consume every substance in the house that has considerable psychoactive effects and go on a hallucenogenic insanity run until something manages to kill / infect me.

You'd be surprised at the results off of every Zombie attack test I try. I usually get the best results because I use my brain. First of all, zombies don't move very fast, or really fight with a strategy. I use my kung-fu moves on them and rip them to shreds with any other weapon. (Especially since they're walking piles of rotting flesh anyways)

I have a gas station, a mall, and a Costco within a few blocks of me, so I simply barricade myself in that area and form a survivor's colony by myself, using everything to my advantage. The Costco I would use as a supply depot, (Consider food supplies dealt with) and the mall as the headquarters. (So many rooftop lookout spots in there, too good to pass up.)

I'm good with a bow, deadly with a rifle, and a master at the sword. No zombies could even get within 5 feet of me without dying. (Again)

Not to mention they'll have a dragon. . . If only zombies tasted good when fried.

Despite what the movies may imply, going to a mall in the event of a conventionally portrayed zombie outbreak would be awesome if you want to have fun before you die and go out with a bang, but it'd be a terrible idea if you're attempting to survive; it's a large complex with many unfamiliar areas, unknown entry points etc, and this only plays an important part if we're ignoring another great inevitability: It will also be absolutely packed with panicked / confused people who are going by what they've seen in the movies, want to find a sense of safety in numbers or simply thought the mall would be a good idea. As well as the fact that they'll drain the resources (food and such) like crazy and probably end up breaking out into significant unrest, it's inevitable that infection is going to spread among them like wildfire and turn them all into zombies and corpses themselves.

Well, you're argument would be valid if you didn't know the mall inside and out, and had access to the keys to that mall, the keys to the Costco, guns and ammo, cars, gas, swords and knives, and know many of the people that work around the area. Of which I do. Trust me, a full Costco has at least a year's supply of food for a group of a hundred people, not counting the perishable goods that could go bad with power outages. And a mall has clothing, electronics, extra food, shelter, sports gear, possible weapons, and money, if it's ever needed. Plus it has hundreds of excellent hiding spots, sniper perches, and other strategic points, and I know them all.

And even if the zombie is a giant mutant thing that can only be truly killed in a special way. . . I know how to defend myself. Sword, gun, or fist. Plus I have a dragon behind my back. Nobody can beat that.
