Skills: Mind protect: Morwen learned as a very small child how to protect her mind from the slavers in order to hide her plans of escape from them. After more than ten years of practice Morwen learned how to make her mind almost invincible to multiple attacks of even dragon riders.
Fist: When Morwen was first captured she was weak, and could do little work. The slaver therefore got someone strong in magic to change Morwen's hand into a very strong weapon, with which she was able to do much work. Morwen learned how to use her hand as a deadly weapon, using the claws to rip things to shreds, or the hardness, and strength of the hand to crush things. Escaping the grip of her left hand is hard, but not impossible because she has a very weak body which tires quickly if she holds onto things to tightly.
Whip: Morwen wrenched her whip from the hand of one of the taskmaster's when she was escaping, and used it to aid her in escape. The whip has a reach of seven feet, so Morwen uses it like a long distance weapon when she cannot use her left hand. The whip is strong, but not capable of taking the life of a human - although it leaves a nasty sting, and even nastier scars.
Wings: Morwen has had wings as long as she can remember, and has always known how to use them. The only reason she was unable to use them to escape was because she was always surrounded by a magic barrier. Morwen was forced to use them as a slave, but because of this they grew strong enough to carry nearly four times her weight. When Morwen isn't carrying anything she can fly about as fast as a year old dragon.

Eyes: - Her left eye is a mix of all the dark shades of every color, and her right eye is a mix of all light shades of every color. (left eye is black based, and right eye is white based)

Character Personality: Dark, yet cheerful... Morwen has two extreme sides. Sometimes she seems very dark, while at other times she is so cheerful and optimistic that it is impossible not to smile. Morwen loves spending time with children, when she's in her cheerful mood, and she loves the sunshine and everything happy. When Morwen thinks about her past, her personality turns very dark, and she hates being near another living being. When in her dark mood, Morwen will either try to get as far away from people as possible, or try to kill them. Even in her cheerful mood Morwen is afraid of being near people, and will only go near children. Morwen is submissive, and is always willing to listen to the advice of others, and try it - when she's not running in terror that is. When Morwen knows someone is wrong she tries to get them on the right track, while making them think they came up with her idea. Morwen loves solving riddles, and looks at life as one huge riddle, waiting for her to unlock it's secrets. Morwen gets angry slowly when in her cheerful mood, but when she's in her dark mood, anger and hate come very quickly. Morwen is not easily offended, and avoids offending people to the best of her ability. She often sees herself as either worthless (dark mood) or not quite good enough (cheerful mood), which motivates her to better herself, while at the same time keeping her from looking down on others. Morwen accepts everything that happens to her, and never really lets bad things get her down. She would gladly sacrifice herself for someone else if she cared about them.

Character History: Morwen was born into a loving, and large family of humans, in the Beor mountains by a beautiful lake. At birth Morwen was given a "Blessing" by the village shade, which changed her from human into something with wings the color of the shade's eyes. One day slavers came up to the mountain ledge where the small village overlooked the beautiful mountain lake. They saw Morwen's wings, and figured she would probably sell for quite a bit. Of course Morwen's parents refused to give her up, and the slavers became angry. One night they destroyed the village, throwing people from the mountain cliffs, onto the cruel rocks in the mountain lake, and burning the village. Everyone except for Morwen was ruthlessly slaughtered. Not even the village shade survived the slavers attack. Morwen lost her memory of everything then, except for the remembrance of dead faces covered in blood, and a village burning.

The slavers took Morwen to a slave market in Uru'baen, and sure enough she sold for a lot, despite the fact that she was only two or three. Morwen's owner was a cruel Dragon rider (Astridell), who had Morwen branded with her (Astridell's) symbol on the base of the left side of her neck. Morwen was weak after all that had happened, and she never became strong after that making her owner angry. Astridell used magic to change Morwen's arm to make the young child useful, and was delighted with the results. Day after day, year after year, Morwen learned to hate Astridell, and those who worked for the dragon rider. Morwen always went to sleep with a new whip wound each night, and awoke to receive more in the morning. Morwen learned complete obedience, although she carried the spark of rebellion in her heart. It took years, but finally Morwen was strong enough to keep Astridell out of her mind. By that time Morwen was seventeen or eighteen, and she had come up with a way to escape.
The night of Morwen's escape, Astridell had left a lesser magician in charge of keeping the slaves from running, making Morwen's plan nearly flawless. Morwen did what was considered an act of rebellion, and was brought before the magician for punishment. This was what she had been waiting for. As soon as she was in reach, Morwen tore our the heart of the magician with her left hand, freeing herself from the magic which had made escape impossible for fifteen years. Morwen then turned on the one who had brought her, and killed him. Morwen took his whip without even thinking, and began to sneak out. A guard noticed Morwen, and was about to cry out, when she knocked him out with the whip. Morwen had been to far away to use her fist in time. Morwen was able to escape quickly after that, and soon she began a quest to unlock the riddles of the world, and destroy slavery.

Weapons:
Hand: Her left hand is basically a gauntlet as hard as the riders' swords - made that way by magic. It goes up halfway to her elbow, and is black. In place of fingernails on her left hand, Morwen has dragon-like claws.
Whip: A black slavers whip strengthened with magic. Morwen used it to escape, and decided to hang on to it. Because of the magic in it, the whip gets a little stronger every time it absorbs blood.

Likes: - Darkness, shadows, trees, and music

Dislikes: - Slavers, slave owners, and those who allow slavery to exist (i.e Galbatorix)

Weakness / Fear: - Morwen is terrified of people, water, heights, fire, and small spaces. She has a hard time doing anything but running when encountering any of these things. Morwen can't do anything at all with magic, and doesn't know one word of the Ancient language. She is very vulnerable to magic, and can't do anything with a sword or bow.

Animal Companions: - None

Character's Physical Description: Morwen is exactly five feet tall, and underweight at around 80 pounds due to her enslavement. Morwen is physically weak except for her left hand, and wings. Morwen's skin is very pale - owing to the fact that she has always been unhealthy because of her enslavement. Everything Morwen wears is black, and she only leaves her face uncovered. Morwen's back, legs, and arms are covered in scars from the many times she was beaten as a slave, which is the main reason she hides them. Morwen has a brand on the base of the left side of her neck that was given to her by the slavers. Morwen's eyes are almond shaped, and her hair is curly. It reaches about halfway to her waist. Morwen is quite pretty, although her beauty could not be compared to an elf. Morwen's beauty is more of an inward one than outward. Her wings are huge feathered ones, the shade of red I typed this in.

Dreams for the Future: - To destroy all slavers, and slave owners. To find out the secrets of the world.

Reason for Dreams: - Because she doesn't want anyone else to have to live the way she did for most of her life. She looks at life as a riddle.
