 Vacation/Family ReunionHey y'all I'm just letting you know that I'll be leaving for vacation from about the 23 this month to about the 6th next month. My aunt and uncle, whom I'll be staying with do not have internet, but we may bring our internet card with us, maybe. Even if we do I probably won't be on but once or twice that whole period.

Re: Vacation/Family Reunion Oh, I'll have lots of fun. I'll even tell you what I'm going to do.
My sister is really afraid of tubing, behind a boat that is, and water, and big fish. Well actually it is going fast while tubing, i.e. moving at all.  Anyway, I'm going to get her on the tube, by saying something like, "I'll go tubing with you, we'll go slow."Then after we're in deep water I'll say, "Careful in the water, there are big fish here," and then make us some horror story about the fish. At this point she'll be scared and try touching her feet to the back of her head to keep them out of the water  Then I'll point and say, "Look at that!" She'll look, and I'll signal the boat to go faster and over bumps. When we're going over said bumps I'll "accidentally" push her off into the water. And this all be caught on a camcorder to watched over and over again. Now before you say that I'm mean listen to this. The past several years that we have gone to the lake and she's gone tubing with someone else. She has literally and on purpose, shoved them off the tube so she can spread out on it and stay out of the water. I have video evidence to back this up and eyewitness accounts. Re: Vacation/Family Reunion It is about an 18 hour drive straight through, but that was when there were only four of us, now we have 7, all with bladders on a different schedule, so probably a 20 hour drive. and since hotel's are not cheap, that is a straight shot. Last time we switched off about every 2 hours, but now instead of 4 drivers we only have 3 so less time between driving.

Re: Vacation/Family Reunion Just checking in. My vacation is going great. My cousin just got married earlier tonight, we did go to the wedding though because they didn't know we were gunna be here, but that's okay, I'm really happy for him and his wife.
We were able to go visit some old friends of ours tonight though, which was nice. We've known them since I was born, but we moved away when I was 4, exactly on my birthday not kidding! Anyway we got reaquinted with them and hopefully they'll come out to the lake tomorrow. It is neat though because we haven't seen each other in years but after a few minutes it was like we had always known each other. My siblings were teasing me because me and one of the girls hit it off like that *snaps fingers* She and I have tons of stuff in common. Similiar past, same interests and goals, but I suppose you don't want to read me ramble on! how many got that? Re: Vacation/Family Reunion sounds like you're enjoying yourself! i wish my vacations were that fun. I'm usually miserable since i dont get along with family for long periods of time. we're ok with short periods, but sometimes even thats hard. congrats to your cousin and his wife. i wish them luck

I've decided that that I'm going to move out east to either Minnesota or North Dakota really soon! Some vacation right?! Go there and now want to move... I'll turn 18 in a few months, but I'll wait till December, after I finish my college semester so that I get my credits and maybe can graduate from High School a semester earlier, but I guess I'll just have to wait and see. Re: Vacation/Family Reunion That's awesome, Kit! lol we went through North Dakota on our road trip during a really big storm, and lemme tell you, it was scary! ND is all open to the sky and at the mercy of the weather. It's probably pretty cool, but I'm kind of scared of tornados so yeah lol.
