Post Heiram
Name: - Heiram.

Age: - 16.

Gender: - Male.

Skills:
Natural:
Heiram is a skilled fighter, in both of his forms. In his cat form, he typically ambushes his enemies from the treetops, and kills them with a bite to the back of the neck with his large canine teeth (which are as large as a tiger's, even though he is small.) In human form, he uses the same type of technique, only with daggers. He can fight face to face, but prefers not to do so.
Heiram is one of the best climbers ever. He loves to climb, and can scale almost any tree alive in his cloud leopard form. In human form, he is not as good as he is in cat form, but he is still a great climber. This is a natural skill (duh, lol) and takes no energy. He is constantly practicing his climbing skills.
Heiram is also a master at getting out of any and all work he is asked, or even told to do. He just has a knack for getting out of work.
He is also very skilled in woodcraft. He learned from the best and has always been good at tracking, hunting, as well as noticing the signs of the forest.

Magical:
Heiram can change his form into that of either a young male human, or to a cloud leopard. In his human form, he is barely five feet tall, and has shaggy brown hair and brown eyes, in this form; he is skilled with his two steel daggers. In leopard form, he is skilled in ambush attacks and is a very small cat, only some six feet long, which includes the length of his two and a half foot tail.

Race: - Werecat.

Hair: - Gold/brown undertone, with a pattern of black all over, in human form, his hair is brown.

Eyes: - Dark Brown.

Home Village: - A forest in the Empire.

Parents: - Malcom, and Kia.

Siblings: - None

Character Personality: Heiram likes to fight as a matter of fact he loves it. He can and does intentionally go out of his way to get into a fight and likes to win. He has something of a hyper character and if he knows and likes you, will talk almost continuously. One of the few things that could get him to shut up would be a fight, or someone saying something about his short he is. He is very self-conscious about his height and hates to be made fun of. That is one of the reasons he works so hard to become a better fighter. He sort of looks down on creatures such as humans and dwarves, and is a very proud werecat. He likes to hunt and defend his territory as well as himself. He works daily to make himself stronger, but for some reason, his muscles never get big. He likes to watch people and see their movements, when they don't know that he is there. He is a slacker and rarely ever works for anything. He has no problems with stealing what he needs. He has almost no ethics and would rather kill you with a stab in the back, or in your sleep, rather than fight you face to face. He is very lazy and hates to work on anything other than his fighting. He is a very smart werecat and many times avoids bad situations by using his intellect. He knows the forest well, and likes to be in it. He is well versed in the art of woodcraft and can easily get through the forests.

Character History: Heiram was born in a very rural area of Du Weldenvarden. He was part of a small, but very prominent, as well as peaceful tribe of werecats. His father, Malcom was neither the highest, nor the lowest ranking werecat, he was in the happy middle class. He was a very popular werecat, well respected by most. His mother, Kia, however was one of the high upper class in the tribe. She was the youngest daughter of one of the five elders who ruled the tribe. The two werecats, Malcom and Kia first met at a gathering, the gatherings were a great festival, which celebrated new live, in this case, the "new life" was two werecats, brother and sister of the oldest elder. They were twins, so the festival was twice as large as usual. The two werecats met each other, and not long after, the two fell in love with one another. And some twelve months later, Kia became pregnant.

Then, Heiram was born. He was an exceptionally small baby, as well as he had huge canine teeth. He was so odd, as a matter of fact, the elders attempted to "heal" him of his infirmities. When they were unable, they still threw a gathering celebration. The small werecat babe was almost instantly something of a celebrity, for its teeth, as well as size, two things about it that never changed.

It was exactly four years later. Heiram had come back from playing with the other werecats, that were his age, (which were very few) and was in a very bad mood. As it turns out, he was too short to play with them and he was too slow also, so the small werecat had ended up getting into a fight with the much larger, as well as more powerful, David. David was a large werecat, his cat form was that of a lion, making him one of the more powerful werecats, but that did not deter Heiram. He had fought hard, but in the end, he had been defeated by the larger and forced to climb up a tree to escape. He came back to his mother and father’s cave bloody and with tufts of hair in odd places where the larger werecat had bitten him. He looked at his mother, Kia and said, “It was not his fault, I started the fight, but they would not let me play.” His mother looked at him angrily and said, “Heiram, you know we are a peaceful lot, we do not use force to get what we want, we ask nicely and do good deeds so that others, in turn will do the same. Now, go apologize and then, go and help your father hunt.” Said the female werecat as she walked back into the cave and began to work on the cave, cleaning and doing whatever else was needed. Heiram then, angrily walked away and went into the forest to help his father. He, while walking, changed into his cloud leopard form and silently stalked through the forest. It was not long before he found a low hanging branch and he leapt up on it. From there, he followed the trees after the scent of his father. He continued his walk, hardly making any noise whatsoever as he leapt from tree to tree, or talked from one branch to the next. He was perfectly suited to hunt from this height, it also made him feel much better, being up here, for even the brute, David could not get this high in the air. It gave him a feeling of power, as well as superiority over the other werecats. For, as far as he knew there was not another like him, sure there were some lions, even some tigers, but there were none that were like him, it was his teeth and the distinctive pattern of black fur on his back which set him apart from the rest. So, he walked from tree to tree after his father. He found him some distance away. The large mountain lion was sitting on a large stone, sunning itself. The cat raised its head and asked, “Heiram? What are you doing out here?” Heiram took a step closer and leapt out of the tree and said, “Mother sent me, she says that I should help you hunt, because I got into a fight with David … again.” Said the werecat warily. Malcom looked at his son and said, “Hmm, it looks like he roughed you up a little, you really should try to get along with the others more, I mean, when you are one of the elders, so will they, you need to make friends, not enemies.” Said the wildcat as he looked back into the Sun. Heiram shrugged and sat beside his father. He looked at his dad and asked, “What do you want today, wild boar, deer, fish, some birds?” asked the small cat. Malcom looked at his son and said, “Surprise me, anything is good, I will meet you at home.” Said the mountain lion as he loped back to their cave. Heiram watched his father go, and once he was out of sight, ran and took a leap and latched on to the tree he hit, then, as nimbly as any squirrel, he climbed up the tree and began to hunt, in the opposite direction, than his father had gone. He walked silently through the trees, and saw many animals that would be suitable for his family, but he wanted a challenge, something that was both strong, but also fast. He peered over the boughs at the beast of his choice, the wild boar. The boar was oblivious to the two brown eyes watching it through the tree limbs above it. It was far to busy rooting about for tubers, mushrooms, and watching about itself for predators of the ground, such as the wolf, or other big cats. Heiram crept silently through the trees above the boar, looking for the perfect place to attack from. He always did this, for he knew that a boar that large could tear him apart with its large tusks. So, he waited, the cloud leopard circled the boar silently, but only from above. Then he tensed his muscles. He had found his ambush spot, not to wait for the boar to lumber into position. The young cat, though rash at times, knew patience was a good virtue, then the boar shifted in position. Heiram closed his eyes, the entire kill scene running through his head, and then leapt. He landed squarely on the shoulders of the boar, and bit the neck with his large teeth. They immediately severed the jugular vein. Then, Heiram leapt away and waited in the surrounding bushes for the large animal to stop kicking. When it did, Heiram began the long, laborious task of hauling the boar back to their home. When he got it there, both his mother and father helped him to drag the kill inside. They were very surprise that a cat that age, as well as size could kill, and haul in such a load, but the cloud leopard could do nothing but smile. He said, “It was tough, but these teeth are meant for it.” Laughed the werecat as he took his portion of the meat.

Some three years after that, there was yet another confrontation between the large David and Heiram. It was a fierce fight, and at the end, neither was willing to give in. This time, they had gotten into a fight over food. Heiram had killed a small doe, but David came along and attempted to take it from Heiram. It ended in a fight, but this time, Heiram was too fast for the larger werecat to catch. He was there, and then he wasn’t. Te large lion was much more powerful, but he was too slow to defeat the smaller, but more agile cloud leopard. In the end, David left and went back to his home, leaving a very proud and happy Heiram. The cloud leopard proudly ate the doe and went home to tell his mother and father about the battle.

It was about three years after the fight over the doe that Heiram got into serious trouble. He had been out hunting, and was doing quite well. The boar had no clue that he was there, but the large tiger werecat did know where the smaller, cloud leopard was. The tiger was a bad werecat, a killer as a matter of fact. The tiger watched the smaller, waiting for a chance to get at him. When the cloud leopard leapt upon the boar, the tiger leapt upon them both. The tiger sunk his jaws into the food of the leopard, causing the leopard to scream in pain. The leopard in turn bit the tiger on the face and retreated up a tree. The tiger roared loudly, enjoying the fight fully. He roared happily and began to climb the tree, coming straight for the smaller, as well as weaker, Heiram. Heiram did not know what to do, he had always been raised to never take the life of another werecat, but he was not being given a choice, if he did not kill the tiger, it would likely track him home, and attack his family! He could not let that happen, what to do? He growled and jumped at the tiger, which just laughed and continued his climb after the werecat. When the tiger got to a limb large enough, stood up and swiped at Heiram. It was a hit! The cloud leopard was hurled across the clearing and into the trees on the other side, but Heiram was a tough little cat. He limped a bit, but was not ready to give up just yet. The tiger laughed and said, “Hahaha, come on shorty, come and make my day, you will never be more than a midget, always a weakling, relying on everyone else!” roared the tiger cruelly. Then, Heiram’s anger clouded his judgment, despite his injure he swiftly raced through the trees toward the tiger, his claws extended to grab the tiger and do what was necessary. The cloud leopard was smaller, but still, was more at home in the trees. He took a flying leap and landed on the back of the tiger, then, with a ferocious growl, latched his teeth into the tiger, cutting into the jugular vein. The tiger fell out of the tree, but unluckily, it took Heiram with it. The tiger landed on Heiram and Heiram passed out.

When he woke, he found that he was in the cave of the oldest of the elders. The werecats stood over him and said, “What did you do? Why did you kill? You know that is against our laws, why?!” growled the elders angrily at the young werecat. Heiram, who still did not have enough energy to get up said, “I killed because I was attacked, nothing more, nothing less.” Then, the elders said together, “You have broken our law. When you are healed, you will leave and you cannot come back. We are sorry, but that is how it is.” Then they walked away, and a mountain lion and a wildcat walked up. Heiram said, “Mother, father?” The werecats answered by grunting slightly. Then, the two carried him back to their cave.

Seven months later. Heiram had fully recovered from his injuries, he still had a slight limp, but he was more than ok. His father walked up to him and said, “Heiram, you have really done it this time. You have to leave us, for the rest of your life, and can never see us again, but I do want you to have this, I stole it from some humans, and your love of fighting, you will need these.” Said the mountain lion as he pushed two daggers toward the cloud leopard. Then, his mother threw him some clothes and said, “Heiram, I love you, but this is not the place for you, you have a free spirit and are not content to live here, goodbye and know that we love you.” Said the wildcat as she turned away, for it was shameful to cry.

So, from then on, Heiram was on his own. He left the tribe and never looked back. He traveled past the lands of the elves and to the very edge of Du Weldenvarden, and there, he settled. He was close enough to the human settlements, that if he ever needed anything he could easily steal it. Or, barter for it.

But, over the years, Heiram began to become restless. His simple life in the forest became boring, something he hated, so he changed. It was rare that he was in human form, but he did it because he felt that it would be best to interact with the humans and dwarves, so he did. When he did, he found that he had long shaggy hair and that the clothes he had stolen over the years fitted perfectly. He donned the green cloak, shirt, and pants and walked into the nearest town, the humans called it, Cenuon. Heiram walked oddly, not being used to his human legs. He walked with his knives hidden in his cloak and clothes, knowing that he was not used to them enough to use them in any case. So, he walked into the town, everything was going well, he was meeting new people and getting along just fine, until that is a large, brutish man looked at him oddly and laughed loudly, saying, “Hey, lookit, look at the midget!” yelled the man laughingly, that is until a sharp right hook shut him up. Heiram looked angrily at the man and said, “Never call me short.” Said the werecat angrily at the man. Then, the large man hefted his broadsword and swung it at the smaller “man” luckily, Heiram was lucky enough to trip and miss the blade as it hurtled past where his neck was seconds ago. Heiram for the first time felt true fear. He ran. Heiram ran out of the city and into the forest of Du Weldenvarden, unluckily the soldiers followed. The large man in the front of the group was running full speed into the forest. Heiram scrambled up a tree and hid there. His breaths came in short bursts and he was terrified, but an idea came into his mind. He quietly pulled out the daggers, he had never really handled them before, other than to sharpen and keep the knives free of rust. But, this time, he truly felt the handles, they felt made for his hands. He followed the men from the treetops, watching. It reminded him of the time he had hunted the boar. The same thing applied here, but this time he would work from the back to the front, killing them from behind. He watched as the last in the line came toward him, it was a scrawny man, but was still taller than Heiram. Then, Heiram leapt. It was not very good, but it still worked. He landed on the man’s back and stuck him in the neck with his daggers. He smiled at his gruesome work, knowing that this was his talent. He went on after the others… As he hunted them, the men finally got wise and stuck together, but by now, there were only two left. The now quite experienced assassin, Heiram watched them from above. He was not sure what to do. All his other attacks had been on the slackers, and those who stopped for some reason or another. He watched the men and quietly slunk out of the tree. He changed his form, into that of a cloud leopard and silently crept toward the men. He decided on what to do. He climbed down the tree, like a squirrel, head down, and leapt on the neck of one man, swiftly biting the man in the neck, killing him instantly, unluckily, however the other man swung his sword and cut Heiram’s thigh deeply. The werecat screamed in pain, but was able to get away, high into the trees. The soldier fled the forest and never came back into it.

Over the years, Heiram became a better and better assassin, often killing entire groups of soldiers without anyone knowing what happed to them. He lived off of the fat of the land and neer did anything that he did not like, which included work. He stole, killed, scared and robbed from the humans that lived in the area, then the people began to get smarter and began to suspect that it was someone in the forest and he was forced to leave the area, badly as he hated it, it was just getting too dangerous to stay, especially with the large group of soldiers that were now stationed there, and who were waitig on him, so he left. He changed out of his cat form and walked the streets quietly, never talkign to anyone or anything, he walked, and walked, until he came to a large forest near the heart of the empire, and even better, it was within five miles of Uru'baen! That was where the best of the things were, and where the people were least defensive, especially since the king was there, and he was the only real problem, but Heiram did not fear him, he instead would use him. He would explore the city and learn the traps and such, and he would use them for his own gain, and that of the highest bidder....

Weapons: Claws, teeth, daggers.

Likes: - Hunting, climbing, fishing, as well as fighting.

Dislikes: - Boredom or responsibility.

Animal Companions: - None.

Character's Physical Description:
Cat Form: In cat form, Heiram is a sleek looking cloud leopard. His teeth are some of the biggest in the animal kingdom, for his size. He has bright brown eyes and short hair covering his body. His hair is mostly a gold/brown color, but he does have a pattern of black on his back, sides, head, and legs. He has a long tail. He has small, but strong legs and claws, built for climbing. His claws are a milky white color and are quite small, but very sharp for catching and holding prey. His teeth are a normal size, all of them but his canine teeth, which are by far oversized, and are much larger than his other teeth. His canines are meant to bite his enemies, or prey in the neck and swiftly kill them.

Human Form: In human form, Heiram is a very short man, only about five feet, two inches tall. He wears a light brown shirt and pants, which are stained and torn from years in the forest. He has long shaggy brown hair and deep brown eyes. He does not have large muscles and is very skinny. He has small leather boots, as well as a forest green cloak. He carries with him two daggers; both are exactly the same and are just regular steel. He has an air of anger about him most of the time, mainly because there is usually someone making some sort of joke about his height. He is a very shifty person in human form, and walks with an odd shuffling motion.

Dreams for the Future: - For people to stop calling him short.

Reason for Dreams: - It makes him angry.

Alignment/side: - Neither, he sides with neither of them because the war is making him rich, but he does not like soldiers at all, as a matter of fact, he kills any he sees, but only when they are not looking.

OOC: Yes, this is directly after my last three, but it is the last of my characters that are planned and I am tired of having this in my drafts, lol.
