 Free Hugs Campaign!Okay, some of you may have heard of this before and maybe some of you haven't..
Anyways, it's about a guy who had nothing left anymore and made a sign of simple cardboard that said: "Free Hugs" on it. This is the video: The Free Hugs Campaign has become a HUUUGE phenomenon around the globe and Wolvie and Njoy will be performing it too! On Saturday July 7th, 2007 (Yes, 07-07-07) we will be holding our own Free Hugathon at our own city Hoorn, we will try to film as much as possible and show you guys what became of it  Although if we won't have much succes here in our town, we'll probably go to the capital of our country, Amsterdam, which I'm sure most of you have heard of. It's quite bigger than our city here, so we'll try our luck there then, but only if it ain't a succes here ^.^ If you think it could be fun, try it yourself on 07-07-07 and let it go worldwide! First off, some info: With the official website up and running for quite some time now, the official website's forum had been targeted by many, MANY spambots.. The forum became flooded by spam posts, including website advertisements and sexual content.. Also, all of the staff (I believe it were 2 admins and about 7 or 8 moderators) had abandoned the forum and let the bots go wild.. Therefore, I personally have taken over the forum a couple of days ago as administrator and have deleted all the spam posts I could find (OVER 1000!!  )The forum was very outdated (it had version 2.0.22) and has now been converted/updated to the latest version (3.0.1) "Members" have been banned, deleted, you name it so that it is now clean again.. Right about now, I hope I can revitalize the forum and get a lot of members back to it, so we can all enjoy the moments of free hugs! http://www.freehugscampaign.org/ (the website) http://www.freehugscampaign.org/forum/index.php (the forum) I hope that we can get this forum up and running nice and smooth again! go stand somewhere downtown and wait for someone who needs/wants a free hug! Re: Free Hugs Campaign! You know what the great thing is, that actually is a nice idea. But I know exactly what would happen to me if I would try that here. I would get arrested. People in my area are ridiculous, it would be either sexual assault, disturbing the peace or something of that nature. Never mind that I am a 6'3 teenager, adults are scared of me half the time.

And in addition to getting arrested, this is also included in the text: "Make sure to check your local laws before embarking on your Hugathon!" Anyways, on the forum you can discuss this very thoroughly, 'cause you really aren't alone in being shy, not having done this before, and being afraid of getting arrested! There are quite some members who can give advice and tips on how to do or start something like it! =) _________________

You always think of other people,, you are the bestest friend and we are lucky to have you as one..  You know sometimes it's hard to open our heart and reach out to people... It's *very* nice to be able to hug ppl we don't really know before (or in this case, strangers), and feel their heart... I experienced it in a 'sensitivity' training I joined a while ago, we really *talked* with heart. So when you hug those ppl,, I bet you'll feel what they feel.. Way to go, Wolve!!!
