Okay, so looking back on my life, I realize I have come into contact with many different critters, and they were all (to varying degrees) crazy. Crazy good, crazy bad, or just plain crazy.

Like: I used to have a cat that wouldn't eat her food out of her dish, she'd scoop it out, piece by piece, with her paw, put it on the floor, and then eat it.

I used to have a dog that would act like he was running while he was asleep! It was pretty hillarious and whenever I woke him up he would bite my pants leg and try to rip my pants.

Lol, he probably thought your leg was a rabbit.

If a dog is bothering my horse, Sonny, he'll chase it. He did that with me on him one time. I had to jump off, 'cause I lost my balance.

My dog's not crazy just Stupid lol after 4 years in the house he still runs into our glass back door lol

And my other dog is an escape artist she out almost every week but doesn't run away she sits at the front door waiting to be put back into the dog pen lol

emma is really annoying sometimes or a lot of the time she will want out then in and out and so on all she wants to do is lay out in the sun then come in and make sure everything is ok then go back out! or she wants to go and find squirrels she LOVES them i mean u say it she goes crzy trying to find one! '

and she also thinks that she is human she sits like one on the couch but with her front legs on the ground!!?? and i dont mean for a second i mean for at least a couple of minutes

Lol, d-f. My g-pa's dog Hershey is like that. Except with deer, not squirrels. We got home a few hours ago and there were about four deer in the pasture behind their house, and she was going nuts. I ran to get the binnoculars, but by the time I got back, she had already scared them away.

@ Aeraldi: Once again, that's how my g-parent's dog is. (Except it's Winston this time, lol.) He'll go out and lay in the sun for about ten minutes, and then he comes to the door wanting back in the house. I don't like to let him lay out there though, he's a Boston Terrier and they don't handle heat very well. (Not at all, actually.)

My aunts pug got drunk one new years it was a comical sight it kept falling on its side and when it was coming downstairs it tumbled down lol

Ha ha! I just thought of this really funny story! My mom and I were driving to my cousin's house and they had a new dog that I was dying to see. When I got out it ran up to greet me and almost knocked me to the ground with excitement. When my mom got out it started growling at her and tried to chase her out of the yard. For some reason, dogs really like me and can't stand my mom!

Lol, that's how animals are with me. We went to a bbq one time at one of my mom's friends, and they had this stray cat that would come up and try to beg food from us. Whenever anybody tried to touch it, it ran away. Then it came up to me and I just sat real still and let it smell the food on my plate. (It was some stray sloppy joe meat and I was already through anyway.) It licked it up and then rubbed all over me while I scratched under it's chin. Lol, the people tried to send it home with me, but my mom didn't want to take it home in the car without a carrier.

Just a few weeks ago, the youth group leader's girlfriend came up to the church camp we were at and she brought her dog with her. That poor dog was so nervous! I walked up to it and rubbed it on it's side. Then L----- (the girlfriend) told me she was surprised Daisy let me touch her, she normally runs away from strangers.

That sounds like fun... How did you get them back outside?

My mom told me that when I was little, we had a cat that was half bobcat. We got him from my ebil g-ma, but she hadn't gotten him fixed, so when he became an adult, he went psycho. He would run down the side of the hallway, hanging onto the wall by his claws. (Apparently he had more bobcat than domestic cat in him. I'm not sure why that made him crazy though.)

Lol, my mom would know exactly how that feels...


We used to have a rottie. Well, my mom's chair was set between the kitchen and the living room, it kind of made a diagonal line between the kitchen door and the front door. Whenever we let Mandy (the rottie) into the house, she'd cross the floor in 3 jumps, and on the 3rd jump, she'd land in the lap of whoever was sitting in the chair. (Especially if it was my mom, then she'd make it 2 jumps.)

I don't think I have too much crazy animal stories...except for the time I got knocked down by a goat... lol.I was at the fair and it just got on its hind legs and put its front ones on my chest, and so knocked me down. then it tried to eat the sticker on my shirt... I think I was in like 3rd or fourth grade...

I was tossing around a tennis ball in the house with my dog a couple of weeks ago. One time I tossed it and it landed on these collapsible cat cube-toys. While Rosie (my dog) was looking for the ball, she flipped the cubes over on top of it. She looked for it for like 5minutes before I finally said, "Look under the cubes, genius." She immediately turned around and flipped the cubes over with her nose, then brought me the ball.

I read somewhere that can actually form a vocabulary of sorts over time of a few words... like 50 or 100.
My friend's dog understood "don't eat bugs"
But yeah, it is kind of interesting sometimes, like when you direct or point them to an object.

Lol, Idk, I'm pretty sure her vocab is more than 50-100 words. Then again she's half Border Collie and those are extremely intelligent (and hyper...) dogs. She can be really hard-headed when she wants to be though. I'm about to do a rerun course on her manners. (With peanut butter dog biscuits instead of gold stars, lol.) Cruck, I had to go buy a choke chain because she wouldn't walk on the leash properly. Now she knows better and doesn't choke herself. She even went to church yesterday, but I had to constantly tell her to lay down before the service started. (People and music and ADHD dog, oh my! ) Hence the review on basic manners.

she saw a bunny once and took off. i wasnt ready, slipped, fell in a huge patc h of mud, and had to walk a mile and a half home whering it. luckily it was in the woods--little traffic to see it.

Lol, I go to a cowboy church in a barn. Lots of dogs. Even had a chicken snake up in the rafters a few weeks ago. And my mom ran over a little bitty ground rattler in the drive way the week after that. Anywho, our preacher sometimes rides his little buckskin mare Holly when he's preaching. (Usually he does this when he's trying to make a point about something and a demonstration of sorts helps.)

Although if you're wondering, my church is only 2 yrs old and we don't have our own building yet, so we rent a covered arena from this stable to use.

Oh, and back to the preacher... Last Sunday he had a round pen set up and he started lunging a little chesnut mare. (He was preaching about love and trust, and the mare was the demonstration.) Yeah, my church is a lot of fun. One time somebody's phone went off (it was a rooster crow-ring tone) and some dog started barking at it, right in the middle of the service.

funniest thing ever for dog owners:: go to phonezoo.com and look up Squeak Squeak. turn your volume up loud, play it, and watch your dog come running.

Hehehehe, I've got several.

1. I used to have this dog, back when I was around three, it was a really massive black dog with "Big white teef" as I used to call them. Anyway, this was back when we lived at a fairly large house at a place we simply refer to as "The cow field" because of the cow field out back. I had my own room back then, and had just started to sleep in a "Big" bed, so I was a little on edge already. I'd just slightly fallen asleep a little bit, you know when you're in between asleep and awake, and suddenly this THING starts barking and snarling and I see what I think is a bear outside my window, trying to come in and eat me. Needless to say, I started screaming like mad lol, my dad thought it was hilarous, my mom thought it was "Sweet" and "Cute" but hey, they gave me oreos so I'd calm down and I got to stay up 'till ten for the first time in my life because I was "Too scared of the big mean bear to go back to sleep" XP

I'll give you guys another at a later time. I'll post them in the order they happened XP They get worse with each year

2. I was like, five, and I had this pet flying squirrel named Nutty (Aw, so creative) and we'd feed him mini M&Ms sometimes. Well, my brother once had a packet of them in his room. He fell asleep with them on his dresser next to his bed. So Nutty got out of his cage and jumped on my brothers' head to get the candy lol ^?^

It was a rescue, really. It was a baby and dad just found it on the ground. It was a long time ago, prolly not legal anymore. XP

My cat stood on my head today XD He was up on top of a dresser, and when he climbed down he happened to do so onto my head XP

Ok, so I'm outside the other night with my dog. It's dark and humid and I really didn't want to be out there in the first place. THEN my dog, Rosie, starts growling. It wasn't a play growl either, it was a big, deep, menacing sound. (I honestly didn't know my lil sweetie could sound that mean.) I thought at first she'd found the neighbors cat, so I whistled her back cause she sounded like she was about to jump whatever it was. She came towards me, but started running back to whatever she saw, growling and barking the whole way. Then it hit a streetlight and I saw what it was. My big, bad dog had found an armadillo. Lol, the way she was freaking out and not coming to me I thought she'd found something worse than the cat and it turned out to be a friggin armadillo. Well, at least I know Rosie won't let a monster get me. (She stayed between me and it.)

Well, this will certainly make you question my sanity.

Earleir yesterday, I was thinking about taking my dog out. She suddenly pops up downstairs. She doesn't normally come downstairs.

Then I thought about giving her a treat, maybe part of my dinner or watever. She leads me upstairs to the fridge.

Then, when we were on our way ouside, I had the thought that I would attemp to get her through the 6 foot collapsible tunnel mom bought for me to use in her training. I reached down for it, and she growled.

I THINK SHE WAS READING MY MIND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Lol, that's cool I haven't seen my dog for 2 months

I'm not sure if this counts buuut:
One time when we had Taco Bell for supper, it didn't sit well on my stomach. Well my dog (Dusty) decided he was cold and wanted to crawl under my blankets and lay at my legs with his nose pointed at my hiney. Well, I let one loose and he shot up, walked out from under my cover, looked at me and fell over. I thought I had killed him so I poked him. He twitched, rolled over, got up, jumped off my bed, peed on my book bag, and walked off.... I think he was mad at me or something.

ROFL!!!! Oh my, my brother did that to my cat one time and she clawed him in the... Well, let's just say she clawed him in a VERY inconvenient place.

Here is a new one: I was videocamming my dog, pointed the cam at her and, and she starts doing her business! What's up with that?

And if you say "Harry Pottttttttteryyyyyyyyy" in front of my snake while holding him, he'll weave like a cobra. It's really cute, and he's so adorable! *huggles Ari Chris*

My mom bought Rosie a Frisbee the other day. She went crazy over that thing! She thinks it's the best invention ever and I can't figure out why we didn't get her one sooner. I'm really considering agility dog training for her now. Maybe that'll wear some of her border collie-energy down.

If I could Agility train flit, the world would come to an end....

Her name isn't actually Flit, but I call her that and she responds to it. Her name is Nik.

Lol, that's a cool name to. A guy brought a puppy to my church today. Her name is Lucy, she's 7 weeks old, and is a blue heeler. SUPER CUTE!!! O-mg, now I want one lol, and I don't even like heelers after my brother's chased my horse with me on him. :/

So I tried to post a pic of Rosie and Sonny the other day, but the site wouldn't accept them or something. So apparently you peebles are never going to see the cuteness of my dog or the awesomeness of my horse.

My cat. Is. Psychotic. *Cringe* He sleeps. On. The bookeshelf now. Lol, he's spazzo. And we got him a toy hedgehog for Christmas (Well, it WAS a mouse, but he chewed the tail until it came off. Now it's a hedgehog...) and he's running up and down the hall way right now, chasing the critter lol XD

I cannot get mail because of my dog. This is a hilarious story though, so it's worth telling.

Basically, it started when we got a new temporary mailman. This guy HATES dogs! And I mean, if he sees a dog, he'll pepper spray them and kick them. Well, my normally friendly dog goes over to greet him, and gets kicked and pepper sprayed instead. Well, ever since then, he barks and chases the mailman (But never bites him) who began to complain about him being "A very dangerous, aggressive, and vicious dog".

Well, the director of the local post service told us to get a chain for him. We do so, and the mailman still complains. They tell us to move our mailbox from our door to the street, and the mailman STILL complains. We eventually get animal control and the police sent after us, and they only laughed.

Eventually the temp was fired, and a guy we know was placed as the mailman. But the damage had already been done, and we have been denied our mail ever since.

The most hilarious thing though, was the dog itself. My dog is a shih-tzu/Laso Apso mix, he looks and sounds like an ewok from star wars, and his name is Fizzgig! A dog as harmless and small as him scared a mailman into running away. I remember the faces of the police officers when they called the police on us again. "Is this the only dog on the property?!"
"Yep."
*Second officer gets out of squad car with flabbergasted face* "YOU'VE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME!!!"
*Fizzgigg runs to second officer and rolls over*
"He rolled over, quick call back up!" *Everyone laughs*
