Anyway I think Orrin will die, Cp will kill him just to make the ending sad or something like that and then Nasuada becomes the leader of Surda, or Alagasia, (if Orrin doesn't die).

To break the Cliche perhaps? CP would never do that unfortunately but i do think that Arya's mother is going to be the one killed: if you look at how many "good" options are available when a character is killed i think she has the most. such as with her death Arya could become Queen etc.. etc.. also her death would not impair the story to much.

But it would seem unlikely for CP to kill her off. I think someone like Jeod or Blodhgrarn will die.

It is quite likely for Murtagh to die but I wouldn't want him to as he's my favourite character. I think someone like king Orrin or Angela should die because they're time is up. I think there should be a new king in Surda and after Galbatorix is dead there wont be much intresting things going on so Angela will kind of be board, if you know what I mean.

And yes, Murtagh would be free if Galbatorix was to die.

I don't actually like Orik. I can't see him dieing because he has just become the king of the dwarves.

From my experience Nasuada is probably the most hated character in the IC when it comes to what the fans thinks. And I agree.
But I'm quite sure that she unfortunately will live.

Just as CP has said, the IC is to a large point about the new genaration. The ones who takes over the positions of power. Those are Eragon, Arya, Orik, Roran, Nasuada and Murtagh.

Because of who they are (the younger generation) I'm quite certain that they will live. At least most of them. Murtagh are a question mark for me.

Before Eragon’s Guide to Alagaësia I believed that Islanzadí would be one of those who would die. But in Eragon’s Guide to Alagaësia she is refered to as in beeing alive. And it take place after the war.

But when it comes down to it I believe that Orrin, Jörmundur and (sadly) Murtagh will die of the "main" characters.

What was said that makes you believe that it wont be Islanzadi? (unfortunately i dont have the guide) She was the person I believed to die.

I think it is unlikely for Izlanzadi to die because that would mean Arya would become queen, and in elf age she is very young. I think Nasuada is most likely to become the ruler of Alagasia after Galbatorix dies, (If the Varden do win). Someone like Blodhgarn is most likely to die.

Nobody really likes Nasuada though, and Roran has shown great leadership, and especially if he becomes a DR, he will be a much better ruler of Alagasia, especially with Eragon gone.

It's more likely she won't die, CP wouldn't kill a character based on his sister.

It's still seeming most likely that Murtagh will die. But here's my pre-realease casualty list for book 4 (Bear with me, some will most likely be wrong. Feel free to tell me why you think that some of these will not die)

1. Murtagh- because he'll never really be accepted and if he dies, then he's magically a hero because he can be. Will most likely change his true name first and then die saving Eragon as some sort of anti-climax or cliffhanger to a chapter.

2. Galbatorix- He's the main bad guy. If they didn't kill him we'd actually be surprised, can't have that.


And can't think of any applicable "Good" guys at the moment sooo...yah...

The only thing that I could see Murtagh doing to gain there respect would be to self sacrifice either himself or Thorn, which would show them a true change of heart.

Exactly, the people harbor there hatred not only against Murtagh and Thorn but Morzan too. Theres to much hatred there for something as simple as Eragon's word to change that.

He's like the most hated character I think, after Galbatorix. Once Galby dies Murtagh has no place really in the new Alagaesia.

I like Murtaugh, he's a good guy! Just caught in Galbatorix's trap. He'll excape eventually though, but I agree, he will end up dieing

Blodhgran - his magician elf, Arya, there's two or three people he can trust - Roran maybe.

Murtagh is trust worthy a lot - it was bad luck that he got captured by The Twins.
