 FIFA World Cup South Africa 2010I was actually kind of expecting there to be a topic on this. But there wasn't. Lol.
But anyways, if it dies too bad, but I decided to make it. I might be back soon too, btw, but I'm not 100% sure. So far, all the favorite teams for taking the cup have not looked great. Spain lost, and they were the very favorites. Brazil had a rather unconvincing win, and Germany pounded on Australia 4-0 but were then defeated by Serbia. It's a rather weird World Cup. England have had two abysmal performances, but they scraped ties in them. If they want to pass, they'll have to win the next game. Same goes for the United States, they've tied both and must win in order to go on. The US pulled off a rather spectacular draw against Slovenia, though, I was impressed. I did also think the referee robbed them of a goal. But that's how soccer is sometimes *shrug*. Mexico has been playing pretty good, they tied against South Africa(even though they should have won, but if you don't put the ball in the net you can't get results), and, as was quite a surprise to everyone, they beat France 2-0. I'm pretty happy with how they're playing. Argentina is ravaging, though, with convincing wins on both their games. A few of the African teams, such as Ghana and Ivory Coast, have also had decent performances. Italy, the last champions, did not convince either, as they tied 1-1 against Paraguay. Fun Fact: A Frenchman bet against Mexico and later paid by kissing a donkey's ass. I found it pretty hilarious.  _________________

Re: FIFA World Cup South Africa 2010 i'm sad romania didn't get to the Cup. we have a good team with good players. and the funny thing is that we beat a lot of the teams that played in the Cup... i think you would have enjoyed watching romanian soccer.
i think the Ivory Coast has more chances at winning than all the other african teams. they have Drogba. |

Sad Fact : The host of this times World Cup (South Africa) is also the first to be eliminated. Fun Fact (for me at least ) : The Netherlands are the first to be through to the 1/8 finals. P.S. Good to have you on board again red, hopefully for a bit longer now  _________________
